Abstract:The doors and windows are not only an important part of architecture, but also as "frame" and "canvas" to show the beautiful landscape. Through a combination of the painting, it formed enframed scenery, expanded the building's art space, and enhanced the aesthetic value. We analyze and summarize distinctive technique and special aesthetics flavors of the painting, it’s influence on enframed scenery design for windows and doors modeling, subject, content, scene configuration and the spatial processing. By studying the relationship between the two, we hope to find the painting culture enlightenment to modern enframed scenery design.

Abstract:Abstract In order to analyze the selection and application of environmental protection materials in contemporary architecture from the perspective of phenomenology, this article takes advantage of data and theoretical analysis methods to explore the works of three contemporary architects, namely Wang Shu, Steven Holl and Peter Zumthor. This article also makes a comparative analysis of materials. It aims to explain that different types of materials show different ecological characteristics. According to the research, hypotheses can be made: one is to realize the ecology of traditional materials through recycling; the other is to realize the ecology of natural materials through obtaining materials from local sources; the third is to realize the ecology of modern materials through the combination of high technology. Additionally, the application of materials in construction is diversified, and it usually uses a variety of materials and construction methods in the same building. In terms of materials, architectures explored in this paper, on the one hand, reflect the place spirit and perceptual feeling of phenomenology; on the other hand, it is express the concern for the sustainable development of the environment.

Abstract:The influence of Husserl's phenomenology on the aftertime,including on the thought of architecture,mainly lies in the aspect of method.The influence exerted by the method of Husserl's phenomenology can be generally summarized in four aspects as the following:1) descriptive anaiysis in the sight of reflection;2) emphasizing on directness;3)phenomenological reduction;4)seeing the essence.However,Husserl's phenomenology is also connected with architecture in the aspect of content,which is inevitably caused by carrying out of the phenomenological method. What the phenomenology of architecture should engage in is the phenomenological description and analysis of human beings' architectural activities.It means that the phenomenology of architecture is not a kind of architectonic,but rather a research of one's own architectural behavior.

Abstract:The article delves into the concept of “Chineseness” in contemporary Chinese architecture, a strategic tool for creating distinctive styles rooted in Chinese identity. It serves not only to distinguish projects from market-driven trends but also to establish a pivotal position in the global architectural landscape. "Chineseness" among 24 identified keywords represents a practical strategy embraced by many young architects with international exposure. The traditional Chinese dwelling, a symbol of familial and cultural essence, particularly in the context of home culture, is a primary inspiration for contemporary architects. The research adopts a case study approach, focusing on Tulou-related cases from the last fifteen years, encompassing various building types. The Tulou, a mountain-dwelling with rich cultural connotations, is introduced, reflecting ancient Chinese philosophies in its architectural principles. The case studies, including URBANUS’s “Tulou Collective Housing 2008" and Chengdu’s “Tulou Theater,” demonstrate how Tulou prototypes can be creatively adapted. These designs not only replicate forms but also capture the communal spirit inherent in traditional dwellings. “Stepped Courtyards” by OPEN Architecture reinterprets Tulou typology for a staff dormitory, emphasizing community awareness. In conclusion, the concept of “Chineseness” emerges as a prominent topic, showcasing the dynamic and adaptable nature of traditional Chinese culture and modern architectural expressions. The cases illustrate the evolving intersection between traditional Chinese culture and modern architecture, offering insights into the future trajectory of Chinese architectural culture. The interrelated keywords highlight the nuanced and evolving nature of “Chineseness” in architectural practices.

Abstract:The article analyzes the difficulties and compromise solutions that the Chinese architectural profession finds to meet the current trends in the context of changing civilization. Even after decades of changes and innovations, the Chinese architectural profession still has not been able to create distinctive characteristics of Chinese architecture to follow the aesthetics of modern Chinese people. The design of the Guanghua commercial complex in Chengdu presented in this article uses elements of traditional Chinese culture, gardens and calligraphy to create an “artistic concept” in contemporary architectural design that reflects the identity inherent in the place.
