Abstract:With the rapid development of network, computer technology, multi -media technology and image process, the technology for video surveillance develops quickly. Especially in the field of security of residence and community. Although the 3rd generation network is under construction and intelligent mobile prevails, it needs to consider many factors to carry out video surveillance through the way of transmitting video stream, such as the limited bandwidth and unstable network status. The system uses the way of transmitting video frame to achieve its purpose instead of transmitting video stream. Because the video frame contains less data than video stream, it could adapt well to wireless network environment.

Abstract:In order to realize digitizing and networking video surveillance, a kind of excellent technology of video compression is need. In this paper, the audio video coding standard based on AVS-S was systematically introduced, including its development history, target requirements, technical features and existing algorithms. All possible facing problems when AVS-S is applied in mobile video surveillance systems were analyzed. The corresponding solutions were also provided. Especially, how to use intelligent video technology to satisfy with even higher security-monitoring targets was discussed.

Abstract:The emergence of H.264/AVC video compression standard provides better support functions for wireless network. The characteristics of limited bandwidth, high error rate of wireless channel and the constraints of computing and storage capacity of most mobile devices make the key technology of video codec in error resilience strategies, rate control, mode decision and scalable extension more important. In this paper, we first analyze the main and popular strategies in the key technology, and then we propose a method to choose and combine these strategies to validate the results and performance by experiment. Experiment shows the rational use of these technologies improves the quality of video transmission and provides reference for the video service evaluation.

Abstract:At present,the video surveillance market is in a good state of development in which the network video surveillance system has excellent performance and shows their importance and advantage day by day.This paper studies the implementation of system integration under the architecture of network video surveillance,and explains that there are some problems in the integration ap-proach based on the secondary development of SDK.Then,the paper introduces a new idea-using the unified interface standard.This paper gives a detailed introduction of two open groups who devote themselves to the network video surveillance standardization,ONVIF(Open Network Video Interface Forum)and PSIA(Physical Security Interoperability Alliance).The standardization has brought new opportunities to the industry,but the development of standards still faces huge challenges and needs further study.

Abstract:This paper designs and implements a remote digital audio/video surveillance system based on IP multicast.The solution of distributed accessing and sharing of audio-video is presented,which could effectively save the bandwidth of the network.meanwhile,this system has another characteristic,of automatically switching multicast channel and unicast one for that some routers doesn’t support or switch on IP multicast.Considering that the different transmission features of audio/video data and control data,it discusses the transmission technology adapted and gives the specific implement method of main modules.

Abstract:After surveying and forecasting the development of global and China security surveillance market,this project tries to develop a convenient remote video surveillance system,which can adapt with lower bandwidth,lower transmit delay and mostly Mac OS without rebuilding.To satisfy these characters,browser/server structure is adopted.The capture,sending,receiving and replay of video are completed by Java media framework(JMF),real-time transport protocol(RTP)and high ratio video compress arithmetic are used too. Clients can download and run surveillance Java applet without preinstalling the software.

Abstract:The principle, structure, function and engineering consideration of video surveillance system for substation are introduced. A video server based surveillance system is proposed. The video server communicates with the monitoring equipment at substation directly with several kinds of channels, and connects the monitoring host on the Ethernet with TCP/IP and multicast. The video server transmits the video, audio and control signal between them. Thus, the system's configuration is simplified and its reliability is improved, and the surveillance function can be assigned to any computer on the network.

Abstract:A NVR (Network Video Recorder) software platform is developed based on ONVIF protocol framework. ONVIF protocol is applied in the interactive communication among IP cameras, NVR server and clients, which improves the openness of devices. GWT is applied in the development of Web pages, which enables the remote control of NVR devices on various kinds of browser without any plug-in. An application of the developed NVR in substation video monitoring system shows its effectiveness and superiority.

Abstract:A wireless video surveillance system consists of three major components: 1) the video capture and preprocessing; 2) the video compression and transmission in wireless sensor networks; and 3) the video analysis at the receiving end. A myriad of research works have been dedicated to this field due to its increasing popularity in surveillance applications. This survey provides a comprehensive overview of existing state-of-the-art technologies developed for wireless video surveillance, based on the in-depth analysis of the requirements and challenges in current systems. Specifically, the physical network infrastructure for video transmission over wireless channel is analyzed. The representative technologies for video capture and preliminary vision tasks are summarized. For video compression and transmission over the wireless networks, the ultimate goal is to maximize the received video quality under the resource limitation. This is also the main focus of this survey. We classify different schemes into categories including unequal error protection, error resilience, scalable video coding, distributed video coding, and cross-layer control. Cross-layer control proves to be a desirable measure for system-level optimal resource allocation. At the receiver's end, the received video is further processed for higher-level vision tasks, and the security and privacy issues in surveillance applications are also discussed.

Abstract:AVS is a fully intellectual property of second generation source coding and decoding standard owned by China. And AVS is a set of standard system which includes system,video,audio,and media copyright management. It will be potentially and widely used in digital video and audio industry of China. This paper designs and implements an AVS-based video surveillance system,which can automatically process AVS video streams. In the AVS-based video surveillance system,the AVS coding and decoding standards are combined with other processing techniques,such as background/non-background classification,face detection and recognition,and two-level indexing structure to automatically identify the persons who appeared in the surveillance videos. The videos can be retrieved quickly by inputting texts,pictures,and video segments. The AVS-based video surveillance system can be used in many areas such as digital surveillance,access control,and etc.

Abstract:The nodes of wireless sensor network are mainly responsible for the collection and processing of the information and send to neighboring nodes. The paper presents design and development of multimedia video monitoring system based on wireless sensor network. Video monitoring system is designed to analysis and judgment of target behavior in the scene, so that let the computer correctly understanding of the target behavior analysis and the classification of the target. The wireless sensor network self-organization protocol is analyzed and studied. This paper designs a real-time transmission system of adaptive network video monitoring. FISCO can not only guarantee the arrival of a new node quickly joins, but caused only local changes in network communication structure. The results show that different structures may have different maintenance methods and energy consumption, global and local structure is better than pure global structure type.

Abstract:To meet the increasingly growing requirement on wireless surveillance for social security,we propose an approach to constructing a wireless surveillance grid using streaming media technology.Compared with traditional surveillance networks,our approach combines grid technology and streaming media technology,and is more suitable for surveillance applications which require dynamic resource sharing,collaborative problem solving,and real time video-on-demand.This paper gives the overall design and the middle-ware design of our surveillance grid,and presents a typical application based on this grid.The simulation results reveal that our approach outperforms traditional surveillance networks in terms of suspicious object detection rate,storage cost,and alarm delay.

Abstract:With the rapid development of the mobile communication technology, multimedia transmission over mobile network has become a hotspot in the monitoring area. We propose an application of the embedded Linux system and CDMA1X wireless data transmission technology in the video surveillance system. It is also a general model of wireless video capture and transmission based on embedded Linux and CDMA1X network. By using CDMA date communications technology, H.264 digital video compressed encoded and decoded algorithm and RC4 encryption mechanisms, the system can achieve efficient collection, encoding, encryption and transmission processing of the real-time video signal. It can be widely used in public security, fire protection, transportation, finance, news gathering, and other fields.
