Abstract:The testing instrument has been adopted the mode stru ct ure of DSP+PC(Personal Computer). The master computer adopts PC and the subordin ate computer adopts the TMS320F2812 digital signal processing chip as the core p rocessor. The technique of DSP is applied in the field of the Breaker's mechanic al characteristic testing instrument.Taking fully advantage of the controlling a bility of DSP and the viewable software design of PC. A new testing instrument t o test the mechanical characteristic of the High Voltage Breaker is proposed. It uses DSP TM320F2812 as the core unit of data processing and controlling. By the use of optoelectronic component , the instrument can transport both the Digital signals and Analog signals, which increase the ability of anti-jamming a nd stability of the system. The instrument have the function of testing, control ling,data processing, graphics displaying, database managing. Because of its ami ty interface, the instrument can be operated easily and neatly. The testing inst rument can test the main Breaker’s mechanical characteristic very well.
