Abstract:We study and classify Artin-Schelter regular algebras of dimension five with two generators under an additional Z(2)-grading by Hilbert driven Grobner basis computations. All the algebras we obtained are strongly noetherian, Auslander regular, and Cohen-Macaulay. One of the results provides an answer to Floystad-Vatne's question in the context of Z(2)-grading. Our results also achieve a connection between Lyndon words and Artin-Schelter regular algebras. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Abstract:Abstract We show that Artin–Schelter regularity of a $\mathbb{Z}$-graded algebra can be examined by its associated $\mathbb{Z}$r-graded algebra. We prove that there is exactly one class of four-dimensional Artin–Schelter regular algebras with two generators of degree one in the Jordan type. This class is strongly noetherian, Auslander regular, and Cohen–Macaulay. Their automorphisms and point modules are described.

Abstract:We discuss certain homological properties of graded algebras whose trivial modules admit nonpure resolutions. Such algebras include both of Artin-Schelter regular algebras of types (12221) and (13431). Under certain conditions, a module with nonpure resolution is decomposed to form an extension by two modules with pure resolutions.

Abstract:New families of algebras and DG algebras with two simple modules are introduced and described. Using the twisted tensor product operation, we prove that such algebras have finite global dimension, and the resulting DG algebras are smooth. This description allows us to show that some of these DG algebras determine smooth proper noncommutative curves that provide smooth minimal noncommutative resolutions for singular rational curves.

Abstract:The strata of the moduli spaces of Abelian differentials are non-homogenous spaces carrying natural bi-algebraic structures. Partly inspired by the case of homogenous spaces carrying bi-algebraic structures (such as torii, Abelian varieties and Shimura varieties), Klingler and Lerer recently showed that any bi-algebraic curve in a stratum of the moduli space of Abelian differentials is linear provided that the so-called condition $(\star)$ is fulfilled. In this note, we construct a non-linear bi-algebraic curve, resp. surface, of Abelian differentials of genus $7$, resp. $10$.

Proper connective differential graded algebras and their geometric realizations

Abstract:We prove that every proper connective DG-algebra $A$ admits a geometric realization (as defined by Orlov) by a smooth projective scheme with a full exceptional collection. As a corollary we obtain that $A$ is quasi-isomorphic to a finite dimensional DG-algebra and in the smooth case we compute the noncommutative Chow motive of $A$. We go on to analyse the relationship between smoothness and regularity in more detail as well as commenting on smoothness of the degree zero cohomology for smooth proper connective DG-algebras.

Abstract:The twisted tensor product of DG algebras is studied and sufficient conditions for smoothness of such a product are presented. It is shown that in the case of finite-dimensional DG algebras, applying this operation offers great possibilities for constructing new examples of smooth DG algebras and algebras. In particular, examples are given of families of algebras of finite global dimension with two simple modules that have non-trivial moduli spaces. Bibliography: 24 titles.

Double extension of flat pseudo-Riemannian $F$-Lie algebras

Abstract:We define the concept of a flat pseudo-Riemannian $F$-Lie algebra and construct its corresponding double extension. This algebraic structure can be interpreted as the infinitesimal analogue of a Frobenius Lie group devoid of Euler vector fields. We show that the double extension provides a framework for generating all weakly flat Lorentzian non-abelian bi-nilpotent $F$-Lie algebras possessing one dimensional light-cone subspaces. A similar result can be established for nilpotent Lie algebras equipped with flat scalar products of signature $(2,n-2)$ where $n\geq 4$. Furthermore, we use this technique to construct Poisson algebras exhibiting compatibility with flat scalar products.

Bi-algebraic geometry of strata of differentials in genus zero

Abstract:We study algebraic subvarieties of strata of differentials in genus zero satisfying algebraic relations among periods. The main results are Ax-Schanuel and André-Oort-type theorems in genus zero. As a consequence, one obtains several equivalent characterizations of bi-algebraic varieties. It follows that bi-algebraic varieties in genus zero are foliated by affine-linear varieties. Furthermore, bi-algebraic varieties with constant residues in strata with only simple poles are affine-linear. Additionally, we produce infinitely many new linear varieties in strata of genus zero, including infinitely many new examples of meromorphic Teichmüller curves.

Abstract:We develop the process of symplectic double extensions for Lie superalgebras with degenerate center. The construction is a superization of a recent work by Fischer, and generalize our previous work. We provide a standard model for such double extensions, where the symplectic form is either orthosymplectic or periplectic. Additionally, we show that every double extension is naturally equivalent to either of these two standard types of extensions. Several examples in low dimensions are given to illustrate the concept.

Abstract:The global Cn+2,α-regularity for the graph of solutions to a singular Monge–Ampère equation was established in [7]. This equation arises in the study of hyperbolic affine spheres and is singular at the boundary. A compatibility condition for higher regularity was found in [7].
