EFFECT AND REQUIREMENT EVALUATION OF LIFE SKILL BASED HIV/AIDS EDUCATION TRAINING AMONG TEACHERS FROM 6 PROVINCES

Abstract:[Objective]To provide an important evidence for an effective management on teachers’ training and health education for students through analyzing two surveys about requirement and feedback of teachers who took the life skill based HIV/AIDS education training from the program of global fund.[Methods]Two questionnaire surveys were conducted among 60 teachers from 6 provinces in July 2005.[Results]In the recent 2 years,the training of HIV/ADIS education to teachers was mainly about the knowledge on HIV/ADIS. The teachers thought the problems on the training of HIV/ADIS education were lack of information and training skills and the problems on HIV/ADIS education based on life skill in schools were lack of information,teachers and training. And 97.7% teachers thought the methods and contents of training were good.[Conclusion]The teachers approve of the effect of the training,and the teachers should get more training about the life skill education and participatory method by using the contents and skills of this training.
