Abstract:The history of PACS is short in years but already long in achievements. The idea of a picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and a filmless hospital was created in the early 1980s. In a PACS environment, images are acquired, read, communicated, and stored digitally [H. This study was performed to evaluate the situation, problem, and healthcare integrating encountered in the implementation of a picture archiving and communication system (PACS) in various clinical settings in the radiology department and hospital in People's Republic of China.
