Abstract:Purpose Nurses' turnover intention has become a major issue in developing countries with high power distance cultures. Therefore, the authors attempt to investigate how turnover intention among nurses' can be reduced through paternalistic leadership (PL). The authors further investigate the mediating role of job satisfaction between the associations of benevolent, moral and authoritarian dimensions of PL with turnover intention. Finally, the authors examined perceived organizational support (POS) as a conditional variable between job satisfaction and turnover intention. Design/methodology/approach The authors collected data from 374 nurses working in public and private hospitals of high power distance culture using a questionnaire-based survey on convenience basis. Findings Structural equation modeling confirms that benevolent and moral dimensions of PL positively affect nurses' job satisfaction which helps them reduce their turnover intention. While the authoritarian dimension of PL negatively affects job satisfaction to further enhance their turnover intention. In addition, the authors noted POS as a conditional variable to trigger the negative effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention. Research limitations/implications The authors used a cross-sectional design to collect responses and ensured the absence of common method variance through Harman's Single factor test. Originality/value This study identified the mechanism (job satisfaction and POS) through which benevolent, moral and authoritative dimensions of PL predict turnover intention among nurses working in high power distance culture.

Abstract:Based on the leadership literature, this study investigates how paternalistic leadership (PL) and polychronicity (PC) affect the life satisfaction (LS) of nurses, specifically in public hospitals. Moreover, the mediating role of work-family conflict (WFC) and family-work conflict (FWC) is also assessed the relationships among PL, PC, and LS. The cross-sectional study design is used in this study due to its cost benefits and the convenience of data collection at a single point in time. A survey questionnaire is used to collect data from 226 nurses, and the Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique is used to investigate the proposed model. The findings of this study confirmed that PL and PC have a positive relationship with LS. Furthermore, WFC partially mediated the relationships among PL, PC, and LS. In addition, FWC partially mediated the relationship between PL and LS; the role of FWC in mediating the relationship between PC and LS has been found to be insignificant. Employees with high PC and those whose supervisors show PL behavior become more satisfied with their lives and have relatively low WFC and FWC. In addition, the theoretical and practical implications have also been discussed.

Abstract:This study investigates the experiences of women in leadership roles within higher education institutions in Pakistan and the United States. The main aim is to understand how women describe their experiences in attaining, advancing, and maintaining leadership positions in higher education. It contributes to theoretical understandings of women's leadership and highlighting unique challenges and opportunities in different cultural contexts. This study employs Mezirow's (2003) Critical Reflection Theory as a theoretical framework to guide participants' retrospective storytelling process. Through qualitative research methods including semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis of interview transcripts, the study explores how women navigate their journeys to leadership positions and the challenges they encounter. Despite cultural variations, female leaders in both countries face comparable obstacles such as gender bias and limited training opportunities. To empower these leaders, policies should prioritize formal leadership training, address workplace bias, and support work-life balance initiatives. Policy implications include the implementation of formal leadership training programs, addressing unconscious bias, and supporting family-friendly policies to empower female leaders. Advocacy for legislative measures promoting gender equality in leadership positions is crucial for creating supportive policy environments globally. Can paternalistic leaders enhance knowledge sharing? The roles of organizational commitment and Islamic work ethics

Abstract:Purpose This paper aims to investigate the effect of paternalistic leadership (benevolent, moral and authoritarian) on knowledge sharing of nurses through the mediation of organizational commitment (affective, continuance and normative). Further, the study examines the moderating role of Islamic work ethics on the association between organizational commitment and knowledge sharing. Design/methodology/approach In this quantitative study, data was collected from 312 nurses working in the health-care sector of Pakistan through “Google Forms” in two waves. Moreover, structural equation modeling was used to test the proposed hypotheses. Findings The study noted affective and normative commitment as mediators between the associations of benevolent, moral and authoritarian leadership with knowledge sharing, whereas continuance commitment was not found as an explaining variable. In addition, Islamic work ethics was found to strengthen the association of affective and normative commitment with knowledge sharing. However, Islamic work ethics was found to weaken the association between continuance commitment and knowledge sharing. Practical implications This study offers practical insights for health-care executives to act as fatherly figures to enhance the knowledge sharing of their nurses. The study recommends that managers in the health-care system build such an environment that helps nurses follow Islamic work ethics. It may enhance their level of organizational commitment and encourage them to engage in knowledge sharing behaviors to have a successful work environment. Originality/value To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this research is the first to extend the literature on paternalistic leadership. More specifically, this study investigated how various dimensions of paternalistic leadership (benevolent, moral and authoritarian) effects three-dimensional commitment (affective, continuance and normative) to enhance knowledge sharing behavior among nurses.
Paternalistic Leadership Creates Work Performance, Servant Leadership Delivers Job Satisfaction: Integration of Two Types of Leadership Behaviors

