Influence of Dafeng Wind Power Field on Birds in Jiangsu

Abstract:The establishment of wind power field might make some influences on the ecological environment and birds.In this article,based on the remote sensing image of April 14th 2005,the influence of Dafeng wind power field on the inhabiting,foraging and migrating of birds was studied by graph overlay method,visiting local bird experts and recording relative information of the amount,distribution and habitat of birds such as red-crowned crane by fixed-point counting method.So some measures of changing land use patterns,setting up the monitoring and aid station for migratory birds,painting caution color on the fans and wires were put forward to secure the bird safety and their normal survival.
