Abstract:The creation and transfer of knowledge are a basis of competitive advantage in firms.This article generalizes and integrates the extant literatures examining the knowledge transfer.It analyzes the connotation of knowledge,the definition of knowledge transfer,and the theoretical basis and perspectives,process,domain,measurement and evaluation of knowledge transfer.Based on the review,the paper proposes some limitations and future orientations,and specifies the further directions of knowledge transfer.

Abstract:How to effectively acquire and transfer knowledge is a very important problem for everybody.Knowledge acquisition and knowledge transferring hve been regarded as a natural behavior but not been studied from a special and systematic perspective.From the author's pint of view,both the knowledge acquisition and transferring could be managed.The knowledge source model has been put forward in the paper which consists of four methods as experiencing,communicating,reading and reflecting.The specific steps and key points for using each kind of method are developed to improve both the efficiency and effectivieness of the knowledge acquisition and transferring.Based on the knowledge source model,two processes for managing both the knowledge acquisition and transferring have been developed.

Abstract:Knowledge transfer can provide an organization with comparative competitive edge,and organizational learning may enhance its adaptive ability to environments.Their mutual efforts support organizational sustainable competitive advantages,This paper reviews the literatures of overlapping knowledge,knowledge transfer,and learning capacity,and analyzes the characteristic relationships between overlapping knowledge and knowledge transfer,and organization learning.The model of these relationships is made up of knowledge ecological perspective,and further we demonstrate the proposition that overlapping knowledge is an adjustor of the optimization of the efficiency of knowledge transfer and learning ability.Lastly,the management implications are concluded.

Abstract:Knowledge Transfer in the enterprise knowledge management is an important link,and it is also an effective way to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.This paper reviews and analyzes the relative studies about the definition of knowledge transfer and makes a synthesis according to the four factors:Knowledge Characteristics;the subject of knowledge transfer;the media of knowledge transfer and the context of knowledge transfer.Based on that,the paper puts forward the notion that the research on the factors can be discussed in two aspects:the inside of the organization and the outside of the organization.At last,further research directions of knowledge transfer are also presented.

Abstract:With the development of the internationalization of Chinese enterprises, more and more Chinese MNCs occur in the global market, and face challenge and competition from giant foreign counterparts. Therefore, the knowledge transfer strategy is crucial to the establishment of sustainable competitive advantage and the global market position. Furthermore, the knowledge quality assurance mechanism plays ' a critical role to the knowledge transfer strategy. However, few theoretical and empirical researches focus on it. According to the literature review, the author points out the limitation of the past researches on MNCs knowledge transfer, and the future research directions. The author also establishes a model on knowledge quality assurance mechanism of MNCs knowledge transfer strategy, and draws out related hypotheses concerning the model, in or-der to conduct further empirical study.