Abstract:Nowadays, paternalistic leadership is prevalent in organizations and teams under Chinese culture and even around the world. However, only few empirical studies explored the integration of the two types of leadership behaviors and their influence on employees' work performance and job satisfaction. In the contemporary society, in order to improve the effectiveness of paternalistic leadership, this paper studies the influence of paternalistic leadership on employees' work performance and job satisfaction through the moderation of servant leadership behaviors. One thousand and thirty employees from enterprises in several cities of China answered the questionnaires and we conducted Hierarchical regression analysis based on the 817 valid questionnaires data. The results of the regression analysis showed that: Paternalistic leadership has a more significant positive effect on work performance; while servant leadership has a more significant positive effect on work satisfaction. Servant leadership is the moderator on the relationship between paternalistic leadership and work performance, and between paternalistic leadership and job satisfaction. Under high levels of servant leadership, paternalistic leadership influence work performance and work satisfaction more significantly.
Assessing the Effectiveness of Leadership Styles among Nurses in Tertiary Hospitals of Peshawar

Abstract:Background: The healthcare sector increasingly recognizes the importance of leadership styles in shaping the work environment, employee satisfaction, and patient care outcomes. Leadership within nursing teams, particularly in tertiary hospitals, plays a crucial role in addressing the challenges of healthcare delivery and staff retention. The diversity in leadership styles—authoritarian, democratic, and laissez-faire—offers various approaches to managing nursing teams and influencing healthcare outcomes. Objective: This study aimed to assess the prevalence of different leadership styles among nurses working in tertiary hospitals in Peshawar and to explore their impact on nursing practice and healthcare delivery. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was employed, involving 240 nurses from Khyber Teaching Hospital and Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. Participants were selected using a convenience sampling technique. A structured questionnaire, comprising socio-demographic items and leadership style assessments, was utilized for data collection. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25, focusing on frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations to evaluate the distribution of leadership styles. Results: The majority of participants reported a high range of authoritarian (44.2%), democratic (44.2%), and laissez-faire (46.3%) leadership styles. The prevalence of very high range was significant for authoritarian (43.3%) and democratic (40%) styles, indicating a strong inclination towards these leadership approaches among nursing staff. The study also highlighted a positive association between democratic leadership styles and job satisfaction among nurses. Conclusion: The findings underscore the diversity of leadership styles among nurses in tertiary hospitals in Peshawar, with a notable preference for authoritarian and democratic approaches. This diversity suggests the need for flexible leadership training programs tailored to the dynamic requirements of healthcare settings. Enhancing leadership skills among nurses is crucial for improving healthcare delivery and achieving better patient care outcomes.

Abstract:Job performance is essential for growth, especially in the service sector like hospitals. Apart from other factors, the leadership style affects job performance and other organizational-related outcomes. The literature documents that hospital employees’ job performance has declined. Thus, we have focused on nurses and other healthcare staff, excluding doctors in the healthcare industry. The study’s sample size was 582. The study supports all five hypotheses. We found that “servant leadership and trust positively affect job performance.” Servant leadership positively affects trust. The study also documents that “trust mediates servant leadership and job performance.” At the same time, our results also suggest that “power distance” moderates servant leadership and trust relationship. Based on the direct and indirect effects of servant leadership and job performance, we suggest organizations hire servant leaders. The organizations mustalso regularly conduct counseling sessions for their leaders to focus on the employee’s development and wellbeing. Such attitudes positively enhance job performance and increase employees’ trust. Consequently, employees reciprocate by developing loyalty with the organizations and the leaders.
Impact of Paternalistic Leadership on Knowledge Sharing Behavior with the Mediating Role of Affective Commitment and Power Distance as Moderator

