Abstract:The modulation and detection of polarized light has important practical value in the field of parameters measurement using optical methods.The measurement of linear polarization parameter is the primary way of current polarization remote sensing,not the measurement of full-Stokes-vector.To the purpose of measurement and display of all-state-polarization images,a full polarization image acquisition,storage,computing and displaying system which could be used for remote sensing measurement should be constructed.The core of the whole equipment was a structure of double imaging CCDs containing a liquid crystal modulator.Through the control of the liquid crystal modulator,the phase of the incident ray could be modulated.The modulated light Was divided by the dispersion prism into two equal intensity beam (o-ray and e-ray),which were captured by the two CCDs synchronously in real time.Finally,the full Stokes vector parameters were calculated and images were output by the digital signal processor (DSP).Experimental results show that the all-state polarization images contain more image information.They will play a huge role in target identification and other applications.
