Abstract:Industrial cluster is a form of productive area and it is the cross research domain of enterprises' management and regional economy. The paper based on the developing status quo of enterprises' industrial clusters, according to the industrial cluster theory, analyzed the patterns and characteristics of industrial clusters. By the survey of major provinces and regions of China, the paper comprehensively analyzed the development trend, characteristics and problems of industrial clusters, and proposed developmental measures and countermeasures, such as incorporated them in the planning and management scope of government; supported fund and infrastructure; optimized government's service; regulated market order and strengthened public opinion and propaganda.

Abstract:Against the economic globalization background, enterprises in our country are facing the intensifying competition. The current theory is limited in angle of enterprise and industry competition, showing the lack of cluster competitiveness analysis. To most small and medium-sized enterprises without core competitiveness, industry cluster is an effective type of organization to promote the competitiveness. This paper created the “New-Diamond Framework” by using Porter's “Country Competitive Advantage Theory” as a source of reference and made empirical study on typical Zhejiang textile cluster. We think it has the strategy meaning to promote clusters' competitiveness and internationalization of the small and medium-sized enterprises in our country.

Abstract:Clusters perform differently. Many studies have focused on the competitiveness and strategy, among which the GEM (Groundings-Enterprises-Markets) model is quite favored in practice though with some intrinsic drawbacks, i.e., heuristic, simple and general. By analytic hierarchy process (AHP), detailed and weighted indicators through SPSS analysis and a special cluster, we try to overcome the defects. We apply the modified framework into Changsha engineering machinery cluster in center China and evaluates the competitiveness in detail. Finally, we propose three strategies according to the modified GEM analysis, which are, cluster foundation improvement strategy, cluster innovation strategy and, global value chain strategy

Abstract:Recent researches on cluster mainly focus on network innovation, regional innovation systems and small-and medium-sized firms, yet manufacture of equipment research is scare. In this study, we compared different clusters' concentration measured methods, and then selected LQ to measure Chengdu manufacture of equipment. We find its whole strength is low and inner structure is unreasonable. We give some suggestions to the founded problems.

Abstract:It is an important strategic measure to enforce the industrial cluster in the development of regional economy nowadays. It is a necessity to accelerate the economic integration of cities and regions, and to promote their comprehensive competition, which has been proved by the successful models of regional economy at home and abroad. However, the development of the integration of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan Cities is lagging behind, for the strategy of adustrial cluster is addressed relatively late. There still exist some problems in the procedure of promoting industrial cluster. In the light of these existing problems, the paper raises some measures to solve them.

Abstract:Industrial agglomeration development has become an important form of environmental industry development,but most of environmental industrial agglomeration in China developed slowly and remained at a lower level for long time.Based on the current situation of environmental industries agglomeration in China,this paper analyzed necessity and feasibility of environmental industry clusters development in China through both perspectives of macroscopic development trend of servitization and the micro-internal industrial basis.This paper proposed that environmental industry clusters development was a new way of upgrading and reforming of China 's environmental industrial agglomeration.In the end,some policy suggestiions on the promotion of environmental industrial clusters development were also provided.

Abstract:Industrial cluster reflects a course of China economic development from the reform and opening of the economics, and it is especially observed in the rural area, which offers an explanation why since the 1980s some Chinese industries are so competitive in the world, as well as suggests successful model for inclusive development in China that allows people to highly participate in, and meanwhile to benefit from. This paper mainly focuses on the case of a freshwater pearl industrial cluster in Shanxiahu town of Zhejiang, which clearly demonstrates the evolution course of this industrial cluster, characteristics of its inclusive development and the agents of the industrial cluster formation. It is proved that the synergy of farmer entrepreneurs and government entrepreneurs promote the inclusive development of the rural economy, and facilitate the formation of industrial clusters. And the ability of local government to promote and sustain entrepreneurship and incentives to reconfigure resources to adapt to changing circumstances yields long-term economic growth. © 2011 IEEE.

Abstract:As a trend in the world,the green innovation of the industrial cluster reflects the essential requirement of the sustainable development,the energy-saving and the emission reduction,and the green economy is the key initiatives of the New-type Industrialization strategy to implement.From the perspective inspection of the green innovation,the development problems of industrial clusters in Wuhan City Circle mainly are the extensive pattern of growth triggered high consumption of resources,and the serious environmental pollution within the region,and industrial ecology associated with lag and other issues.Based on the requirements of the New-type Industrialization strategies,the industrial clusters in Wuhan City Circle should strengthen the eco-industrial cluster layout,strengthen the green technology innovation of the industry cluster,promote green system innovation of the industrial clusters,and build a virtual green innovation cluster mode.

Abstract:After briefly reviewing western industrial cluster theories,labor-intensive clusters in China are re-analyzed in a perspective of geographical dispersion of manufacturing activities.The paper illustrated that some clusters locked in low-cost competitions are/were declining;some factories are over-agglomerated;industrial concentration degrees in some clusters need increase.In the new era,manufacturing activities in these clusters relocated elsewhere.Theoretically,this new phenomenon challenges the point of view that a cluster is sticky space in slippery place.Practically,for destinations of manufacturing activities,new manufacturing zones' planning and development have been put forward;for original locality of manufacturing activities,geographical stability of upgrading clusters and development of producer services must be considered.

Abstract:By means of historical and empirical research,this paper investigates the evolution of industrial cluster and its reasons in China and finds that political stability,geographic advantages,transportation,preferential policy are the major influencing factors. The findings reveal that the political stability is the prerequisite and guarantee for industrial and economic development,and that the convenient transportation,better infrastructure,system construction and preferential policy are the efficient ways to enhance the industrial clustering in the mid-western regions.