Abstract:Purpose – This paper aims at examining the impact of paternalistic leadership on knowledge-sharing behavior with the mediating role of affective commitment and power distance as moderators. Design/Methodology/Approach – A quantitative research design was employed. For collecting data 300 structured questionnaires comprising of a 5-point Likert scale (strongly disagree to strongly agree) were distributed out of which 146 were received and used. Cronbach alpha, correlation, multiple regression analysis, and mediator analysis were tested on the collected information. Findings – The results showed that PL (AL) has a positive impact while PL (BL) and PL (ML) have a significant positive impact on KSB; moreover, PD fully moderates the PL and KSB relationship when the mediating role of AC is contrary to developed hypothesis. Research limitations/implications – Since this research was conducted among a particular group of construction, manufacturing industry, project-based, and other business professionals, further research should investigate such related relation in some other context with different moderating and mediating variables. Practical implications – Finding of this research can be implemented in different organizations for checking the authenticity and further betterment. Originality/Value – The paper has first-hand primary research data of which results, and conclusions are drawn by following all necessary ethical and scientific research methods.
Servant leadership in relation to organizational justice and workplace deviance in public hospitals

Abstract:Purpose: Leadership literature has identified that the servant leadership style can reduce employee negative work outcomes, even in challenging work environments like the health-care sector as nurses play an important role in the performance of a hospital. That is why, the efficiency and effectiveness of the nurses are believed to be directly linked to improved health benefits to the public. So, this study aims to investigate the inter-relationship between servant leadership, organizational justice and workplace deviance of nurses in public sector hospitals. Design/methodology/approach: A self-administrated questionnaire using a drop-and-collect method was used for collecting the data from nurses working in the public sector hospitals of Pakistan using a convenient sampling technique. In total, 370 questionnaires were distributed among the nursing staff, of which 201 completed and usable questionnaires were returned and used for data analysis. Further, the partial least squares structural equation modeling approach is used in this study using SmartPLS version 3 software to test the hypothesized model and determine the direct and indirect effects. Findings: Results showed a negative relationship between servant leadership and workplace deviance, positive relationship between servant leadership and organizational justice, negative relationship between organizational justice and workplace deviance and that organizational justice mediates in the relationship between servant leadership and workplace deviance. Practical implications: This study provides valuable recommendations and practical implications to address the nurses' deviant workplace behaviors in the public sector hospitals of Pakistan. Originality/value: This study is novel as it shows the significance of servant leadership behavior which has the ability to positively influence organizational justice perception leading to less likelihood of the emergence of nurses' deviant workplace behavior, specifically in the context of public sector hospitals of Pakistan.

Abstract:Objectives: This study focuses on the effectiveness of healthcare leadership in primary healthcare centers in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, examining the interplay between leadership styles, emotional intelligence, and their impact on leadership effectiveness. Emphasizing the critical role of primary healthcare as outlined by the World Health Organization, the research addresses the gap in understanding leadership dynamics within the Saudi healthcare context. Methods: A cross-sectional design was used, involving 89 managers and deputies from 48 primary healthcare centers in Madinah City, Saudi Arabia in 2023. The methodology included a comprehensive questionnaire assessing leadership effectiveness, emotional intelligence, and socio-demographic variables. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 26 (Armonk, NY: IBM Corp), incorporating chi-square tests, t-tests, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson correlation, and binary logistic regression for statistical evaluation. Results: The findings revealed a high level of leadership effectiveness (79.8%; 95% CI: 62.7±10.2) among the study participants. Emotional intelligence emerged as a significant factor in effective leadership, evidenced by a strong positive correlation (r=0.75; p=0.001) between emotional intelligence and leadership effectiveness. The study also observed a predominant preference for democratic leadership styles among participants, with no significant variance in leadership effectiveness across different styles. A notable area for improvement identified was self-awareness among healthcare leaders. Conclusion: The research concludes that effective healthcare leadership, significantly influenced by emotional intelligence, is essential for reaching high-quality primary healthcare. It advocates for the integration of emotional intelligence training, especially focusing on self-awareness, in leadership development programs for healthcare professionals.

