Abstract:We develop a new real-variable method for weighted $L^p$ estimates. The method is applied to the study of weighted $W^{1, 2}$ estimates in Lipschitz domains for weak solutions of second-order elliptic systems in divergence form with bounded measurable coefficients. It produces a necessary and sufficient condition, which depends on the weight function, for the weighted $W^{1,2}$ estimate to hold in a fixed Lipschitz domain with a given weight. Using this condition, for elliptic systems in Lipschitz domains with rapidly oscillating, periodic and VMO coefficients, we reduce the problem of weighted estimates to the case of constant coefficients.

Abstract:Let H be the Hermite operator -\Delta +|x|^2 on \mathbb{R}^n. We prove a weighted L^2 estimate of the maximal commutator operator \sup_{R>0}|[b, S_R^\lambda(H)](f)|, where [b, S_R^\lambda(H)](f) = bS_R^\lambda(H) f - S_R^\lambda(H)(bf) is the commutator of a BMO function b and the Bochner-Riesz means S_R^\lambda(H) for the Hermite operator H. As an application, we obtain the almost everywhere convergence of [b, S_R^\lambda(H)](f) for large \lambda and f\in L^p(\mathbb{R}^n).

Abstract:In this paper we obtain a new global gradient estimates in weighted Lorentz spaces for weak solutions of p(x)-Laplacian type equation with small BMO coefficients in a δ-Reifenberg flat domain. The modified Vitali covering lemma, the maximal function technique and the appropriate localization method are the main analytical tools. Our results improve the known results for such equations.

Abstract:We devote this paper to global estimate in weighted variable exponent Sobolev spaces for fully nonlinear parabolic equations under a relaxed convexity condition. It is assumed that the associated variable exponent is log-Hölder continuous, the weight belongs to certain Muckenhoupt class concerning the variable exponent, the leading part of nonlinearity satisfies a relaxed convexity in Hessian and is of VMO condition in space-time variables, and the boundary of underlying domain satisfies -smooth. Our key strategy is to utilize a unified approach based on the generalized versions of Fefferman–Stein theorem of the sharp functions and extrapolation to establish the estimates of and within the framework of weighted variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.

(Moser–Trudinger inequality for the complex Monge–Ampère equation, arXiv:2003.06056v1 (2020)) to establish the uniform estimate and the Hölder continuity for solutions to the complex Monge–Ampère equation with the right-hand side in $$L^p$$ for any given $$p>1$$ . Our proof uses various PDE techniques but not the pluripotential theory.

Abstract:By using some deep tools from microlocal analysis, the authors of the papers (Ann. of Math., 165 (2007), 567--591, J. Amer. Math. Soc., 23 (2010), 655--691; Invent. Math., 178 (2009), 119--171; Duke Math. J., 158(2011), 83--120) have successfully established various Carleman estimates for elliptic operators that possess limiting Carleman weight. In this study, we revisit these problems and present a unified and fundamental approach for deriving these estimates. The main tool we employ is an elementary pointwise estimate for second-order elliptic operators.
