Abstract:In this paper, we consider the model of 3D incompressible Navier-Stokes equations and 2D supercritical Surface Quasi-Geostrophic equations with time oscillation in the nonlinear term. We obtain that there exists global smooth solution of these two equations for any initial data $u_0\in H^2$.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove the global regularity of smooth solutions to 2D surface quasi-geostrophic (SQG) equations with super-critical dissipation for a class of large initial data, where the velocity and temperature can be arbitrarily large in spaces $L^\infty(\mathbb{R}^2)$ and $H^3(\mathbb{R}^2)$. This result could be seen as an improvement work of Liu-Pan-Wu \cite{Liu}, for it's without any smallness hypothesis of the $L^\infty(\mathbb{R}^2)$ norm of the initial data.

Abstract:Motivated by [2], [3], we prove the global existence of solutions to the two-dimensional isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations with smooth initial data which are slowly varying in one direction and with initial density being away from vacuum. In particular, we present examples of initial data which generate unique global smooth solutions to 2D compressible Navier-Stokes equations with constant viscosity and with initial data which are neither small perturbation of some constant equilibrium state nor of small energy.

Abstract:We are concerned with the Cauchy problem to the three-dimensional full compressible Navier–Stokes equations with zero heat conductivity. Under the condition that the initial energy is small enough, global existence of strong solutions is established. Especially, the initial density is allowed to have large oscillations. The key to estimate the pointwise lower and upper bounds of the density lies in the handling of the energy conservation equation and the boundedness of the –norm of the gradient of the pressure.

Abstract:In this per, we consider a special class of initial data for the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with gravity. We show that, under such conditions, the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with gravity are globally well posed, and the velocity minus gravity term has finite energy. The important features of the initial data is that the velocity fields minus gravity term are almost parallel to the corresponding vorticity fields in a very large space domain. Abstract:This work is concerned with the global existence of large solutions to the three-dimensional dissipative fluid-dynamical model, which is a strongly coupled nonlinear nonlocal system characterized by the incompressible Navier--Stokes--Poisson--Nernst--Planck equations. Making full use of the algebraic structure of the system, we obtain the global existence of solutions without smallness assumptions imposed on the third component of the initial velocity field and the summation of initial densities of charged species. Abstract:In this paper, we investigate some priori estimates to provide the critical regularity criteria for incompressible Navier-Stokes equations on and super critical surface quasi-geostrophic equations on . Concerning the Navier-Stokes equations, we demonstrate that a Leray-Hopf solution is regular if , or in Lorentz space , with . Additionally, an alternative regularity condition is expressed as ( ), contingent upon a smallness assumption on the norm . For the surface quasi-geostrophic equations, we derive that a Leray-Hopf weak solution is smooth for any small enough. Similar to the case of Navier-Stokes equations, we derive regularity criteria in more refined spaces, i.e. Lorentz spaces and addition of two critical spaces , with smallness assumption on .

Abstract:This paper concerns the global regularity of strong solutions to the Cauchy problem of inhomogeneous incompressible Navier–Stokes fluids with vacuum, zero heat conduction, and density–temperature‐dependent viscosity. The existence of global‐in‐time strong solutions is proved when the initial energy is suitably small or the lower bound of the viscosity coefficient is large enough. Moreover, some exponential decay‐in‐time rates of strong solutions are obtained via time‐weighted a priori estimates.

Abstract:We study the existence of strong solutions to the initial value problem for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in $\mathbb{R}^N, N\geq 3$. Our investigation shows that local in-time classical solutions do not develop singularity as long as the initial velocity lies in $(L^2(\mathbb{R}^N))^N\cap (L^\infty(\mathbb{R}^N))^N$.

Abstract:Cannone \cite{Cannone} proved the global well-posedness of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations for a class of highly oscillating data. In this paper, we prove the global well-posedness for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the critical functional framework with the initial data close to a stable equilibrium. Especially, this result allows us to construct global solutions for the highly oscillating initial velocity. The proof relies on a new estimate for the hyperbolic/parabolic system with convection terms.

