Abstract:EDA techniques are widely used in circuit simulation and design,and the Multisim software is favoured by users for its rich virtual devices.There no model about the magnetic-coupled-coils in Multisim 9.0.A modeling method and its parameter calculation method are presented in this paper.It is verified by test results,PSpice simulation and Multisim 10.0 simulation.The method proposed in this paper is also used in the applications of dual-tuned-resonant circuit and the design of induction coupling no-touch power transfer system.

Abstract:Abstract Analog electronic technology is a core basic course of electronic specialty in colleges and universities. It has the characteristics of complex theory, abstract content, difficult to explain by teachers and difficult to understand by students. This article mainly discusses some typical applications of Multisim virtual simulation software in the teaching of analog electronic technology courses, and analyzes the impact on classroom teaching methods. The practice shows that the application of simulation software in the teaching of simulation electronic technology can solve the problems of insufficient experimental teaching site and potential safety hazards. It can help students to understand abstract theory and master related knowledge. It can help to organize lively and efficient classroom teaching and promote the quality and efficiency of classroom teaching.

Abstract:Abstract With the rapid development of electronic technology, the filter circuit has been widely used in various occasions. Therefore, based on the study of various analog filter circuit principles, this paper users the Multisim simulation platform to design the corresponding low-pass and band-pass filters. In order to verify the performance of the filter circuit, the normal signal, noise signal and filter output signal are respectively observed by oscilloscope after noise is introduced, and then the performance is analyzed according to the waveform and parameters. The experimental results show that all the designed filters can achieve good filtering effect.

Most efforts were focused on electromagnetic-circuital co-simulation and electromagnetic-thermal co-simulation. A brief introduction of related theories like governing equations, numerical methods, and coupling mechanisms is also included.

Abstract:Electrical-thermal co-simulation based on finite element method and massively parallel scheme which can perform on a supercomputer is proposed. Accuracy of the in-house high-performance computing scheme is validated by comparing the simulated results with commercial software. Abstract:Frequency divider circuit is the basic circuit in digital logic circuit. The circuit function is to divide or drop the frequency of the high frequency signal to get the lower frequency signal for a given frequency signal by division. On the Multisim software platform, using different design methods, as the foundation of middle scale integration chip 74LS161, design even frequency divider, odd frequency divider circuit and (N- 0.5) frequency divider circuit respectively. Each circuit design principle and method is illustrated and simulated. The results showed that the design is correct and conform to the proposed requirement. Experimental teaching applications based on Multisim software can improve design efficiency and reduce development time of design systems.

Abstract:This paper introduces how to apply simulation EDA software Multisim10 in teaching one of the diffucult points, i.e., the sine wave RC oscillator circuit. The paper analyses the process of establishing oscillation using the nonlinear component diode and JFET as fixed amplitude device in combination with Multisim 10, it also analyses the principle of phase-shifted sine wave oscillator circuit. The introduction of simulation process motivates the enthusiasm of the students in learning, and enhances the students' understanding of the knowledge of the theory.

Abstract:This paper presents the simulation laboratory platform, including the advanced examples of the NI Multisim environment assigned for an electronic engineering education, a digital signal processing especially. A methodology of teaching of the digital signal processing for both electrical and electronic specializations requires the use a virtual platform, that creates a bridge between theoretical lectures in classes and practical application in the design, prototyping, and testing of electrical and electronic circuits in laboratories. In the article, exemplary solutions of the Multisim applications used in classes of the digital signal processing during the engineering courses at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Gdynia Maritime University are presented and discussed. The application of the presented teaching methodology gives excellent didactic results. It indicates that the experimental teaching based on development platforms such as the Multisim provides students with a comprehensive and creative approach to learning and knowledge transfer during the theoretical lectures. It is also a good training for work with real electrical and electronic systems.

A Novel Integrated Approach for Simulation of Electromagnetic Susceptibility Problem

Abstract:This paper presents a systematic approach for electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS) analysis of high speed circuit with the presence of an electromagnetic interference. With numerical analysis, the effect of external electromagnetic noise on the interconnect is characterized and modeled as equivalent current source. At the same time, the macromodel of Internet subnetwork is constructed through vector fitting method. Then, the resultant macromodel and equivalent current source are ready to be synthesized into SPICE-compatible circuit simulator to efficiently expedite the transient analysis of the hybrid interconnects and lumped circuit elements with the external electromagnetic interference. Numerical example exhibits that this systematic approach is a computationally efficient method to solve the electromagnetic susceptibility problems, in which the external electromagnetic interference effects are fully considered.

Abstract:SPICE originally developed at the Electronics Reserach Laboratory of the University of California , Berkeley(1975), is a general purpose program for circuit simulation, which is the basis of EDA technology. Most application programs for circuit simulation are based on SPICE, such as Multisim. But SPICE does not model signal straight-forward with time, so limiting its applications. Time data could be extracted with the method introduced in this article. The nonlinear dependent source and time variable are used to model various waveform sources. Multisim is used in the article which is considered as a real interactive circuit simulation software. The timer component and signal components created are saved in the user's library. A typical example of circuit simulation using the created signal source is included.

Abstract:Since the APF controller is designed to track the harmonics,it should have perfect performance in wide frequency range.Generally speaking,raising the sampling rate can enhance the performance of the system.The faster the sampling rate is,the closer the performance of the digital controller is to that of the analog controller.Multisampling can faster the sampling rate without raising the carrier frequency at the same time.So it can be made good use of.To weaken the bad effect of the digital process,we can use the multisampling.The experimental results prove that the multisampling can enhance the performance of parallel APF.
