Abstract:In this paper, the authors establish uniform weighted estimates for certain oscillatory singular integrals T-lambda on L-P (1 < p < infinity) and H-1, respectively. The kernel function K satisfies only an H-q-condition for 1 < q <= infinity and weight function w is an element of A(p).

Abstract:Part of the intrinsic structure of singular integrals in the Bessel setting is captured by Muckenhoupt-type weights. Anderson--Kerman showed that the Bessel Riesz transform is bounded on weighted $L^p_w$ if and only if $w$ is in the class $A_{p,\lambda}$. We introduce a new class of Muckenhoupt-type weights $\widetilde A_{p,\lambda}$ in the Bessel setting, which is different from $A_{p,\lambda}$ but characterizes the weighted boundedness for the Hardy--Littlewood maximal operators. We also establish the weighted $L^p$ boundedness and compactness, as well as the endpoint weak type boundedness of Riesz commutators. The quantitative weighted bound is also established.

Abstract:The Fourier transform and the Littlewood-Paley theory are used to give the weighted boundedness of a strongly singular integral operator defined in this paper. The paper shows that the strongly singular integral operator is bounded from the Sobolev space to the Lebesgue space.

When kernel Ω(x′≠)Llog+ L(Sn−1), the $\dot F_p^{\alpha ,q} (R^n )$ boundedness of the above operator is obtained. Meanwhile, when Ω(x) satisfies L 1-Dini condition, the above operator T is bounded on $\dot F_1^{0,1} (R^n )$.

Uniform estimates for oscillatory integrals with parameter-dependent phases

Abstract:We consider the oscillatory integrals with parameter-dependent phases. We decompose the integrals into a leading term and a remainder term. Instead of the pointwise estimate, we use some $L^p$-estimate for the remainder term and get various uniform estimates when the phase functions satisfy certain conditions. This enables us to reduce the requirement of the smoothness on the phase functions, and hence improve the results in \cite[Theorem 7.7.5]{Hormander} and also obtain a refined version of the well-known Van der Corput Lemma. Some applications on the uniform expansion of the Bessel functions and dispersive estimates are also given.

Abstract:We study boundedness properties of one-dimensional bilinear singular integral operators with homogeneous kernels whose restriction $\Omega$ to the unit sphere $\mathbb S^1$ has vanishing integral and belongs to $L^q(\mathbb S^1)$ for some $q>1$. Under the additional assumption that $\Omega$ is supported away from certain degenerate points, we establish the full quasi-Banach range of $L^{p_1}(\mathbb R) \times L^{p_2}(\mathbb R) \rightarrow L^p(\mathbb R)$ bounds, corresponding to any $1<p_1,p_2<\infty$, $1/2<p<\infty$ satisfying $1/p_1+1/p_2=1/p$. In fact, a more general result is obtained by dropping the support condition on $\Omega$ and requiring that $\Omega\in L^q(\mathbb S^1,u^q)$, where $u(\theta_1,\theta_2)=|\theta_1-\theta_2|^{\min\{2-\frac{1}{p}-\frac{1}{q}-\varepsilon,0\}}$ for some $\varepsilon>0$ and for any $(\theta_1,\theta_2)\in \mathbb S^1$. In addition, we provide counterexamples that show the failure of the $n$-dimensional version of our result when $n\geq 2$, as well as the failure of its $m$-linear variant in dimension one when $m\geq 3$.

Abstract:We develop a new real-variable method for weighted $L^p$ estimates. The method is applied to the study of weighted $W^{1, 2}$ estimates in Lipschitz domains for weak solutions of second-order elliptic systems in divergence form with bounded measurable coefficients. It produces a necessary and sufficient condition, which depends on the weight function, for the weighted $W^{1,2}$ estimate to hold in a fixed Lipschitz domain with a given weight. Using this condition, for elliptic systems in Lipschitz domains with rapidly oscillating, periodic and VMO coefficients, we reduce the problem of weighted estimates to the case of constant coefficients.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate various square functions on the unit complex ball. We prove the weighted inequalities of the Lusin area integral associated with Poisson integral in terms of $A_p$ weights for all $1<p<\infty$; this gives an affirmative answer to an open question raised by Segovia and Wheeden. To that end, we establish the weighted inequalities for Littlewood-Paley type square functions. As an interesting application, we obtain the weighted inequalities of the Lusin area integral associated with Bergman gradient. In addition, we get an equivalent characterization of weighted Hardy spaces by means of the Lusin area integral in the context of holomorphic functions. We also obtain the weighted inequalities for Volterra integral operators. The key ingredients of our proof involve complex analysis, Calderón-Zygmund theory, the local mean oscillation technique and sparse domination.

We first investigate the quantitative weighted estimates with respect to the new weights for the sparse operators, the standard one and the one associated to the Bessel BMO space. Then via these sparse operators and the median value technique, we establish the (quantitative) weighted boundedness and compactness, as well as the endpoint weak type boundedness of Riesz transform commutators.

Abstract:The main purpose of this paper is to establish weighted estimates for singular integrals associated with Zygmund dilations via a discrete Littlewood--Paley theory, and then apply it to obtain the upper bound of the norm of commutators of such singular integrals with a function in the little bmo space associated with Zygmund dilations. Examples of such singular integrals associated with Zygmund dilations include a class of singular integrals studied by Ricci--Stein and Fefferman--Pipher, as well as a singular integral along a particular surface studied by Nagel--Wainger. We show that the lower bound of the norm of this commutator is not true for any singular integral in the class considered in Ricci--Stein and Fefferman--Pipher, but does in fact hold for the specific singular integral studied in Nagel--Wainger. In particular this implies that the family of singular integrals studied in these papers is not sufficiently general to contain the operator of Nagel--Wainger, which we show is of significance in this theory.

Abstract:Weighted norm estimates and representation formulas are proved for non-homogeneous singular integrals with no regularity condition on the kernel and only an L log L integrability condition. The representation formulas involve averages over a star-shaped set naturally associated with the kernel. The proof of the norm estimates is based on the representation formulas, some new variations of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function, and weighted Littlewood-Paley theory.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to $L^2$ estimates for trilinear oscillatory integrals of convolution type on $\mathbb{R}^2$. The phases in the oscillatory factors include smooth functions and polynomials. We shall establish sharp $L^2$ decay estimates of trilinear oscillatory integrals with smooth phases, and then give $L^2$ uniform estimates for these integrals with polynomial phases.