Abstract:Chemin, Gallagher, and Paicu obtained in 2010 a class of large initial data that generate a global smooth solution to the three-dimensional, incompressible Navier-Stokes equation. The data varies slowly in the vertical direction-it is expressed as a function of epsilon x(3)-and it has a norm that blows up as the small parameter goes to zero. This type of initial data can be regarded as an ill prepared case, in contrast with the well prepared case treated in earlier papers. The data was supposed to evolve in a special domain, namely Omega = T-h(2) x R-v. The choice of a periodic domain in the horizontal variable played an important role.The aim of this article is to study the case where the fluid evolves in the whole space R-3. In this case, we have to overcome the difficulties coming from very low horizontal frequencies. We consider in this paper an intermediate situation between the well prepared case and ill prepared situation (the norms of the horizontal components of initial data are small but the norm of the vertical component blows up as the small parameter goes to zero). The proof uses the analytical-type estimates and the special structure of the nonlinear term of the equation.

Global Existence and Asymptotic Behavior of Large Strong Solutions to the 3D Full Compressible Navier-Stokes Equations with Density-dependent Viscosities

Abstract:The purpose of this work is to investigate the Cauchy problem of global-in-time existence of large strong solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations for compressible viscous and heat conducting fluids. A class of density-dependent viscosity is considered. By introducing the modified effective viscous flux and using the bootstrap argument, we establish the global existence of large strong solution when the initial density is linearly equivalent to a large constant state. It is worthy of mentioning that, different from the work of Matsumura and Nishida (J. Math. Kyoto Univ., 1980) with small initial perturbation and the work of Huang and Li (Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., 2018) with small energy but possibly large oscillations, our global large strong solution is uniform-in-time in $H^2$ Sobolev space and the uniform-in-time bounds of both density and temperature are obtained without any restrictions on the size of initial velocity and initial temperature. In addition, when the initial data belongs to $L^{p_0}\cap H^2$ with $p_0\in[1,2]$, we establish the convergence of the solution to its associated equilibrium with an explicit decay rate whether the initial data close to or far away from the equilibrium in the whole space. As a result, we give a specific large strong solution in Sobolev space satisfying the global existence assumptions proposed by Villani (Mem. Amer. Math. Soc., 2009), He, Huang, and Wang (Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., 2019), Zhang and Zi (Ann. Inst. H. Poincare Anal. Non Lineaire, 2020) in studying the asymptotic behavior of solution, and extend the second above result to the nonisentropic case. This paper considers for the first time the application of Fourier splitting method to Navier-Stokes equations with variable viscosity.

Abstract:This paper proves that the 3-D Navier-Stokes system has a unique global solution under an assumpution on the initial data. That allow the data to be arbitrarily large in the scale invariant space \dot{B}_{\infty,\infty}^{-1}, which contains all the known spaces in which there is a global solution for small data. Moreover, this result provides various examples of arbitrarily large initial data giving rise to global solutions.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the global well-posedness of three-dimensional Navier-Stokes system with the axisymmetric initial data and with various types of smallness conditions on the swirl component u(0)(theta) of the initial velocity field. In particular, we proved that if u(0)(theta)1(r <= M) is sufficiently small (compared with parallel to u(0)parallel to(L2), parallel to omega(theta)(0)parallel to(L2), and parallel to omega(theta)(0)/r parallel to(L2)) for M large enough, then (1.1) has a unique global smooth solution. Furthermore, we prove that as long as the local axisymmetric smooth solution u satisfying parallel to u(theta)1(r <=delta)parallel to(L alpha)((0, T); L-beta) < +infinity for delta > 0, 2/alpha + 3/beta < 1, beta > 6, or (alpha, beta) =(4, 6), and any T < infinity, u will not blow-up in finite time.
