Abstract:The development of political civilization should fall in line with eco-civilization. By absorbing the system theory in green politics and the principles in ecology,political ecosystem integrates the natural world and human society into an interactive and constantly developing ecosystem wherein interactions and linkages among different systems have been progressively reinforced. This way,the ecologicalization of political life will gain momentum. From the perspective of ecology,the system of political civilization could be taken as an ecological sphere centering on the core value of human freedom and liberalization,characterized by harmonious political and social life. In our era of eco-civilization,a harmonious political ecosystem should be established to promote the sustainable development of political civilization.
