Magnetic Properties of NdFe12 − V and NdFe12 − V N (x = 1–3)

Abstract:The iron-rich intermetallic compound NdFe12 − xVx (x = 1–3) and its nitrides NdFe12 − xVxNy have been investigated. For NdFe12 − xVx, the Curie temperature TC, the saturation magnetization Ms and the anisotropy field BA decrease with increasing V concentration. NdFe12 −xVxNy has a TC of about 750 K, BA of about 8 T and Ms in the range 150 – 122 J T−1 kg−1 with x = 1.25 – 2.5.
