Abstract:Consider a finite group $G$ acting on a graded Noetherian $k$-algebra $S$, for some field $k$ of characteristic $p$; for example $S$ might be a polynomial ring. Regard $S$ as a $kG$-module and consider the multiplicity of a particular indecomposable module as a summand in each degree. We show how this can be described in terms of homological algebra and how it is linked to the geometry of the group action on the spectrum of $S$.

Abstract:In this paper we consider the K-theory of smooth algebraic stacks, establish lambda and gamma operations, and show that the higher K-theory of such stacks is always a pre-lambda-ring, and is a lambda-ring if every coherent sheaf is the quotient of a vector bundle. As a consequence, we are able to define Adams operations and absolute cohomology for smooth algebraic stacks satisfying this hypothesis. We also obtain a comparison of the absolute cohomology with the equivariant higher Chow groups in certain special cases.

Abstract:In this paper, the module-algebra structures of U-q(sl(m + 1)) = H(e(i), f(i), k(i)(+/- 1))(1 <= i <= m)., on the coordinate algebra of quantum vector spaces are studied. We denote the coordinate algebra of quantum n-dimensional vector space by A(q)(n). As our main result, first, we give a complete classification of module-algebra structures of U-p(sl(m + 1)) on A(q)(3) when k(i) is an element of Aut L(A(q)(3)) as actions on A(q)(3) for i = 1,...,m and m >= 2 and with the same method, on A(q)(2), all module-algebra structures of U-q(sl(m + 1)) are characterized. Lastly, the module-algebra structures of U-q(sl(m + 1)) on A(q)(n) are obtained for any n >= 4.

Abstract:In <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="math.GR/0510298" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/math.GR/0510298">math.GR/0510298</a>, we showed that every F-quasigroup is linear over a special kind of Moufang loop called an NK-loop. Here we extend this relationship by showing an equivalence between the equational class of (pointed) F-quasigroups and the equational class corresponding to a certain notion of generalized module (with noncommutative, nonassociative addition) for an associative ring.

Abstract:Let X be a smooth projective curve over a finite field F with q elements. For m⩾1, let Xm be the curve X over the finite field Fm, the m-th extension of F. Let Kn(m) be the K-group Kn(Xm) of the smooth projective curve Xm. In this paper, we study the structure of the groups Kn(m). If l is a prime, we establish an analogue of Iwasawa theorem in algebraic number theory for the orders of the l-primary part Kn(lm){l} of Kn(lm). In particular, when X is an elliptic curve E defined over F, our method determines the structure of Kn(E). Our results can be applied to construct an efficient DL system in elliptic cryptography.

Abstract:In this paper, we describe the higher even $K$-groups of the ring of integers of a number field in terms of class groups of an appropriate extension of the number field in question. This is a natural extension of the previous collective works of Browkin, Keune and Kolster, where they considered the case of $K_2$. We then revisit the Kummer's criterion of totally real fields as generalized by Greenberg and Kida. In particular, we give an algebraic $K$-theoretical formulation of this criterion which we will prove using the algebraic $K$-theoretical results developed here.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the K-theory of triangular rings. As an application, we show that for a locally triangular order Λ, the p-torsion in the higher class group Cl2n(Λ) can only occur for primes p which lie under the prime ideals ℘ of [Formula: see text], at which Λ is not maximal.

Abstract:In this work we construct a compactly generated tensor-triangulated stable category for a large class of infinite groups, including those in Kropholler's hierarchy $\mathrm{LH}\mathfrak{F}$. This can be constructed as the homotopy category of a certain model category structure, which we show is Quillen equivalent to several other model categories, including those constructed by Bravo, Gillespie, and Hovey in their work on stable module categories for general rings. We also investigate the compact objects in this category. In particular, we give a characterisation of those groups of finite global Gorenstein AC-projective dimension such that the trivial representation $\mathbb{Z}$ is compact.

Abstract:Let $k$ be a field and let $E$ be a finite quiver. We study the structure of the finitely presented modules of finite length over the Leavitt path algebra $L_k (E)$ and show its close relationship with the finite-dimensional representations of the inverse quiver $\overline{E}$ of $E$, as well as with the class of finitely generated $P_k(E)$-modules $M$ such that ${\rm Tor}_q^{P_k (E)}(k^{|E^0|},M)=0$ for all $q$, where $P_k(E)$ is the usual path algebra of $E$. By using these results we compute the higher $K$-theory of the von Neumann regular algebra $Q_k (E)=L_k (E)\Sigma^{-1}$, where $\Sigma $ is the set of all square matrices over $P_k (E)$ which are sent to invertible matrices by the augmentation map $\epsilon \colon P_k (E)\to k^{|E^0|}$.

