Abstract:A network monitoring system of Rockwell laboratory based on B/S mode is developed,using OPC communication technology and Web developing technology.As OPC applications are mostly based on C/S mode,data communication of the traditional network monitoring system based on B/S mode is a multi-layer communication process,which includes OPC server,OPC client and real-time/history database.As a consequence of the traditional system,there are some problemsfor real-time communication.To solve this problem,the system presentes a new development framework to achieve real-time communication with the control objects.The user can monitor the running status of the devices in real time through the browser,and control the devices without using the programming software of Rockwell.
