Abstract:Accordion performance is an emotional art, and the generation of emotions is inseparable from human psychological activities. It has a great relationship with the performance of music and has a great impact on the performance of the performance. The performance of the accordion is a process of psychological perception, understanding, imagination, experience, and emotion. It not only shows the true creative intention and emotion of the "original work" but also integrates it into the individual characteristics of the individual. In the creation, the true artistic vitality is given to each note, thereby enriching the musical composition, thus showing its unique charm. Therefore, this paper proposes a study on the emotional expression and playing psychology of accordion playing. In the end, the performance of class A students was significantly better than that of class B students, while more students in class B scored within 50-60 points, more students in class A scored within 90-100 points, therefore, the contrast is large. The average score of class A students is 80.125, and the average score of class B students is 71.45. The highest score for A can be as high as 98, the lowest score is 58, and the lowest score in class B is 51. It can be seen that having a high performance psychological quality and the ability to express emotions can achieve a good effect on accordion performance.

Abstract:The article emphases the importance of training a teacher-musician, improving the quality of his education by achieving the necessary competencies, one of which is instrumental performance. The basic conditions that affect the development of performing skills of the future teacher are analyzed in the work, which are mastering strong knowledge from the cycle of cultural, musicological and psychological and pedagogical disciplines, closely related to the certain historical period, society, way of life, socio-historical conditions, creative environment, etc., which form the basis of the performing culture of the teacher and instrumentalist. The main factors of development and improvement of performing skills are highlighted, which include technologies of sheet music reading and study of accordion instrumental works. The concept of "intonation", which has been the subject of research by many scientists, musicologists, composers, performers, is described as one of the most effective ways for a composer to create a musical image through which the whole mechanism of reproducing the content and emotional depth of musical works. The article contains examples of "deciphering" intonation by expressive properties in the process of interpreting the work, when the performer becomes a co-author of the composer, penetrating the musical image through knowledge of styles, genres, expressive properties of the system and its tendencies, intervals, chords, harmonic sequences, expressive properties of intonation in the whole complex of performing.

Abstract:The author of the article reveals the problem of developing the emotional stability of future music art teachers in high school. It has been determined that the specified problem is relevant for the profession of a musician, which requires endurance both while learning musical pieces and when performing them in public. Analyzing the source base, the author defines the concept of "emotional stability" as a component of emotional intelligence, which is a personality quality, formed in conditions of extreme activities. It implements through emotional intellect of a personality and provides a person's ability to succeed, withstand significant intellectual, volitional and emotional stress, and at the same time to maintain the state of psychophysical balance. According to V. Dryndin's research, the following factors determine the state of a musician's stiffness: lack of a performer’s mental mobilization skills; insufficient formation for public performances; the influence of high personal anxiety and, as a consequence, reduced emotional stability; uncertainty if the performance program is memorized by heart well enough; the effect of a fixed reflex to the inevitable fright before the performance and its negative impact on performance; targeting of the internal attitude at self-esteem of one's own personality instead of performing a piece in the required manner; lack of self-regulation skills (the presence of shyness, inability to manage one’s own emotional state); awareness of manifestation of negative emotions (hand tremors, palpitations, sweating, sluggishness or tension of a performer’s apparatus, etc.). That is why, development of self-control will help to regulate the mental state of a musician and create a musical image under the control of his or her consciousness. Also in the process of training a vocalist for public performance it is important to learn the language of emotions and the ability to be emotionally expressive in speech and singing. Emotions in singing affect the density and brightness of voice timber, vocal position, resonance, nuance and kind of singing vibrato, semantic intonation, activity of articulatory organs and the way of sound production. Therefore, each emotional state of a performer is embodied in the unity of a complex of acoustic features and effective expressiveness. Thus, the professional becoming of a future musician in the process of vocal training is impossible without the engaging of emotional sphere and developing a high level of emotional stability, since emotional experiences while performing musical pieces affect the psychophysiological state of a musician.