Abstract:Workplace bullying has become a major challenge for organizations across the globe as it relates to long-term negative workplace outcomes. Past studies have identified leadership as a predictor of reducing workplace bullying, however, studies on the mechanism between the same are scant. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the mediating role of resilience and the moderating role of Islamic work ethics between ethical leadership and workplace bullying. The data for this study were collected from nurses working in the Pakistani healthcare sector as they are the victims of bullying because of a number of reasons. First, In Pakistan, patient/nurse ratio is very high (a single nurse has to face almost 25 patients). Second, doctor to nurse ratio is also very high (1:5). The study collected data from 284 nurses of both public and private sector hospitals through a questionnaire-based survey. Hypotheses of the study were examined through structural equation modeling using AMOS and the results revealed a negative impact of ethical leader on bullying. In addition, resilience was noted as explanatory variable and Islamic work ethics was noted to weaken the association between ethical leader and bullying. Most of the nurses’ staff in Pakistan are female, so results may be gender-biased. The model of this study is based on social learning theory and Islamic work ethics has not previously been studied in this perspective.
Linking authoritarian leadership to employee organizational embeddedness, LMX and performance in a high-power distance culture: a mediation-moderated analysis

Abstract:Purpose This study has two primary objectives: (1) to shed light on the mechanism by which authoritarian leadership unfolds its impact on such critical aspects of subordinates' work lives as job satisfaction and in-role performance and (2) to identify the moderating conditions which place limits on the impact of authoritarian leadership on work outcomes. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected on 552 supervisor-subordinate dyads from the United Arab Emirates. A series of research hypotheses were tested using a mixed-method statistical approach, including CFA and moderated hierarchical regression analysis. Findings As predicted, authoritarian leadership exerts negative impact on subordinates' job satisfaction and performance through poor quality LMX and weak employee organizational embeddedness. Both LMX and employee embeddedness mediated the negative relationship between authoritarian leadership and outcome measures while power distance moderated the relationship of authoritarian leadership with LMX and employee organizational embeddedness. Low power distance orientation was found to exacerbate the negative impact of authoritarian leadership on the quality of both LMX relationships and employee embeddedness. Research limitations/implications The study shares limitations of most studies cast in the survey research design. Practical implications The findings underscore the importance of work environment in nurturing high quality LMX relationships and employee organizational embeddedness to buffer the negative effect of authoritarian leadership on subordinates' job satisfaction and performance. In high power distance cultures where workplace inequality is largely rationalized, subordinates who perceive their leaders as authoritarian tend to show low job satisfaction and poor in-role performance. These findings illustrate the importance of management intervention in the early stage of recruitment and selection to attract managers receptive to egalitarian leadership approaches who can equip subordinates with appropriate resources to enhance their job satisfaction and performance outcomes. Originality/value The study offers valuable new insights into the mechanism by which authoritarian leadership influences work outcomes in a high-power distance culture. It represents first systematic effort in the Middle Eastern context to identify the conditions that mediate the linkage between authoritarian leadership and work outcomes. The study adds value to the literature by investigating the moderating role of power distance at the individual level of analysis. It detects significant differences in subordinates' perception of power inequality in the workplace in a culture viewed as a high-power distance culture and illustrates how such differences in turn shape the quality of LMX and employee organizational embeddedness.

