Comprehensive Recovery of Iron and Mica from Zhouyoufang Iron Tailings

Abstract:In order to fully utilize the resouces,recover the iron and mica from the tailings in zhouyoufang iron mine.The iron concentrate with 50.60% grade and 25.86% recovery was achieved by separating the fine minerals after classication for iron.The mica concentrate with 96.19% purity and 37.15% recovery was achieved by floatating coarse minerals after classication for mica.In the mica concentrate the content of muscovite is 73.86%,and biotite is 22.33%.
