Abstract:The construction of librarian team is the cornerstone of the stable development of librarianship. Looking back on 40 years of development, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Library has always focused on closely the talent strategy for university development, running through two keywords of academic and innovative in the construction of librarian team. Under the continuous optimization of the organization and the librarian team, a path of the construction of an innovative librarian team has been established. Specifically, it includes a concept, three vision requirements, a set of system, and four core abilities. Through the path, a high level librarian team can be cultivated, in order to achieve a standard, smart and special information knowledge service center that matches the world’s first-class university.
