Abstract:Two integers in a line(circle) are called q-separate if their difference is q mod n.First,it is proved that n+q-qkkdenotes the number of k-subsets of the set {1,2,…n} in a line without being less than or equal to q separation.Then,it is proved that the total number of subsets of the set {1,2,…n} in a line without less than or equal to q separation is F~((q))_(n+q+q),where generalized Fibonacci numbers F~((q))_(n+q+1) is defined as F~((q))_1=F~((q))_2=…=F~((q))_(q+1)=1,F~((q))_(j+q+1)=F~((q))_j+F~((q))_(j+q)(j1).In addition,the recurrences relation of the number of k-subsets of the set {1,2,… n} in a line without q_1,q_2 separation,for some small integers q_i,is found.
Sequences of odd length in strict partitions II: the $2$-measure and refinements of Euler's theorem

Abstract:The number of sequences of odd length in strict partitions (denoted as $\mathrm{sol}$), which plays a pivotal role in the first paper of this series, is investigated in different contexts, both new and old. Namely, we first note a direct link between $\mathrm{sol}$ and the $2$-measure of strict partitions when the partition length is given. This notion of $2$-measure of a partition was introduced quite recently by Andrews, Bhattacharjee, and Dastidar. We establish a $q$-series identity in three ways, one of them features a Franklin-type involuion. Secondly, still with this new partition statistic $\mathrm{sol}$ in mind, we revisit Euler's partition theorem through the lens of Sylvester-Bessenrodt. Two new bivariate refinements of Euler's theorem are established, which involve notions such as MacMahon's 2-modular Ferrers diagram, the Durfee side of partitions, and certain alternating index of partitions that we believe is introduced here for the first time.

Abstract:The famous partition theorem of Euler states that partitions of $n$ into distinct parts are equinumerous with partitions of $n$ into odd parts. Another famous partition theorem due to MacMahon states that the number of partitions of $n$ with all parts repeated at least once equals the number of partitions of $n$ where all parts must be even or congruent to $3 \pmod 6$. These partition theorems were further extended by Glaisher, Andrews, Subbarao, Nyirenda and Mugwangwavari. In this paper, we utilize the Chinese remainder theorem to prove a comprehensive partition theorem that encompasses all existing partition theorems. We also give a natural generalization of Euler's theorem based on a special complete residue system. Furthermore, we establish interesting congruence connections between the partition function $p(n)$ and related partition functions.

Abstract:In this short, we study sums of the shape $\sum_{n\leqslant x}{f([x/n])}/{[x/n]},$ where $f$ is Euler totient function $\varphi$, Dedekind function $\Psi$, sum-of-divisors function $\sigma$ or the alternating sum-of-divisors function $\beta.$ We improve previous results when $f=\varphi$ and derive new estimates when $f=\Psi, f=\sigma$ and $f=\beta.$

Abstract:The primary focus of this paper is overpartitions, a type of partition that plays a significant role in $q$-series theory. In 2006, Treneer discovered an explicit infinite family of congruences of overpartitions modulo $5$. In our research, we have identified explicit infinite families of congruences of overpartitions modulo $3,7,11$. This work reveals the connection between overpartitions and half-integral modular forms.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish the solvability for integral boundary value problems of fractional differential equation with the nonlinear term dependent in a fractional derivative of lower order on infinite intervals. The existence and uniqueness of solutions for the boundary value problem are proved by means of the Schauder's fixed point theorem and Banach's contraction mapping principle. Abstract:Strict partitions are enumerated with respect to the weight, the number of parts, and the number of sequences of odd length. We write this trivariate generating function as a double sum $q$-series. Equipped with such a combinatorial set-up, we investigate a handful of double sum identities appeared in recent works of Cao-Wang, Wang-Wang, Wei-Yu-Ruan, Andrews-Uncu, Chern, and Wang, finding partition theoretical interpretations to all of these identities, and in most cases supplying Franklin-type involutive proofs. This approach dates back more than a century to P. A. MacMahon's interpretations of the celebrated Rogers-Ramanujan identities, and has been further developed by Kurşungöz in the last decade.

