Survey on Mobile Surveillance Video Based on AVS-S

Abstract:In order to realize network,digital,and intelligent security-monitoring,a kind of fast and efficient technology for video encoding and decoding need to be found.In this paper,the audio video coding standard based on AVS-S was systematically introduced,including its target requirements,existing algorithms,core technologies and test results.All possible problems for AVS-S to be applied in mobile video surveillance systems were analyzed.The corresponding solutions were also provided.Especially,how to use intelligent video technology to satisfy with even higher security-monitoring targets was discussed.
