Abstract:In this paper, we obtain the n n th-logarithmically improved regularity criterion of smooth solutions for the incompressible Leray- α \alpha -MHD model in terms of the magnetic field B B . Meanwhile, the new logarithmically improved regularity criterion for the 3D Navier-Stokes equation in terms of the pressure π \pi and gradient of velocity ∇ u \nabla u can also be established. Especially, we explore a new logarithmically improved Serrin’s criterion for the 3D Navier-Stokes equations, which improves the results of Lei and Zhou [Commn. Pure Appl. Anal. 12 (2013), pp. 2715–2719].

Abstract:Several types of new regularity criteria for Leray-Hopf weak solutions u to the 3D Navier-Stokes equations are obtained. Some of them are based on the third component u_3 of velocity under Prodi-Serrin index condition, another type is in terms of ω_3 and ∂_3u_3 with Prodi-Serrin index condition. And a very recent work of the authors, based on only one of the nine entries of the gradient tensor, is renovated.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the 3D incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations and establish several logarithmically improved regularity criteria in the homogeneous Besov space. These criteria are based on certain assumptions made in the velocity field and pressure, respectively. The first result solely based on the velocity field indicates that the velocity field plays a dominant role in determining the regularity of weak solutions, when compared with the magnetic field.

Abstract:We prove a logarithmic improvement of the Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg partial regularity theorem for the Navier-Stokes equations. The key idea is to find a quantitative counterpart for the absolute continuity of the dissipation energy using a pigeonholing argument. Based on the same method, for any suitable weak solution, we show the existence of intervals of regularity in one spatial direction with length depending exponentially on the natural local energies. Then, we give two applications of the latter result in the axially symmetric case. The first one is a local regularity criterion for suitable weak solutions with small swirl. The second one is a slightly improved one-point CKN criterion which implies all known (slightly supercritical) Type I regularity results in the literature.

Abstract:In this paper,we review some recent work on the Cauchy problem of the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in recent years.It is well known that the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes system has the global Leray-Hopf weak solutions.When the weak solution satisfies the ProdiSerrin condition,the solution is regular.We obtain some new results in the regularity conditions.Especially,for axisymmetric system,when the rotation speed is zero,it is well known that the system is globally well-posed.We find a new conserved quantity,and obtain some new advances in the regularity conditions of axisymmetric solutions with nonzero swirl,also get the global well-posedness results with the small initial rotating speed.Furthermore,we also get the similar result for the inhomogeneous system.In the end,we consider the global well-posedness of a class of generalized Navier-Stokes systems with the higher order horizontal viscosity D2αh,α≥4/3.
A localized criterion for the regularity of solutions to Navier-Stokes equations

Abstract:The Serrin-Prodi-Ladyzhenskaya type $L^{p,q}$ criteria for the regularity of solutions to the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations are fundamental in the study of the millennium problem posted by the Clay Mathematical Institute about the incompressible N-S equations. In this article, we establish some localized $L^{p,q}$ criteria for the regularity of solutions to the equations. In fact, we obtain some a priori estimates of solutions to the equations depend only on some local $L^{p,q}$ type norms. These local $L^{p,q}$ type norms, are small for reasonable initial value and shall remain to be small for global regular solutions. Thus, deriving the smallness or even the boundedness of the local $L^{p,q}$ type norms is necessary and sufficient to affirmatively answer the millennium problem. Our work provides an interesting and plausible approach to study the millennium problem.

Abstract:Smooth solutions to the axially symmetric Navier-Stokes equations obey the following maximum principle: parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, t)parallel to(L infinity) <= parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, 0)parallel to(L infinity). We first prove the global regularity of solutions if parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, 0)parallel to(L infinity) or parallel to ru(theta) (r, z, t)parallel to(L infinity(r <= r0)) is small compared with certain dimensionless quantity of the initial data. This result improves the one in Zhen Lei and Qi S. Zhang [10]. As a corollary, we also prove the global regularity under the assumption that} vertical bar ru(theta)(r,z,t)vertical bar <= vertical bar ln r vertical bar(-3/2), for all 0 < r <= delta(0) is an element of (0,1/2). Abstract:The finite-analytic numerical method is presented for discretization of three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. In this article, a new 27-point finite-analytic discretization scheme is derived utilizing the superposition of the local analytic solutions of linearized hue-dimensional convection-diffusion equation. It is shown that the new 27-point finite-analytic numerical solution is computationally efficient and accurately simulates both convection and diffusion, due to the analytic nature of the solution, which provides an automatic, smooth, gradual upwinding of the three-dimensional convective effect.