Abstract:Background and Aim: Performing and teaching Guzheng is very popular in China. Some musicians create many songs. Scholars have tried to create new exercises and explain the qualities of songs for Guzheng. Hai Zhi Bolan is another song that is recognized for its beautiful aesthetic, for the song to be published, have a better understanding of the song. This article therefore aims to study the aesthetics of the Hai Zhi Bolan song, which was composed with the Guzheng according to the study of Chinese aesthetics. Materials and Methods: The researcher opted for document review due to the presence of multiple authors. When encountering ambiguous or uncertain matters not documented, they conducted interviews with five artists and famous academics, utilizing appointments to address any unresolved issues. Subsequently, conduct a review and deliver a comprehensive descriptive analysis. Data collection and analysis were conducted from August 2021 to November 2023. Results: 'Hai Zhi Bolan' played on Wang Ruiwon's Guzheng is made up of 24 poems about motion and stillness. 'Hai Zhi Bolan' on Wang Ruiwon's Guzheng has 24 motion-and-stillness poems. The 10-minute tune has 288 bars. Guzheng rhythms emphasize melody rhythm on the first, fourth, and seventh beats. Special features include strong rhythm and sixteenth notes. Tempo, emotion, and nature scenes like mountains, water, wind, and birds make up the melody. The timbre enhances the melody. Guzheng practice/performance. Practicing: The musicians use their hands, wrists, and fingers to create a powerful, harmonized sound that matches the Guzheng melody and rhythm. Trainers must understand: Scrubbing, shaking, and volume control. Performing: Music appreciation goes beyond hearing. Guzheng performers' breathing, attitudes, and movements move audiences. Volume, loudness-softness, elasticity, noise reduction, listening more, etc. Faces, emotions, and body movements are performed professionally. Coherent performances require sensible breathing and pauses. Conclusion: 'Hai Zhi Bolan' played on guzheng is made on Wang Ruiwon. Guzheng rhythms emphasize melody, rhythm, tempo, and emotion, and nature scenes like nature make up a melody and add timbre, which enhances the melody. Practicing: the musicians use their hands, wrists, and fingers to create a powerful, harmonized sound that matches the melody and rhythm. Scrubbing, shaking, and volume control. Performing: music appreciation goes beyond hearing. breathing, attitudes, and movements move audiences. Faces, emotions, and body movements. To ensure sustainable professional development, the aesthetic culture of guzheng music and teaching and learning management systems must be in alignment with the career aspirations of young individuals interested in music.

Abstract:The importance of breathing training in dance teaching is reflected in the two aspects of enhancing the quality of dance movements and sublimating the connotation of dance movements. For example, high-quality breathing can help performers complete the dance movements and improve the coordination of the movements; at the same time, the unique body rhythm formed by breathing can strengthen the visual effect of the performance and convey its spirit and soul to the audience. This requires folk dance teachers to carry out relevant training and teaching activities based on the categories and skills of dance breathing, such as changing students’ ideological cognition, developing periodic breathing training courses, providing personalized guidance to students, and allowing students to adjust their learning and practice methods in the evaluation.

