Abstract:In this paper, we study the partial regularity of the solutions for the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations. We first prove a criterion of local Hölder continuous of the suitable weak solutions of the Boussinesq equations, and show that one-dimensional Hausdorff measure of the singular point set is zero. Secondly, we present a local uniform gradient estimate on the suitable weak solutions and assert that the local behavior of the solution can be dominated by some scaled quantities, such as the scaled local L3-norm of the velocity. Besides, when the initial data v0 and θ0 decay sufficiently rapidly at ∞, the distribution of the regular point set of the suitable weak solutions is also considered. Based on it, one can find that MHD equations are more similar to Navier–Stokes equations than Boussinesq equations. Finally, we give a local regularity criterion of the suitable weak solutions near the boundary.

Abstract:We present new interior regularity criteria for suitable weak solutions of the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations in terms of the velocity field. The result means that the velocity field plays a more important role than the magnetic field in the local regularity theory of the MHD equations. This also gives a positive answer to the problem proposed by Kang and Lee in [J. Differential Equations, 247 (2009), pp. 2310-2330].

Abstract:We prove that any weak solution (u,b) of three-dimensional incompressible Magneto-hydrodynamics equations is regular if u∈L∞(0,T;L3(R3)) and b∈L∞(0,T;VMO−1(R3)). Abstract:Several regularity criterions of Leray-Hopf weak solutions $u$ to the 3D Navier-Stokes equations are obtained. The results show that a weak solution $u$ becomes regular if the gradient of velocity component $\nabla_{h}{u}$ (or $ \nabla{u_3}$) satisfies the additional conditions in the class of $L^{q}(0,T; \dot{B}_{p,r}^{s}(\mathbb{R}^{3}))$, where $\nabla_{h}=(\partial_{x_{1}},\partial_{x_{2}})$ is the horizontal gradient operator. Besides, we also consider the anisotropic regularity criterion for the weak solution of Navier-Stokes equations in $\mathbb{R}^3$. Finally, we also get a further regularity criterion, when give the sufficient condition on $\partial_3u_3$.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the 3D incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations and establish several logarithmically improved regularity criteria in the homogeneous Besov space. These criteria are based on certain assumptions made in the velocity field and pressure, respectively. The first result solely based on the velocity field indicates that the velocity field plays a dominant role in determining the regularity of weak solutions, when compared with the magnetic field.

Abstract:We shall consider the regularity for 3D MHD equations in this paper. When the velocity field is bounded in a critical space and the magnetic field satisfies a weaker condition, it can be concluded that the weak solution of MHD equation is a smooth solution. We prove that the weak solutions are Hölder continuous if the velocity field belongs to some Lorentz space and the magnetic field belongs to a bigger space than Lorentz space, that is the magnetic field satisfies an even weaker condition than the velocity filed. Our main mathematical tool is the backward uniqueness theory for the parabolic operators established by Escauriaza, Seregin and $$\check{\text {S}}$$ ver $$\acute{\text {a}}$$ k.

Abstract:We consider the regularity of weak solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations in R-3. Let u be a weak solution in R-3 x (0, T), w = curl u, and w = (w(1), w(2), 0). It is proved that u becomes a classical solution if w epsilon L-q (0, T; B-r(0)sigma), for 2/q + 3/r = 2, 3/2 < r <= infinity, and sigma <= 2r/3. Abstract:For the initial boundary problem of the incompressible MHD equations in a bounded domain with general curved boundary in 3D with the general Navier-slip boundary conditions for the velocity field and the perfect conducting condition for the magnetic field, we establish the uniform regularity of conormal Sobolev norms and Lipschitz norms to addressing the anisotropic regularity of tangential and normal directions, which enable us to prove the vanishing dissipation limit as the viscosity and the magnetic diffusion coefficients tend to zero. We overcome the difficulties caused by the intricate interaction of boundary curvature, velocity field, and magnetic fields and resolve the issue caused by the problem that the viscosity and the magnetic diffusion coefficients are not required to be equal.

Abstract:The purpose of the presented article is to develop some new global regularity criteria for a magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) fluid flowing in a saturated porous medium. The effect of the porous medium, over the fluid flow, is characterized by a Darcy–Forchheimer law. The fluid, under study, is considered as one-dimensional and flowing in the x– direction with velocity component u. In addition, such a component is assumed to vary with the y– direction, i.e. u ( y ). Then, given the vorticity function w=-∂u∂y , such that ‖w‖BMO2 is sufficiently small, we develop the regularity criteria under the scope of the L 2 space. We extend our results to the spaces L s , where s > 2. Afterward, we prove the Liouville-type theorem for the MHD Darcy–Forchheimer flow equation. Eventually, we obtain some characterization about the asymptotic behaviour of solutions, particularly, the nonuniform convergence in L 2 for t→∞ .

Abstract:This paper studies the three-dimensional density-dependent incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. First, a regularity criterion is proved which allows the initial density to contain vacuum. Then we establish another blow-up criterion in the Besov space B˙∞,20 when the positive initial density is bounded away from zero. Third, we prove a global nonexistence result for initial density with high decreasing at infinity. Fourth, we obtain a regularity criterion to the density-dependent incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations in a bounded domain. Finally, we also give some remarks on the regularity criteria for the three-dimensional full compressible magnetohydrodynamic equations in a bounded domain and for the incompressible homogeneous magnetohydrodynamic equation in the whole space R3.

We study three cases: incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with zero viscosity in a bounded domain, incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with zero resistivity in a bounded domain, and the density-dependent magnetohydrodynamic equations with zero heat conductivity and zero resistivity in the whole space [Formula: see text]. Our results extend and improve some known results.
