Abstract:In this article, we introduce a class of generalized matrix algebras, in which each algebra is called a normally upper triangular gm algebra, and characterise Gorenstein projective modules over this class of algebras. Moreover, a sufficient condition of strongly Gorenstein projective modules over normally upper triangular gm algebras is given. The importance of normally upper triangular gm algebras for us is that it includes the so-called path algebras of quivers over algebras and generalized path algebras. Due to this, we characterize Gorenstein projective modules and strongly Gorenstein projective modules over path algebras of quivers over algebras and generalized path algebras as applications of the main results on normally upper triangular gm algebras. At last, we give an example to show how all indecomposable Gorenstein projective modules over a given algebra are constructed by the result on generalized path algebras.
A Generalized Contou-Carrère Symbol and its Reciprocity Laws in Higher Dimensions

Abstract:We generalize the theory of Contou-Carrère symbols to higher dimensions. To an $(n+1)$-tuple $f_0,\dots,f_n \in A((t_1))\cdots((t_n))^{\times}$, where $A$ denotes a commutative algebra over a field $k$, we associate an element $(f_0,\dots,f_n) \in A^{\times}$, compatible with the higher tame symbol for $k = A$, and earlier constructions for $n = 1$, by Contou-Carrère, and $n = 2$ by Osipov--Zhu. Our definition is based on the notion of \emph{higher commutators} for central extensions of groups by spectra, thereby extending the approach of Arbarello--de Concini--Kac and Anderson--Pablos Romo. Following Beilinson--Bloch--Esnault for the case $n=1$, we allow $A$ to be arbitrary, and do not restrict to artinian $A$. Previous work of the authors on Tate objects in exact categories, and the index map in algebraic $K$-theory is essential in anchoring our approach to its predecessors. We also revisit categorical formal completions, in the context of stable $\infty$-categories. Using these tools, we describe the higher Contou-Carrère symbol as a composition of boundary maps in algebraic $K$-theory, and conclude the article by proving a version of Parshin--Kato reciprocity for higher Contou-Carrère symbols.

Infinite-dimensional representations of $U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ and the shadow world: quantum $6j$-symbols for Verma modules

Abstract:This paper initiates the study of invariants of links associated to infinite-dimensional representations of $U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ using graphical representation for quantum $6j$-symbols, the shadow world. We obtain formulae for $q3j$-symbols and $q6j$-symbols for Verma modules and study their properties. This hints at the structure of the possible target category for Reshetikhin-Turaev functor for such an invariant.

Abstract:We extend a result of Napp Avelli, van der Put, and Rocha with a system-theoretic interpretation to the noncommutative case: Let P be a f.g. projective module over a two-sided Noetherian domain. If P admits a subdirect product structure of the form P = M x_T L over a factor module T of grade at least 2 then the torsion-free factor of M (resp. L) is projective.

Abstract:Here we announce the construction and properties of a big commutative subalgebra of the Kirillov algebra attached to a finite dimensional irreducible representation of a complex semisimple Lie group. They are commutative finite flat algebras over the cohomology of the classifying space of the group. They are isomorphic with the equivariant intersection cohomology of affine Schubert varieties, endowing the latter with a new ring structure. Study of the finer aspects of the structure of the big algebras will also furnish the stalks of the intersection cohomology with ring structure, thus ringifying Lusztig's q-weight multiplicity polynomials i.e., certain affine Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials.
A generalization of uniserial modules and rings

Abstract:We introduce and study a nontrivial generalization of uniserial modules and rings. A module is called weakly uniserial if its submodules are comparable regarding embedding. Also, a right (resp., left) weakly uniserial ring is a ring which is weakly uniserial as a right (resp., left) module over itself. In this paper, in addition to providing the properties of weakly uniserial modules and rings, we show that every right R-module is weakly uniserial if and only if every 2-generated right R-module is weakly uniserial, if and only if R is a simple Artinian ring. Then it is determined which torsion-free abelian groups of rank 1 are weakly uniserial. Finally, when R is a commutative principal ideal domain, the structure of finitely generated weakly uniserial R-modules are completely determined.

