Progress in Environment Friendly Halogen-Free Flame Retardant Used for Polycarbonate

Abstract:The development on halogen-free flame retardant used for polycarbonate at home and abroad in recent years,including phosphorus flame retardant,aromatic sulfonates flame retardant,silicone flame retardant,boron flame retardant,inorganic flame retardants,nano-retardant and other flame retardant systems is reviewed.The flame retardant mechanisms of these systems are briefly introduced,and their advantages and disadvantages are also evaluated.Finally,the research and development trend of flame retardant for PC is presented.
