Abstract:In the field of medical application, it is of great importance to adopt digital image processing technique. Based on the characteristics of medical image, we introduced the digital image processing method to the X-ray imaging system, and developed a high resolution x-ray medical sequential image acquisition and processing system that employs image enhancer and CCD. This system consists of three basic modules, namely sequential image acquisition, data transfer and system control, and image processing. Under the control of FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), images acquired by the front-end circuit are transmitted to a PC through high speed PCI bus, and then optimized by the image processing program. The software kits, which include PCI Device Driver and Image Processing Package, are developed with Visual C++ Language based on Windows OS. In this paper, we present a general introduction to the principle and the operating procedure of X-ray Sequential Image Acquisition and Processing System, with special emphasis on the key issues of the hardware design. In addition, the context, principle, status quo and the digitizing trend of X-ray Imaging are explained succinctly. Finally, the preliminary experimental results are shown to demonstrate that the system is capable of achieving high quality X-ray sequential images.

Abstract:Objective To study the quality assurance(QA) and quality control(QC) of PACS image display device in the department of radiology equipped with PACS and radiology information system (RIS). Methods Routine maintenance and periodic calibration were performed using photometer and automatic calibration software according to American Association of Physicists in Medicine Task Group 18 (AAPM TG18) test patterns and evaluating criterion. Digital image and communication in medicine (DICOM) gray scale standard display function (GSDF) standard calibration ,maximum luminance and minimum luminance,luminance uniformity,display resolution and geometry distortion adjustment were performed quarterly on BARCO CRT displays. Results All the results were well conformed to the criteria recommended by the AAPM TG18. About 95 percents of radiological images were interpreted on the PACS diagnostic image display.Conclusion The QC program of PACS image display device is an essential to ensure high-quality in digital medical environment.

Abstract:Abstract In view of the problems of poor maintenance timeliness of nuclear power digital instrument and control system (I&C system) and the inability to evaluate the health condition of the I&C system in real time, a remote intelligent operation and maintenance strategy based on virtual DCS and Prognostic and Health Management (PHM) technology framework was proposed. The key technical information of virtual DCS and PHM is introduced. Combining with the technical characteristics of digital I&C system of nuclear power plant (NPP), the remote intelligent operation and maintenance framework combining virtual and actual object is constructed. With respect to the actual I&C system, virtual DCS was established to realize condition based maintenance for its flexibility and predictive characteristics. At the same time, the actual system data can be collected and stored through the I&C system data center, which will be the data basis for the remote monitoring of the site. Then, five functions of remote monitoring, fault diagnosis, condition prediction, intelligent maintenance and resource allocation and management are described. The key technologies and data resources needed to realize the scheme are analyzed. Finally, according to the strategy, a prototype with remote intelligent operation and maintenance function is built on the basis of a nuclear power platform, which realizes the strategy and provides feasibility guarantee for remote intelligent maintenance of I&C equipment.

Abstract:The enormous number of studies performed at the Nuclear Medicine Department of University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) generates a huge amount PET/CT images daily. A DICOM workstation had been used as "mini-PACS" to route all studies, which is historically proven to be slow due to various reasons. However, replacing the workstation with a commercial PACS server is not only cost inefficient; and more often, the PACS vendors are reluctant to take responsibility for the final integration of these components. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an alternative imaging archiving and communication system called Enterprise Imaging Repository (EIR). EIR consists of two distinguished components: an image processing daemon and a user friendly web interface. EIR not only reduces the overall waiting time of transferring a study from the modalities to radiologists' workstations, but also provides a more preferable presentation.

Abstract:Research on performance evaluation system based on online monitoring of Internet of things technology, taking medical imaging equipment as an example. Build the performance management platform of the Internet of things through four aspects: data acquisition, network architecture, CPU, and display output. Select 100 medical imaging devices in clinical use in the hospital and divide them into the control group (50 sets) and the observation group (50 sets) according to different management modes. The control group adopts conventional performance management mode, and the observation group implements Internet of things performance management mode. Compare the differences of equipment operation performance, cost-effectiveness, and service effect between the two groups. The experimental results showed that the equipment utilization rate, operation rate, inspection schedule balance, and technician schedule balance of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0.05). The quarterly cost-benefit increase of x-ray examination equipment, CT equipment, Mr equipment, interventional radiotherapy equipment, color ultrasound instrument, and nuclear medicine equipment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group ( P < 0.05). The satisfaction of imaging doctors, technicians, engineers, and patients with the equipment service quality of the observation group was higher than that of the control group; the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0.05). It is proved that the Internet of things performance management platform of medical imaging equipment can solve the problems of untimely information collection and unscientific scheduling during equipment operation, realize the real-time display and statistics of equipment operation performance, and improve the operation efficiency and service level of medical imaging equipment.

