Abstract:Ramanujan's Master Theorem is a decades-old theorem in the theory of Mellin transforms which has wide applications in both mathematics and high energy physics. The unconventional method of Ramanujan in his proof of the theorem left convergence issues which were later settled by Hardy. Here we extend Ramanujan's theorem to meromorphic functions with poles of arbitrary order and observe that the new theorem produces analogues of Ramanujan's famous theorem. Moreover, we find that the theorem produces integral representations for meromorphic functions which are shown to satisfy interesting properties, opening up an avenue for further study.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is to extend Ramanujan's Master Theorem to meromorphic functions with poles of arbitrary order, and to observe how this extension yields results similar to Ramanujan's famous theorem. In addition, the author also finds that this new theorem can provide integral representations for meromorphic functions, and these integral representations satisfy interesting properties, thus opening up new avenues for further research. Specifically, the goals of the paper include: 1. **Extension of Ramanujan's Master Theorem**: By modifying the growth conditions in Hardy's proof, extend Ramanujan's Master Theorem from analytic functions to meromorphic functions with poles of arbitrary order. 2. **Generation of new integral representations**: Show how to obtain integral representations of meromorphic functions through this extension, and study the properties of these integral representations. 3. **Applications and generalization**: Explore the applications of these new results in different fields, such as computer algorithm analysis, quantum theory, asymptotic approximation, etc. ### Main contributions - **Theoretical extension**: Propose a generalized Ramanujan's Master Theorem applicable to meromorphic functions with poles of arbitrary order. - **Integral representation**: Give the integral representation forms of meromorphic functions and prove the logarithmic convexity of these integral representations. - **Application prospects**: Discuss the potential applications of these results in multiple disciplines, including computer science, physics, and mathematical analysis. ### Mathematical background Ramanujan's Master Theorem was originally a theorem about the Mellin Transform, used to calculate the Mellin Transform of certain functions. Hardy later solved the convergence problem in Ramanujan's proof, making the theorem more rigorous. This paper further extends on this basis to deal with a broader class of functions. ### Formula examples Some of the key formulas mentioned in the paper include: 1. **Ramanujan's Master Theorem**: \[ \int_0^\infty x^{s - 1}\left(\sum_{k = 0}^{\infty}\frac{(- 1)^k\phi(k)}{k!}x^k\right)dx=\phi(-s)\Gamma(s) \] where \(\phi\) is an analytic function and \(\Gamma\) is the gamma function. 2. **Generalized Ramanujan's Master Theorem**: \[ \int_0^\infty x^{s - 1}\left(\sum_{k = 0}^{\infty}\text{Res}_{z = - k}(h(z)\phi(k)x^k)\right)dx = h(s)\phi(-s) \] where \(h(z)\) is a meromorphic function with simple poles. 3. **Logarithmic convexity**: \[ h(\alpha)h(\beta+\gamma+\alpha)\geq h(\beta+\alpha)h(\gamma+\alpha) \] which indicates that the function \(h\) is logarithmically convex. ### Conclusion Through these extensions and new integral representations, the paper provides new tools and perspectives for the study of meromorphic functions and is expected to find wide applications in multiple fields.
