Abstract:Ameloblastic fibro-odontoma is a rare mixed odontogenic tumor. Its characteristics include asymptomatic swelling and delayed tooth eruption. There has been recent discussion about whether it should be considered as part of the developing odontoma spectrum. In this case, an 8-year-old girl underwent a biopsy for an incidental radiological finding of an asymptomatic lesion in the posterior region of the maxilla. Tomographic findings revealed a hypodense area associated with the 65th and 26th teeth, along with the presence of incomplete septa and discontinuity of the alveolar cortex.