Abstract:Motivated by Krajiček and Scanlon's definition of the Grothendieck ring $K_0(M)$ of a first-order structure $M$, we introduce the definition of $K$-groups $K_n(M)$ for $n\geq0$ via Quillen's $S^{-1}S$ construction. We provide a recipe for the computation of $K_1(M_R)$, where $M_R$ is a free module over a PID $R$, subject to the knowledge of the abelianizations of the general linear groups $GL_n(R)$. As a consequence, we provide explicit computations of $K_1(M_R)$ when $R$ belongs to a large class of Euclidean domains that includes fields with at least $3$ elements and polynomial rings over fields with characteristic $0$. We also show that the algebraic $K_1$ of a PID $R$ embeds into $K_1(R_R)$.

Abstract:We establish formulas for computation of the higher algebraic $K$-groups of the endomorphism rings of objects linked by a morphism in an additive category. Let ${\mathcal C}$ be an additive category, and let $Y\ra X$ be a covariant morphism of objects in ${\mathcal C}$. Then $K_n\big(_{\mathcal C}(X\oplus Y)\big)\simeq K_n\big(_{{\mathcal C},Y}(X)\big)\oplus K_n\big(_{\mathcal C}(Y)\big)$ for all $1\le n\in \mathbb{N}$, where $_{{\mathcal C},Y}(X)$ is the quotient ring of the endomorphism ring $_{\mathcal C}(X)$ of $X$ modulo the ideal generated by all those endomorphisms of $X$ which factorize through $Y$. Moreover, let $R$ be a ring with identity, and let $e$ be an idempotent element in $R$. If $J:=ReR$ is homological and $_RJ$ has a finite projective resolution by finitely generated projective $R$-modules, then $K_n(R)\simeq K_n(R/J)\oplus K_n(eRe)$ for all $n\in \mathbb{N}$. This reduces calculations of the higher algebraic $K$-groups of $R$ to those of the quotient ring $R/J$ and the corner ring $eRe$, and can be applied to a large variety of rings: Standardly stratified rings, hereditary orders, affine cellular algebras and extended affine Hecke algebras of type $\tilde{A}$.

Abstract:This paper is a continuation of our previous work [10]. By GAERS-1, we denote the class of generalized abelian exchange rings with stable range 1. In this paper, we first prove that for any ring R is an element of GAERS-1 and any ideal I of R, Ko(R/I) is an archimedean l-group, which is a natural generalization of [10, Theorem 5.3]. As applications, we establish explicit characterizations for the K-0-simplicity of such rings in the sense of [3], and investigate the norm completeness of their K-0-groups. Finally, we characterize the primitive idempotents in R by K-0(R) with ordered structure, from which we can further determine completely the structure of K-0(R).
The product of simple modules over KLR algebras and quiver Grassmannians

Abstract:In this paper, we study the product of two simple modules over KLR algebras using the quiver Grassmannians for Dynkin quivers. More precisely, we establish a bridge between the Induction functor on the category of modules of KLR algebras and the irreducible components of quiver Grassmannians for Dynkin quivers via a sort of extension varieties, which is an analogue of the extension group in Hall algebras. As a result, we give a necessary condition when the product of two simple modules over a KLR algebra is simple using the set of irreducible components of quiver Grassmannians. In particular, in some special cases, we provide a proof for the conjecture recently proposed by Lapid and Minguez.

Abstract:We consider a real Abelian Lie supergroup $G$ acting on its complexification $M$, equipped with a $G$-invariant super Kähler form. We extend the scheme of classical geometric quantization to this setting and construct a unitary $G$-representation. We show that the occurrences of its irreducible subrepresentations are governed by the image of the moment map of the super Kähler form. As an application, we construct a Gelfand model of $G$, namely a unitary $G$-representation in which every unitary irreducible representation occurs exactly once.

Abstract:In this paper we mainly study the homological properties of dual modules over $k$-Gorenstein rings. For a right quasi $k$-Gorenstein ring $\Lambda$, we show that the right self-injective dimension of $\Lambda$ is at most $k$ if and only if each $M \in$mod $\Lambda$ satisfying the condition that Ext$_{\Lambda}^i(M, \Lambda)=0$ for any $1\leq i \leq k$ is reflexive. For an $\infty$-Gorenstein ring, we show that the big and small finitistic dimensions and the self-injective dimension of $\Lambda$ are identical. In addition, we show that if $\Lambda$ is a left quasi $\infty$-Gorenstein ring and $M\in$mod $\Lambda$ with grade$M$ finite, then Ext$_{\Lambda}^i($Ext$_{\Lambda ^{op}}^i($Ext$_{\Lambda}^{{\rm grade}M}(M, \Lambda), \Lambda), \Lambda)=0$ if and only if $i\neq$grade$M$. For a 2-Gorenstein ring $\Lambda$, we show that a non-zero proper left ideal $I$ of $\Lambda$ is reflexive if and only if $\Lambda /I$ has no non-zero pseudo-null submodule.