Abstract:Let k be a perfect field of prime characteristic p , G a finite group scheme over k , and V a finite-dimensional G -module. Let S=SymV be the symmetric algebra with the standard grading. Let M be a Q -graded S -finite S -free (G,S) -module, and L be its S -reflexive graded (G,S) -submodule. Assume that the action of G on V is small in the sense that there exists some G -stable Zariski closed subset F of V of codimension two or more such that the action of G on V∖F is free. Generalizing the result of P. Symonds and the first author, we describe the Frobenius limit FL(LG) of the SG -module LG . In particular, we determine the generalized F -signature s(M,SG) for each indecomposable gradable reflexive SG -module M . In particular, we prove the fact that the F -signature s(SG)=s(SG,SG) equals 1/dim⁡k[G] if G is linearly reductive (already proved by Watanabe–Yoshida, Carvajal-Rojas–Schwede–Tucker, and Carvajal-Rojas) and 0 otherwise (some important cases has already been proved by Broer, Yasuda, Liedtke–Martin–Matsumoto).

Abstract:Let $R=\mathbb{K}[x_1,\dots,x_n]$ and $\mathfrak{a}_1,\dots,\mathfrak{a}_m$ are homogeneous ideals satisfying certain properties, which includes a description of the Noetherian symbolic Rees algebra. Then, we compute the Waldschmidt constant and resurgence and show that it exhibits a stronger version of the Chudnovsky and Demailly-type bounds. We further show that these properties are satisfied for classical varieties such as the generic determinantal ideals, minors of generic symmetric matrices, generic extended Hankel matrices, and ideal of pfaffians of skew-symmetric matrices.

Abstract:We study canonical models of $\left(\mathbb{Z}/k\mathbb{Z}\right)^n$- covers of the projective line, tamely ramified at exactly $n+1$ points each of index $k$, when $k,n\geq 2$ and the characteristic of the ground field $K$ is either zero or does not divide $k$. We determine explicitly the structure of the respective homogeneous coordinate ring first as a graded $K$-algebra, next as a $\left(\mathbb{Z}/k\mathbb{Z}\right)^n$- representation over $K$, and then as a graded module over the polynomial ring; in the latter case, we give generators for its first syzygy module, which we also decompose as a direct sum of irreducible representations.

Abstract:Let R be an associative ring with identity. We establish that the generalized Auslander-Reiten conjecture implies the Wakamatsu tilting conjecture. Furthermore, we prove that any Wakamatsu tilting R-module of finite projective dimension that is tensorly faithful is projective. By utilizing this result, we show the validity of the Wakamatsu tilting conjecture for R in two cases: when R is a left Artinian local ring or when it is the group ring of a finite group G over a commutative Artinian ring.

Abstract:We define a two-dimensional Contou-Carrère symbol, which is a deformation of the two-dimensional tame symbol and is a natural generalization of the (usual) one-dimensional Contou-Carrère symbol. We give several constructions of this symbol and investigate its properties. Using higher categorical methods, we prove reciprocity laws on algebraic surfaces for this symbol. We also relate the two-dimensional Contou-Carrère symbol to the two-dimensional class field theory.

Abstract:The well-known Loday-Quillen-Tsygan theorem calculates the Lie algebra homology of the infinite general linear Lie algebra $\mathfrak{gl}(A)$ over an unital associative algebra $A$. We generalize the Loday-Quillen-Tsygan theorem to an infinite Lie algebra associated with a (framed) quiver, where we assign to each vertex $v$ an infinite general linear Lie algebra $\mathfrak{gl}(A_v)$, to each edge $e$ an infinite matrix module and to each framed vertex a (anti)-fundamental representation. Given this data, each loop or path ending on framed vertices of the quiver defined a stratified factorization algebra over $S^1$ or $[0,1]$ respectively. We show that the corresponding Lie algebra homology can be expressed as summing the factorization homology over all loops and framed paths of the quiver.

Abstract:We introduce the class of sparse symmetric shifted monomial ideals. These ideals have linear quotients and their Betti numbers are computed. Using this, we prove that the symbolic powers of the generalized star configuration ideal are sequentially Cohen–Macaulay under some mild genericness assumption. With respect to these symbolic powers, we also consider the Harbourne–Huneke containment problem and establish the Demailly-like bound.

