Marxist Theory of Consumption and Its Practical Guide Significance

Abstract:Marxist theory of consumption not only contains the classification of consumption,the interaction of consumption and production,but also definitely promotes the view of moderate consumption,and profoundly analyses the institute factors that affect consumption.As the purpose of production,consumption is to realize human′s survival and development,especially to realize human′s free and comprehensive development.Equitable distribution is the basis for achieving consumption purposes;moderate consumption is the necessary condition;the reaction of consumption to production makes it easier to achieve consumption purposes.Based on Marxist theory of consumption and contrasting the China′s current economic situation,comsuption,which is the ultimate driving force of economic growth,should be comprehensively upgraded.Narrowing the income gap is the key to enhancing the consumption.
