Experimental Research of Influence of Pumping Technique on the Performance of Cement Emulsified Asphalt Mortar

Abstract:To study the influence of pumping construction on the performance of high sensitivity cement emulsified asphalt mortar at different distances,the differences of cement emulsified asphalt mortar between after pumped and without pumped were studied by testing the indexes of fluidity,extension,air content,mass per unit volume,temperature,expansion rate,separation degree,flexural and compressive strength,elastic modulus,frost resistance and fatigue resistance.The physical quality of pumped cement emulsified asphalt mortar was studied by exposing plates on site as well.The results showed that the physical,mechanical and durability performance of cement emulsified asphalt mortar were not changed significantly when the pumping technique was adopted.All these parameters met the requirement of the technical rules.The physical quality of pumped cement emulsified asphalt mortar as the filling layer on site also met the requirements.Therefore,the pumping technique was proved to be suitable for the rapid large-scale construction of cement emulsified asphalt in ballastless track.
