Comprehensive Evaluation System for Residential Refuse Treatment Model of Small Towns in Three Gorges Area

Abstract:This paper describes current status of residential refuse treatment of the small towns in Three Gorge area.Based on the analysis of factors affecting the treatment models,this paper puts forward the selection principles of evaluation indicators of the comprehensive evaluation system for residential refuse treatment model.Then the paper defined four groups of evaluation indicators:economy indicators,technology indicators,environmental benefit indicators and social environment indicators,which have sub-factors under each category.With the indicator system,the four models are analyzes and evaluated.The result shows that in an appropriate range,the optimized mode of the small towns in Three Gorge area is centralized treatment covering all the towns in an appropriate area—composting and landfill.