Abstract:The periodic problem of evolution inclusion is studied and its results are used to establish existence theorems of periodic solutions of a class of semi-linear differential inclusion. Also existence theorem of the extreme solutions and the strong relaxation theorem are given for this class of semi-linear differential inclution. An application to some feedback control systems is discussed.

Abstract:The isomorphism of polynomials (IP), one of the hard problems in multivariate public key cryptography induces an equivalence relation on a set of systems of polynomials. Then the enumeration problem of IP consists of counting the numbers of different classes and counting the cardinality of each class that is highly related to the scale of key space for a multivariate public key cryptosystem. In this paper we show the enumeration of the equivalence classes containing $\sum\nolimits_{i = 0}^{n - 1} {a_i X^{2q^i } } $ when char$(\mathbb{F}_q )$ = 2, which implies that these polynomials are all weak IP instances. Moreover, we study the cardinality of an equivalence class containing the binomial $aX^{2q^i } + bX^{2q^j } (i \ne j)$ over $\mathbb{F}_{q^n } $ without the restriction that char($(\mathbb{F}_q )$) = 2, which gives us a deeper understanding of finite geometry as a tool to investigate the enumeration problem of IP.

Some explicit monotone iterative schemes for approximating the extreme positive solutions and the unique positive solution are constructed.

Abstract:For $x\ge0$ let $\pi(x)$ be the number of primes not exceeding $x$. The asymptotic behaviors of the prime-counting function $\pi(x)$ and the $n$-th prime $p_n$ have been studied intensively in analytic number theory. Surprisingly, we find that $\pi(x)$ and $p_n$ have many combinatorial properties which should not be ignored. In this paper we pose 60 open problems on combinatorial properties of primes (including connections between primes and partition functions) for further research. For example, we conjecture that for any integer $n>1$ one of the $n$ numbers $\pi(n),\pi(2n),...,\pi(n^2)$ is prime; we also conjecture that for any integer $n>6$ there exists a prime $p
Five Guidelines for Partition Analysis with Applications to Lecture Hall-type Theorems

Abstract:Five simple guidelines are proposed to compute the generating function for the nonnegative integer solutions of a system of linear inequalities. In contrast to other approaches, the emphasis is on deriving recurrences. We show how to use the guidelines strategically to solve some nontrivial enumeration problems in the theory of partitions and compositions. This includes a strikingly different approach to lecture hall-type theorems, with new $q$-series identities arising in the process. For completeness, we prove that the guidelines suffice to find the generating function for any system of homogeneous linear inequalities with integer coefficients. The guidelines can be viewed as a simplification of MacMahon's partition analysis with ideas from matrix techiniques, Elliott reduction, and ``adding a slice''.

On the construction of a family of sets of positive integers closed under taking subsets

Abstract:In the several contexts such as combinatorial number theory, families of sets of positive integers closed under taking subsets have been investigated. %To investigate some property of an infinite set of positive integers, Then it is sometimes useful to give bijections between the set of the one-sided infinite sequences on the alphabet set $\{0,1\}$ and such a family of sets. The most typical example is the family of sum-free sets. Although such a kind of families covers a large class of families of sets, there are only a few considerations on bijections for the case where the sum-free property is replaced by another property. In this paper, we explicitly give a bijection and its inverse between the set of one-sided infinite sequences on the alphabet set $\{0,1\}$ and a family of sets which may be contained in a class of families closed under taking subsets. Moreover, we show that some extremal property in a particular family of sets is characterized by a discrete dynamical system based on this kind of bijections.

Abstract:Under certain integrability and geometric conditions, we prove division theorems for the exact sequences of holomorphic vector bundles and improve the results in the case of Koszul complex. By introducing a singular Hermitian structure on the trivial bundle, our results recover Skoda's division theorem for holomorphic functions on pseudoconvex domains in complex Euclidean spaces.