Abstract:THE MECHANISM of the Dejerine-Roussy syndrome is obscure. The original view of Roussy' that the pain and hyperpathia are due to an irritation of the involved parts of the thalamus has already been contradicted. Head2 has pointed out that most of these cases are due to vascular disturbances that produce the maximum symptoms immediately after the cerebrovascular accident, while the characteristic symptoms of the thalamic syndrome develop at a much later time, when the patient has recovered from the direct effect of the vascular lesion. But Head's assumption of a release of the lateral part of the thalamus from cortical inhibition could not be maintained. Experimentally cortical stimulation3 as well as ablation4 failed to show the existence of a cortical inhibition of thalamic discharges, and also the absence of thalamic pain in cases with large lesions of the internal capsule mitigates against Head's theory. Similarly the hypothesis of a release of the thalamus from a striopallidal inhibition6 is not acceptable, since in most diseases of the striopallidum or of its efferent fibers pain is not present. Likewise in our material with pallidotomy and ansotomy, pain did not occur. Many authors have been attracted by the theory that the phylogenetically young epicritic sensation inhibits the phylogenetically old protopathic sensation (for peripheral nerves: Rivers and Head,u for thalamic pain: Foersteld). However, in the majority of cases with degeneration of the posterior column pain does not appear. Instances of spontaneous pain without a lesion of the epicritic sensation have been observed as well as elimination of the epicritic system without hyperpathia.7-11 Of particular interest is Lhermitte's'* view that the thalamus has a filter function, and that destruction of this filter results in the conduction of impulses to the cerebral cortex that normally are retained by the thalamus. Abstract:Feedback seeking relates positively to organizational identification and task performance. However, an individual generally views seeking feedback as risky. It remains unclear whether, why, and when ethical leadership impacts on feedback-seeking behavior. This research aimed to explore the mediating role of psychological safety in the relationship between ethical leadership and nurses' feedback seeking and to further explore the moderating effect of power distance in this mechanism. After eliminating invalid surveys, the sample included 458 pairs. The SPSS PROCESS macro was used for the data analysis. The results indicate that ethical leadership positively affected nurses' feedback-seeking. Ethical leadership influences feedback seeking through psychological safety. With high power distance, ethical leadership significantly positively influenced psychological safety and then positively affected feedback-seeking behavior. In sum, in the context of high-power distance, ethical leadership is especially important for psychological safety and feedback-seeking behavior.

Abstract:Purpose In the background of the post-financial crisis era and the transition of China’s economic development, the frequent occurrence of workplace deviant behavior in the economic field, such as stealing, bribery, caused a huge impact on the enterprise. In recent years, the deviant behavior of employees has been increased noticeably. The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of paternalistic leadership on employee deviant behavior in workplace. To have a deep understanding of the relationship between paternalistic leadership and employee deviant behavior, the author’s design rule oriented ethical climate and self-interest oriented ethical climate as two mediators in this research model. Design/methodology/approach Based on social learning theory and stressor-emotion model, this study conducts an investigation of influence mechanism between paternalistic leadership and workplace deviant behavior. Time-lagged data was collected from 226 employees from six cities in China. To test the hypothesis that the authors developed in this paper, the authors use empirical models from the existing literature about paternalistic leadership on employee deviant behavior. They establish multiple linear regressions to test the hypotheses. Findings This study reveals the direct effect of authoritarian leadership on employee deviant behavior and the moderated roles of benevolent leadership and moral leadership, also analysis the mediated mechanism of self-interest oriented ethical climate and rule oriented ethical climate. The results show that the higher the degree of authority leaders show in the organization, the easier to stimulate workplace deviance of employee, self-interest oriented ethical climate and rule oriented ethical climate play mediated role between authoritarian leadership and workplace deviant behavior. The interaction of benevolent leadership and moral leadership with authoritarian leadership can weaken the self-interest oriented ethical climate but has nothing to do with rule oriented ethical climate. Originality/value This study has three main contributions to the previous literature. First, this study explores the relationship between authoritarian leadership and employee workplace deviance, which could enrich the research on these negative behaviors in the Chinese context. Second, this study unpacks the “black box” in which authoritarian leadership influences employee workplace deviant behavior. Third, this study further examines the impacts of different combinations of the three factors of paternalistic leadership.

Abstract:Purpose: The overall objective of the study was to investigate the relationship between paternalistic leadership, Trust, employee creativity, and organizational citizenship behavior. Based on the review, the present study examines and tries to fill the gaps that have yet to be tended to in previous literature. This research is comparatively and possibly a novel thought from a Pakistani perspective and especially in Government and Semi Government related organizations since it expects to develop and test an integrative model. Design/Methodology/Approach: The unit of analysis for the study is individuals employed in the selected organizations of Pakistan. The sample size of the study was determined at 188 and the total response rate of the data collection is 85%. A sample size of 188 was faced as a restraint. The sampling technique is convenience based and data collection is cross-sectional. The study has its originality as an integrative model formulated with the combination of these variables that have not been tested earlier specifically in government and semi-government related organizations i.e. OGDCL & PTCL. Findings: Results of the study indicate that paternalistic leadership is having a significant relationship with both the dependent variables i.e. Employee Creativity and Organization Citizenship Behavior. The employee reported that such leadership traits allow them to come up with creative performance and with citizenship behavior. Moreover, trust is also mediating the proposed relationship between paternalistic leadership, employee creativity, and organizational citizenship behavior. The sample size was faced as a limitation. Practical Implications: However, the organizations should encourage leaders to ensure the formulation and implementation of the employee concerning policies and procedures which will resultantly assist in exhibiting citizenship behavior. The study has significance for policymakers, managers, supervisors, and employees at all levels.

