Abstract:In this paper, we prove Hamilton-Tian conjecture for Kähler-Ricci flow based on a recent work of Liu-Székelyhidi on Tian's partical C0-estimate for polarized Kähler metrics with Ricci bounded below. Yau-Tian-Donaldson conjecture for the existence of Kähler-Einstein metrics on Fano manifolds will be also discussed by Kähler-Ricci flow.

Abstract:Further geometry and topology for pseudo-holomorphic curves in complex Grassmannians Gn(CN) are studied. Some curvature pinching theorems for pseudo-holomorphic curves with constant Kahler angles in G(m)(C-N) are obtained, so that the corresponding results for pseudo-holomorphic curves in complex projective spaces are generalized.

Abstract:In this paper, a new holomorphic invariant is defined on a compact Kähler manifold with positive first Chern class and nontrivial holomorphic vector fields. This invariant generalizes the Futaki invariant. We prove that this invariant is an obstruction to the existence of Kähler-Ricci solitons. In particular, using this invariant together with the main result in [TZ1], we solve completely the uniqueness problem of Kähler-Ricci solitons. Two functionals associated to the new holomorphic invariant are also discussed. The main result here was announced in [TZ2].

Abstract:It is well-known that the classical Gauss-Bonnet-Chern theorem [C] can be interpreted as an index theorem for de Rham-Hodge operators (cf. [BGV] and [LM]) and that it is nontrivial only for even dimensional manifolds. This paper arose from an attempt to search an odd dimensional analogue of this index theorem. Recall that the Gauss-Bonnet-Chern theorem is closely related to the famous Poincare-Hopf index formula expressing the Euler number as the sum of indices of singularities of a tangent vector field. Now for odd dimensional manifolds, or more generally for manifolds with vanishing Euler number, we take the advantage that another result of Hopf asserts that there always exist nowhere zero vector fields (see e.g. Steenrod [S]). Thus let M be an odd dimensional oriented closed manifold and let V be a nowhere zero vector field on M . Let γ be the one dimensional oriented vector bundle over M generated by V . Then TM/γ carries a canonically induced orientation. Let e(TM/γ) be the Euler class of TM/γ. For any integral element ω in H1(M,Q), we will take 〈ωe(TM/γ), [M ]〉 as our substitute for the Euler class appeared in the Gauss-Bonnet-Chern theorem. The main result of this paper gives an analytic formula for this number as the index of certain elliptic Toeplitz operators. In fact, a general odd index theory has already been developed by BaumDouglas [BD] who pointed out that the associated index can be computed

Abstract:Using reduced Gromov–Witten theory, we define new invariants which capture the enumerative geometry of curves on holomorphic symplectic 4-folds. The invariants are analogous to the BPS counts of Gopakumar and Vafa for Calabi–Yau 3-folds, Klemm and Pandharipande for Calabi–Yau 4-folds, and Pandharipande and Zinger for Calabi–Yau 5-folds. We conjecture that our invariants are integers and give a sheaf-theoretic interpretation in terms of reduced 4-dimensional Donaldson–Thomas invariants of one-dimensional stable sheaves. We check our conjectures for the product of two K 3 surfaces and for the cotangent bundle of . Modulo the conjectural holomorphic anomaly equation, we compute our invariants also for the Hilbert scheme of two points on a K 3 surface. This yields a conjectural formula for the number of isolated genus 2 curves of minimal degree on a very general hyperkähler 4-fold of -type. The formula may be viewed as a 4-dimensional analogue of the classical Yau–Zaslow formula concerning counts of rational curves on K 3 surfaces. In the course of our computations, we also derive a new closed formula for the Fujiki constants of the Chern classes of tangent bundles of both Hilbert schemes of points on K 3 surfaces and generalized Kummer varieties.

Analytic torsion for irreducible holomorphic symplectic fourfolds with involution, II: the singularity of the invariant (with an Appendix by Ken-Ichi Yoshikawa)

Abstract:We study the boundary behavior of the invariant of $K3^{[2]}$-type manifolds with antisymplectic involution, which we obtained using equivariant analytic torsion. We show the algebraicity of the singularity of the invariant by using the asymptotic of equivariant Quillen metrics and equivariant $L^2$-metrics. We prove that, in some cases, the invariant coincides with Yoshikawa's invariant for 2-elementary K3 surfaces. Hence, in these cases, our invariant is expressed as the Petersson norm of a Borcherds product and a Siegel modular form.

