Abstract:Since the last six months,Mr.Dong Xuewen et al. have published several articles as a comprehensive criticism of "Practical Ontological Aesthetics," especially its philosophical foundation,which are advocated by Zhu Liyuan et al. Against their criticism,this issue now publishes four articles as a response with counter-criticism. Zhu Liyuan and Liu Xuguang's "Heidegger Highlights the Intrinsic Ontological Dimension of Marx's Theory of Practice" expounds the objective theoretical relation between Heidegger and Marx's ontological theory in respect of reasoning and method;proves that Heidegger's ontology has opened and highlighted the intrinsic ontological dimension of Marx's theory of practice;at the same time discriminates the fundamental differences between the two and points out the major shortcoming of Heidegger's ontology. Zhu Zhirong's "On the Value of Practical Ontological Aesthetics" argues that the practical ontological aesthetics understands and interprets the category of practice from the ontological dimension;breaks the subject-object dichotomy way of thinking of traditional epistemology,replaces the ready-made theory with the becoming theory,and to some extent develops the practical aesthetics and Marxist aesthetics;as thus have important value;points out that Dong Xuewen and others' criticism against practical aesthetics in political meaning is not in conformity with the actual circumstances. Kou Pengcheng's "Theory and Practical Foundation of Practical Ontological Aesthetics" positively elaborates that the proposition of practical ontological aesthetics is resulting from the ontological shift of aesthetic paradigm and the need of the times,which has a profound theoretical and practical foundation;discriminates the Practice in practical ontology from the Practice in western existentialism from Kierkegaard on,pointing out the unique academic character of the practical ontological aesthetics. Sun Shicong's "Reflection of Theoretical Proposition and Critique of Adorno" puts forward discussion towards Zhao Xuewen's critical reflection on the proposition of practical ontology,pointing out that due to the lack of basic clarification of Adorno's critical perspective and the consequent subjective understanding on Heidegger's ontology,Zhao Xuewen's reflection on the theoretical proposition neither truly returns to the problem domain of Marxist aesthetics,nor really understands the theoretical implication of the proposition of practical ontology.
