Abstract:Molecular nutriology emerged with the rapid development of molecular biology and the technology of gene engineering. Research of molecular nutrition would establish the basis to further interpret the mechanism of all nutrients in vital movement of human being, which would contribute to a more reasonable and individual standard guideline of nutrient intake. DNA chip technology is a new developing method that can help researchers analyze many bio-information automatically, quickly and simultaneously, in order to the relationship among the level of gene expression, the change of physiologic reaction and state research at the genomic level. DNA chip technology provides a new powerful approach for molecular nutrition to illuminate the genome-level influence of different nutritional ingredient and environment on the gene expression and reveal nutrition physiological mechanism and the effect of environment on viable organism.