Abstract:In this paper, we study polar quotients and Łojasiewicz exponents of plane curve singularities, which are {\em not necessarily reduced}. We first show that the polar quotients is a topological invariant. We next prove that the Łojasiewicz gradient exponent can be computed in terms of the polar quotients, and so it is also a topological invariant. As an application, we give effective estimates of the Łojasiewicz exponents in the gradient and classical inequalities of polynomials in two (real or complex) variables.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce some new invariants for complex manifolds. These invariants measure in some sense how far the complex manifolds are away from having global complex coordinates. For applications, we introduce two new invariants f((1,1)) and g((1,1)) for isolated surface singularities. We show that f((1,1)) = g((1,1)) = 1 for rational double points and cyclic quotient singularities.

Holomorphic Curves in Moduli Spaces Are Quasi-Isometrically Immersed

Abstract:A holomorphic curve in moduli spaces is the image of a non-constant holomorphic map from a hyperbolic surface $B$ of type $(g,n)$ to the moduli space $\mathcal{M}_h$ of closed Riemann surfaces of genus $h$. We show that, when all peripheral monodromies are of infinite order, the holomorphic map is a quasi-isometric immersion with parameters depending only on $g$, $n$, $h$ and the systole of $B$. When peripheral monodromies also satisfy an additional condition, we find a lift quasi-isometrically embedding a fundamental polygon of the hyperbolic surface $B$ into the Teichmüller space. We further improve the Parshin-Arakelov finiteness theorem, by proving that there are only finitely many monodromy homomorphisms induced by holomorphic curves of type $(g,n)$ in $\mathcal{M}_h$ where systole is bounded away from $0$, up to equivalence.

Abstract:We begin with modular form periods, a focal point of several Yuri Manin's works. The similarity is discussed between the corresponding zeta-polynomials and superpolynomials of algebraic links, closely related to Khovanov-Rozansky polynomials. We focus on DAHA superpolynomials and motivic ones, defined via compactified Jacobians of plane curve singularities and their counterparts in arbitrary ranks; the non-unibranch construction is new. They conjecturally coincide with the corresponding generalizations of L-functions and satisfy the Riemann Hypothesis in some sectors of the parameters. Presumably, the motivic ones an be interpreted as certain partition functions of Landau-Ginzburg models associated with plane curve singularities; RH for them is remarkably similar to the Lee-Yang circle theorem for Ising models. A q,t-deformation of the Witten index is obtained as an application. General perspectives of the motivic theory of isolated curve and surface singularities are discussed, including possible implications in number theory. Also, we introduce super-analogs of $\rho_{ab}$-invariants and discuss super-deformations of the Riemann's zeta. Among other topics: Verlinde algebras, and the topological vertex.

Simple Zero Property of Some Holomorphic Functions on the Moduli Space of Tori

Abstract:We prove that some holomorphic functions on the moduli space of tori have only simple zeros. Instead of computing the derivative with respect to the moduli parameter τ, we introduce a conceptual proof by applying Painlevé VI equation. As an application of this simple zero property, we obtain the smoothness of the degeneracy curves of trivial critical points for some multiple Green function.

Abstract:We introduce the Hodge moduli algebras and Hodge moduli sequence associated with an isolated hypersurface singularity. These are new subtle invariants of singularities. We propose several characterization conjectures by using of these invariants. We investigate structural properties and numerical invariants of Hodge ideals naturally associated with isolated hypersurface singularities. In particular, we establish that the analytic isomorphisms class of an isolated two dimensional rational hypersurface singularities is determined by the Hodge moduli algebras and Hodge moduli sequence. As a result, we prove that Hodge moduli algebra together with the geometric genus give complete characterization of such singularities. In the proof, we concretely compute the Hodge ideals and the associated Hodge moduli algebras of these singularities.
