Abstract:Currently,the information construction of university enters the stage of constructing university-level unified information system based on top design.At this stage,it is essential to set up an appropriate theoretical model for the information construction of university.By studying the theory of the enterprise architecture and summarizing the experience of the information construction of Tsinghua University,a theoretical model called university architecture(UA) is proposed for the university-level information system construction at the stage of information integration.The university architecture consists of the following three parts: business architecture,information systems architecture and technology architecture,and could provide unified planning for the overall process of information system development.

Abstract:Because of the complexity of the hospital environment, there exist a lot of medical information systems from different vendors with incompatible structures. In order to establish an enterprise hospital information system, the integration among these heterogeneous systems must be considered. Complete integration should cover three aspects: data integration, function integration and workflow integration. However most of the previous design of architecture did not accomplish such a complete integration. This article offers an architecture design of the enterprise hospital information system based on the concept of digital neural network system in hospital. It covers all three aspects of integration, and eventually achieves the target of one virtual data center with Enterprise Viewer for users of different roles. The initial implementation of the architecture in the 5-year Digital Hospital Project in Huzhou Central hospital of Zhejiang Province is also described

Abstract:Information Architecture(IA) plays a very important role in the information resource planning,organization and the website operation.However,most websites haven't made full use of this theory and tool,because users take more negative experience than the positive one,after a lot of examination and analysis of the main websites in China taken by people.Thus,we establish a framework that helps us to analyze the crucial factors impacting website IA to account for the phenomena,based on the right understanding of the concept of IA.Combining with the status quo IA application in China,we then use the framework to analyze the main obstacles in IA.Finally,we give some good suggestions to improve the quality of IA.

Abstract:An intelligent interface architecture for human-computer cooperation named IAMA (Intelligent Architecture based on Multi-Agent) is proposed. The problems on dealing with temporal relation of multimedia object, intelligent guiding and application semantic in IAMA are discussed. IAMA is based on multi-agent model in which each visual element cooperates with each other to provide continuous support to user. The control agent coordinates communication among visual elements, and the agent provides user interest model and reasoning service. IAMA supports larger grain reuse and flexible interface system composition. An example using this architecture is introduced to show the effectiveness of IAMA.

Abstract:General Integrated System Architecture is a set of models and methods. It describes different aspects of the system and covers its life cycle. Its models are structured, including multi-lays and multi views. They are descriptions and cognitions of the system at the top level. And they provide tools and methodology to understand, design, develop, and implement the system. Therefore, they can be referred to in enterprise diagnosis, business progress reengineering, and implementation of information system. Some scholars have put forward their architectures under synthesizing and standardization. To meet the requirements in practicing enterprise informatization projects, this paper analyzes the elements and frame interrelation of foretime architecture. And consequently this paper addresses the elements and their correlation. It may become the foundation of architecture which can be extensively instructive.

Abstract:The Web is based on a browsing paradigm that makes it difficult to retrieve compositive information from multiple sites. Web information integration systems,as a sophisticated solution to this problem,enable easy retrieval for comprehensive information from the Web. Based on a prototype we have implemented a Web information integration system,which is called Aoede. This paper introduces the design and implementation of the systems by analyaing many of its main issues,including architecture ,information resources ,wrapper,mediator ,query optimization and execution. Difficult problems are highlighted and respective possible solutions to them are also given.

By giving an outline of the information architecture(IA)theory,the paper discusses relations between IA theory and the individual information service.The paper also concretely probes the revelatory tole of IA theory to individual information service and the theoretical model of them. Abstract:Most recently, attention has focused on adaptive interface in the human-computer interface domain. This paper presents an architecture of adaptive interface and its implementation. In this paper, we first introduce several fundamental concepts of adaptive interface, then an architecture of adaptive interface is designed based on the analysis of these concepts. The structure and technology of this architecture are discussed in detail. This architecture is applied to GS-ICCC, which is an integrated CAD/CAPP/CAM system. This paper also describes some details when implementing this architecture. The adaptive architecture of GS-ICCC has been implemented based on X-Window/Motif environments. It has proved to be highly efficient.

Abstract:As a new software paradigm evolved by the Internet, Internetware brings many challenges for the traditional software development methods and techniques. Though architecture-based component composition (ABC) approach is originated in the traditional software paradigm, it supports the engineering of Internetware effectively due to its philosophy, rationales and mechanisms. ABC has three major contributions to the engineering of Internetware in detail. First, the feature oriented domain modeling method can structure the “disordered” “software entities” to “ordered Internetware” bottom-up in the problem space. Second, the architecture centric design and analysis method can support the development of self-adaptive Internetware. Third, the component operating platform is a reflective and self-adaptive middleware that not only provides Internetware with a powerful and flexible runtime infrastructure but also enables the self-adaptation of the structure and individual entities of Internetware.

Abstract:Digital Libraries were emerging on the demands of efficient manipulating of information resources. What digital libraries focus on are the main problems of the Internet:the difficulties of locating the required information, the interoperability of heterogeneous information, and manipulation mechanism of the large amount of information. The key technologies of digital libraries include the efficient organization of digital information, the interoperability of information repositories, and the infrastructure of digital libraries. The purpose of digital libraries is to realize the unified information retrieval across repositories,provide a virtual integrated information net. The main part of this paper introduces three influential digital library architectures, InterSpace, InfoBus and Agent-based architecture. In the end, the technologies todesign and to implement the architectures of digital libraries are summarized, the developing trend is anticipated.
