Abstract:Starting from the perfection of artistic mood,this paper explains that spatial boundary is limited by fear of time with respect to birth and death,so that time sets standard for space.Based on different understandings of object/subject relation between Chinese and Westerners,the author wishes to explore the independent parts of Chinese garden and architecture which could not be assimilated by architectural concept of Westerners.