Abstract:The author examines the essence of the concept "personal temperament" taking into account the context of the scientific theories developed by Hippocrates - Galen, A. Haller, H. Vrisberg, S. Sigaud, E. Krechmer, B. Merlin, V. Nebylitsyn, I. Pavlov, and U. Sheldon. The internal processes of every individual depend on the innate features of the given phenomenon, which are reflected in his external behavior. The specificity of the impact of innate psychological and physiological determinants of a pianist's temperament is a significant factor in the process that causes the formation and manifesting his individual performance style. There are provisions that testify to the expediency of studying the individual performance style of each pianist both from the standpoint of genesis and from the standpoint of genetics, because it depends, first of all, on the innate, and not on the acquired, psychological and physiological properties of the artist of concert and stage activity, which determine formation and manifestation of this phenomenon. The author describes the main features of the individual performance style of a pianist of each type of temperament, the formation and manifestation of which is "based" on their innate psychological and physiological properties and therefore takes place with minimal expenditure of energy and time resources, namely: virtuosity, emotional resistance to stress, balanced, but "brightly expressed" artistry (provided it is subordinated to the emotional sphere, not the intellectual) - in a sanguine pianist; virtuosity and "brightly expressed" artistry - in a choleric pianist; emotional resistance to the effects of stress and inert and balanced artistry without effective and expressive communicative stage movements, even if they are subordinated to the emotional sphere, not the intellectual one - in a phlegmatic pianist. Pianists who have a phlegmatic and melancholic type of temperament produce a "crumbly" performance of virtuoso works and passages, which is explained by the complicated slow course of both cognitive and anatomical-physiological processes in them. For the purpose of further investigations, the article offers promising directions for continuing the study of the individual performance style of a pianist of any type of temperament.

Abstract:The idea of Zhong Zhi He(holding the middle so as to achieve is an important ideological resource for the construction of a harmonious society.He implies the harmonization of different sounds to generate beautiful music.When men realizes the principle that harmony is conducive to the generation of all things;uniformity will stop the development, they would apply this principle to the field of cognition,law,politics,ethics,and aesthetics to coordinate forces of different interest groups so that the goal of Da He(big harmony) could be achieved.The original seal character for Zhong(the middle) was in the form of a royal flag,denoting the middle way of the law.Later it began to mean the ethic righteousness and the uprightness of personality.Zhi Zhong Zhi He thus implies that the rulers should be righteous and upright so that they could position different forces appropriately with the right law.Zhi Zhong(holding the middle) is a principle for the ruler.Those who help the ruler to realize his aim of achieving harmony,however,might ingratiate themselves with the ruler once they become members of the bureaucracy and disrupt the stability of the ruling power and the constraint of rationality,resulting in social turmoil.After a long cycle of turbulent history, the mass overthrew the monarchy in the democratic revolution.Today when we make use of the idea of Zhong Zhi He to construct a harmonious society,we must trace the origin of this principle so that we could avoid its historical limitations and revitalize its power.

Abstract:The article reveals the signifi cance of the bamboo fl utes xiao and di in the traditional Chinese culture. The importance of musical instruments in the historically established hierarchical differentiation and rituals of ancient Chinese society is emphasised. The author considers the history of modifi cations of the bamboo fl utes, which allowed the instruments to gain great popularity. The article emphasises that, despite the ubiquity of the European fl ute in the modern musical world, including China, performance on the xiao and di continues to develop today. This is evidenced by various concerts, competitions, special festivals of performing on traditional instruments (including the xiao and di), the repertoire being created for them to this day, as well as the perception of the xiao and di as important representatives of Chinese culture.

Abstract:The article analyzes "The Love" Violin Concerto (2009) by the famous Chinese and American composer Tan Dun in contextual, composing and linguistic aspects. Based on the statements of his contemporaries, the author considers the composer's musical and aesthetic views that determine the originality of his style, organically combining avant-garde techniques with elements of traditional Chinese music. Tan Dun's Violin Concerto exists in three versions with different titles ("Out of Peking Opera" 1987, "The Love" 2009, "Rhapsody and Fantasy" 2018), representing different artistic concepts with a new viewpoint on the same intonational material. Three movements of the Concerto "The Love" reflect the evolution of feelings at different stages of human life. The composer manages to combine the idea of "national" (a tendency going back to the version of the Concerto "Out of Peking Opera" 1987) with a philosophical understanding of the category of love. The paper discusses the originality of the dramaturgy of "The Love" Violin Concerto, which assumes the third part as the main center (based on the development of thematic material of the first and second movements), the consolidation of parts of the attacca cycle and the rondality of the musical form. The most important peculiarity of the composition is the mixture of elements belonging to different cultural and temporal layers of music. The stylistic diversity of Tan Dun's Concerto is reflected in the following details: the composer's introduction of a stylized tune from the Beijing Opera erhuang, speech intonations resembling recitatives of Chinese dramas, borrowings from his own film music (the second movement), the use of methods typical for traditional Chinese music, yaoban and sanban, the timbre of oriental percussion instruments in a classical symphony orchestra, as well as dodecaphone techniques, aleatorics and Hip-hop rhythms. Special attention in the article is paid to interpretation of expressive possibilities of solo violin: methods of classical-romantic technique are synthesized with traditions of performance on Chinese stringed instruments.