Abstract:Generalizing results of Morishita and Vogel, an explicit description of the triple Massey product for the Galois group $G_S(2)$ of the maximal 2-extension of $\mathbb{Q}$ unramified outside a finite set of prime numbers $S$ containing 2 is given in terms of Rédei symbols. We show that mild pro-2-groups with Zassenhaus invariant 3 occur as Galois groups of the form $G_S(2)$. Furthermore, a non-analytic mild fab pro-2-group having only 3 generators is constructed .

Abstract:We show that the quasiequational theory of a relatively congruence modular quasivariety of left R-modules is determined by a two-sided ideal in R together with a filter of left ideals. The two-sided ideal encodes the identities that hold in the quasivariety, while the filter of left ideals encodes the quasiidentities. The filter of left ideals defines a generalized notion of torsion.It follows from our result that if R is left Artinian, then any relatively congruence modular quasivariety of left R-modules is axiomatizable by a set of identities together with at most one proper quasiidentity, and if R is a commutative Artinian ring then any relatively congruence modular quasivariety of left R-modules is a variety.
Generalised 6j symbols over the category of $G$-graded vector spaces

Abstract:Any choice of a spherical fusion category defines an invariant of oriented closed 3-manifolds, which is computed by choosing a triangulation of the manifold and considering a state sum model that assigns a 6j symbol to every tetrahedron in this triangulation. This approach has been generalized to oriented closed 3-manifolds with defect data by Meusburger. In a recent paper, she constructed a family of invariants for such manifolds parametrised by the choice of certain spherical fusion categories, bimodule categories, finite bimodule functors and module natural transformations. Meusburger defined generalised 6j symbols for these objects, and introduces a state sum model that assigns a generalised 6j symbol to every tetrahedron in the triangulation of a manifold with defect data, where the type of 6j symbol used depends on what defect data occur within the tetrahedron. The present work provides non-trivial examples of suitable bimodule categories, bimodule functors and module natural transformation, all over categories of $G$-graded vector spaces. Our main result is the description of module functors in terms of matrices, which allows us to classify these functors when $G$ is a finite cyclic group. Furthermore, we calculate the generalised 6j symbols for categories of $G$-graded vector spaces, (bi-)module categories over such categories and (bi-)module functors.

Abstract:We describe the canonical module of a simplicial affine semigroup ring $\mathbb{K}[S]$ and its trace ideal. As a consequence, we characterize when $\mathbb{K}[S]$ is nearly Gorenstein in terms of arithmetic properties of the semigroup $S$. Then, we find some bounds for the Cohen-Macaulay type of $\mathbb{K}[S]$ when it is nearly Gorenstein. In particular, if it has codimension at most three, we prove that the Cohen-Macaulay type is at most three and this bound is sharp.

$v$-numbers of symbolic power filtrations

Abstract:We study the asymptotic behaviour of $v$-number and local $v$-numbers of Noetherian generalized symbolic power filtrations $\mathcal I=\{I_n\}$ in a Noetherian $\mathbb N$-graded domain and show that they are quasi-linear type. We provide sufficient conditions for the existence of the limits $\lim\limits_{n\to\infty}\frac{v(I_n)}{n}$ and $\lim\limits_{n\to\infty}\frac{v_\mathfrak p(I_n)}{n}$ for all $\mathfrak p\in\overline A(\mathcal I)$. We explicitly compute local $v$-numbers and $v$-numbers of symbolic powers of cover ideals of complete bipartite graphs, complete graphs, cycles, $K_m^s$ and compare them with their Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity. We give an example of a bipartite graph $\mathcal H$ that is not a complete bipartite graph and $v(J(\mathcal H))>bight(I(\mathcal H))-1$. This answers a question in [25, Question 3.12]. We show that for both connected bipartite graphs and connected non-bipartite graphs, the difference between the regularity and the $v$-number of the cover ideals can be arbitrarily large. This strengthens and gives an alternative proof of[25,Theorem 3.10]. We provide a counterexample to a conjecture [12, Conjecture 5.4] due to A. Ficarra and E. Sgroi.