Abstract:Establishing a system that can effectively evaluate medical endoscopes in terms of product functions, technical indicators, product stability, and service levels has far-reaching significance for promoting the continuous development of the endoscope industry. We propose a data separation architecture for the medical endoscope intelligent services, which consists of the access layer, front-end UI, display layer, business layer, data layer, database and basic settings layer. The system established supports progressive intelligent data management and two-way expansibility, which realizes multi-user management, evaluation data acquisition, evaluation data analysis, evaluation data interaction, display and publication. The data separating architecture enhances the oriented endoscope intelligent services with the superiority feature of efficiency, reliability, and high technical performance and service ability. Extensive testing cases validate that the data integrity, consistency, response speed, response accuracy and data interaction can meet the design requirements, and provide users with more humanized and intelligent medical endoscope management services.

Abstract:Artificial intelligence has developed rapidly and intelligent equipment has improved in the field of urban rail transit. The computer maintenance management system (CMMS) is still used, but cannot satisfy requirements from the internal systems of intelligent equipment. In the intranet, CMMS is only a platform processing based on the Web including information published, reviewed and task approval. However, it has simple logic and high manual repetition rate, which is similar with the electronic data processing system (EDPS) in the early 1950s. Based on the existing CMMS of urban rail transit, the paper analyzes the system requirements from the perspective of multiple scenarios including users, application, data, technology, and management. The information management system of intelligent maintenance equipment accelerates information integration and flow between multiple systems to create intelligent interaction experience between people and information resources. Therefore, it meets the requirements of intelligent maintenance equipment and promotes management efficiency.

Employed the FXS-160,this paper describes an industrial Micro-PACS based on DICOM, realizing the acquisition?communication of radiation images in the industry. It provides an expandable and flexible platform for industrial radiation imaging. It is a beneficial experiment to the foundation of industrial PACS.

Abstract:Medical X-ray examination has become the main source of public radiation, public acceptance of medical X-ray examination of the frequency at home and abroad are showing rapid growth, in which the CT examination of the organization has reached or exceeded the level of increased tissue cancer. This paper describes the development of medical CT irradiation dose information management system based on the LabVIEW graphical programming environment, including the framework structure of the whole system, the specific implementation process of the main module. At the same time, the mean value of the examination of the site was obtained by the application, and the cumulative dose of the patients were examined. The data can be used to supervise the X-ray examination of the X-ray examination, also can help the management of the radiation department to carry out the reasonable use of the dose.

Abstract:With the continuous development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, remote monitoring and management of smart electrical equipment have become more important and convenient. This paper explores the methods of remote monitoring and management of smart electrical equipment based on IoT technology, analyzing its advantages in improving equipment operation efficiency, reducing operation and maintenance costs, and enhancing safety. The research is validated and illustrated through examples and data. Practical applications in an automobile manufacturing plant demonstrate the significant effects of remote monitoring and management technology for smart electrical equipment. In implementation, sensors are installed on the equipment to collect real-time operational status and energy consumption data, which are transmitted to remote servers via the internet for analysis and processing. This enables real-time monitoring, remote diagnosis, and remote control of the equipment. The case study shows that remote monitoring and management significantly reduce equipment failure rates, improve production efficiency, and lower maintenance costs while enhancing safety. These results provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the remote monitoring and management of smart electrical equipment, showcasing the immense potential and prospects of IoT technology in industrial applications.

Abstract:The digital instrument control system of nuclear power plant is the nerve center of nuclear power plant, and its RAMS characteristics are directly related to the overall safety of nuclear power plant. As a large complex engineering system, the RAMS management of digital instrument control system in nuclear power plant is very important to improve its RAMS characteristics. In the field of nuclear power plant in our country, the research on how to carry out RAMS management in the digital instrument control system of nuclear power plant is still in its infancy, and there is no standard or guideline that can guide specific work. In this paper, based on the theory of IEC 60300-1,the reference made in aerospace, railway RAMS management achievements, and combined with the control system independent of the RAMS in the process of practical experience in the nuclear power plant digital instrument CETC company, put forward a set of suitable for nuclear power plant digital control system life cycle activities of the RAMS management system, including the RAMS management mechanism the RAMS control scheme and RAMS scheme, the operation and management of the evaluation program, practical results show that the degree of standardization of RAMS activity increased significantly, the work quality is guaranteed, the most valuable defect recognition rate increased dramatically, reduce rework late, reduce the life cycle cost, and has good popularization value.