Aspects of Historical Musicology

Abstract:Background. The article examines the piano piece «Red Lilies Bloomed on the Mountain» by the Chinese composer Wang Jiangzhong. The general characteristics of the genre of the program piece, the imagery, symbolism or folklore of the names of piano works are considered, which help to specify the figurative content with the help of verbal decoding, bringing the performer and the listener closer to the figurative and emotional essence of Chinese national instrumental creativity. Objectives. In order to identify the universal mechanism of piano interpretation of program pieces by Chinese composers, the specific features and specificity of Chinese national artistic thinking are analyzed, which is reflected in the performing style, which includes the understanding of the figurative sphere, issues of a technological nature, and the stylistic authenticity of the performance. Methods. The research methodology requires a systematic musicological approach to the study of the selected musical material, which, in turn, led to the use of such methods as: historical-typological, musical-aesthetic, genre-stylistic, interpretological, comparative. Results. If the pianist fully understands the character of the piece and the main ideas of Chinese philosophy, then this knowledge will tend to direct the performance of any piece to the creative process. The psychological aspect of performance requirements consists of two aspects: – determination and confidence of mood, firmness in one’s convictions and ideals, which are reflected in the music of the play thanks to certain musical techniques and compositional techniques; – the natural mobility and lightness of the melody, the overall consistency of its sound, as well as the harmonious combination of such musical characteristics as the smoothness and contrast of the sound. The requirements for the aesthetic component of the work are aimed mainly at researching the national uniqueness of the work, reflecting its beauty and symbolic content, as well as at a detailed analysis of the synthesis of national and Western musical traditions. Existing attempts at music notation in san-ban rhythms should be classified as the most general instructions for performers, especially those who do not have sufficient experience in the field of musical self-expression in the traditions of Chinese music. Conclusions. The performer must also focus on such aspects as: awareness of various philosophical ideas that directly affect both the symbolic content and imagery of Chinese music itself, and the creative process associated with its reproduction and performance on stage; the importance of understanding the title of the work, its historical and cultural context; the need for an accurate sense of latitudinal relationships in the theme and texture of the work, feeling the sound ideal of authentic sounding with the inner ear.

Abstract:This study compares affective piano performance with speech production from the perspective of dynamics: unlike previous research, this study uses finger force and articulatory effort as indexes reflecting the dynamics of affective piano performance and speech production respectively. Moreover, for the first time physical constraints such as piano fingerings and speech articulatory constraints are included due to their potential contribution to different patterns of dynamics. A piano performance experiment and speech production experiment were conducted in four emotions: anger, fear, happiness and sadness. The results show that in both piano performance and speech production, anger and happiness generally have high dynamics while sadness has the lowest dynamics. Fingerings interact with fear in the piano experiment and articulatory constraints interact with anger in the speech experiment, i.e., large physical constraints produce significantly higher dynamics than small physical constraints in piano performance under the condition of fear and in speech production under the condition of anger. Using production experiments, this study firstly supports previous perception studies on relations between affective music and speech. Moreover, this is the first study to show quantitative evidence for the importance of considering motor aspects such as dynamics in comparing music performance and speech production in which motor mechanisms play a crucial role.

For example, on the performing methods of fingering, key touching method and pedaling in piano playing, in addition to abide by the existing rule, there should also be special treatment in special circumstances, and figure out how to appropriately display the charm of Chinese music.
