Abstract:Organic thermally-activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) materials have been widely applied in organic optoelectronics, biological oxygen sensing, fluorescence probes, and imaging. Inspired by sulfonyldibenzene-based TADF materials with considerable charge transport abilities and distorted structures, we design and synthesize three sulfonyldibenzene-based molecules (CS-01, CS-02, and CS-03) as hole transport materials (HTMs) for perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The CS series HTMs are endowed with excellent thermal stability, good solubility, and suitable energy level matched with perovskite material. As a result, the CS-01-based PSC devices deliver an impressive power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 19.94% and excellent thermal stability. The Supporting Information is available free of charge at https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acsmaterialslett.0c00320.General information on materials, methods, and instruments; materials synthesis and characterization; TGA; DSC; CV; hole mobility; photophysical properties; fitting parameters of time-resolved PL; surface morphologies of HTM films (SEM and AFM j–v); and cost analysis of CS-01 (PDF)This article has not yet been cited by other publications.