Abstract:Drawing from self-concept-based leadership theory, we investigated how paternalistic leadership (authoritarianism, benevolence, and morality) influences employee voice from a status self-concept-based perspective in the Chinese context. Using a sample of 402 employees and their corresponding supervisors, we found that status judgment transmitted the influence of paternalistic leadership on employee voice. Paternalistic leaders¡ authoritarianism would damage subordinates¡ status judgment; benevolence and morality (marginally significant) would enhance subordinates¡ status judgment. High status judgment would further encourage subordinates to voice more. We discuss the theoretical and practical implications of these findings.

Abstract:Leadership stains affect the follower’s performances regarding innovative work behavior, and a gap is found in leadership research in higher education, specifically in Pakistan. The basic purpose of this research is to point out the effect of leadership styles on innovative work behavior under the mediating and moderating roles of organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior among the Head of the Departments (HODs) in higher education institutions (HEIs). A survey method has been carried out to collect data from 160 respondents to, further, verify how leadership styles of academic leaders affect employees’ performances in universities. The statistical study exposes a substantial positive effect of leadership styles on innovative work behaviors of employees highlighting mediating and moderating effects of organizational culture and OCB on such a relationship. This study carries various implications for prior research in both theoretical and practical fields, and its scope may also be enlarged, geographically or institutionally, to another context. This research uncovers the relationship of leadership styles and innovative work behavior in academic research, which has been ignored before in higher education of Pakistan.

Abstract:BACKGROUND: Adopting an effective leadership style is of critical importance in increasing healthcare efficiency and therefore determining patient satisfaction. For example, although there are many new and effective leadership types today, the paternalistic leadership approach can still play an effective role in developing countries. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study is to examine the moderating role of paternalistic leadership in the relationship between job satisfaction and job stress. METHODS: A total of 466 healthcare workers completed measures of perceived paternalistic leadership, job stress, and job satisfaction. The research was conducted in the center of Gaziantep, one of the largest cities in Turkey. Regression analysis was used to evaluate the moderate variable. Dawson slope were used to visualize the results. RESULTS: A negative relationship was found between job satisfaction and job stress. Additionally, it has been determined that the perception of paternalistic leadership has a moderating role. It has been observed that as the perception of paternalistic leadership increases, the negative relationship between job satisfaction and job stress decreases. CONCLUSION: It has been concluded that the paternalistic leadership approach can play a critical role in increasing the productivity of healthcare workers and reducing the negative effect of stress on satisfaction. It has been suggested that policies be developed to develop appropriate strategies for creating work environments that will increase employees’ perceptions of paternalistic leadership.

Abstract:Purpose The primary objectives of this paper are to examine the mediating effect of team learning (TL) in the relationship between shared leadership (SL) and team performance (TP), to investigate the important contingencies-moderating role of workplace bullying in the relationship between SL and TL and to investigate the moderating role of job insecurity in the relationship between TL and TP in health-care organizations. Design/methodology/approach Based on the social learning theory, this study used the aggregation approach to collect data, by using a structured questionnaire and the purposive sampling technique, from 223 respondents (60 leaders and 174 team members) of 60 sales teams from the top 10 pharmaceutical companies. A structural equation modeling on SmartPLS 3.2.9. was then used for analyzing the data collected. Findings The results indicate that SL significantly affects TP and that TL partially mediates this relationship. Workplace bullying has a significant impact as it reduces the effect of SL on TL and has a significant impact on TL. On the other hand, job insecurity has positively influenced TL and TP. Originality/value One of the first studies in the Pakistan health-care producer context used social learning theory to develop a contingency model based on important contingencies (workplace bullying and job insecurity). The study contributes to the existing literature on team leadership, highlighting how leadership can be translated into team performance.
