Abstract:A new type of pneumatic compression brake system of mechanical press is put forward.This new brake system not noly has brake function in the slider dwon stroke but also has balance function in the slider up stroke.The double deck cylinder is desgined and worked out,the order of entering air and exhaust of the two deck cylinder is analyzed.The computer monitor and control system of pneumatic compression brake of mechanical press is set up,and relevant control softwares are programmed.The eight main parameters of influencing brake result are point out,a set of optimal parameters is obtained after lots of trial and error on the JH-23 mechanical press.It proves that this brake way is feasible and has potential pratical engineering application.
