Abstract:We study a derived version of Laumon's homogeneous Fourier transform, which exchanges G_m-equivariant sheaves on a derived vector bundle and its dual. In this context, the Fourier transform exhibits a duality between derived and stacky phenomena. This is the first in a series of papers on derived microlocal sheaf theory.

Abstract:Building on Olander's work on algebraic spaces, we prove Orlov's representability theorem relating fully faithful functors and Fourier--Mukai transforms between the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves to the case of smooth, proper, and tame algebraic stacks. This extends previous results of Kawamata for Deligne--Mumford stacks with generically trivial stabilizers and projective coarse moduli spaces.

Abstract:In this paper, assume that $ H $ is a Hopf algebra and $ A/B $ is an $ H $-Galois extension. Firstly, by introducing the concept of an $ H $-stable tilting complex $ T_{\bullet} $ over $ B $, we show that $ T_{\bullet}\otimes_BA $ is a tilting complex over $ A $ and a derived equivalence between two $ H $-module algebras can be extended to smash product algebras under some conditions. Then we observe that $ 0\rightarrow {\rm End}_{\mathcal{D}^b(B)}(T_{\bullet})\rightarrow {\rm End}_{\mathcal{D}^b(A)}(T_{\bullet}\otimes_BA) $ is an $ H $-Galois Frobenius extension if $ A/B $ is an $ H $-Galois Frobenius extension. Finally, for any perfect recollement of derived categories of $ H $-module algebras, we apply the above results to construct a perfect recollement of derived categories of their smash product algebras and generalize it to $ n $-recollements.

Abstract:In the present article, we study the integral aspects of the Fourier transform of an abelian variety $A$ over a field $k$, using étale motivic cohomology, following the ideas and theory given by Moonen, Polishchuk and later by Beckman and de Gaay Fortman. We prove that there exists a PD-structure over the positive degree part of the étale Chow ring $\text{CH}^{\text{ét}}_{>0}(A)$ with respect to the Pontryagin product.

Abstract:Abstract We develop a general theory of higher semiadditive Fourier transforms that includes both the classical discrete Fourier transform for finite abelian groups at height $n=0$ , as well as a certain duality for the $E_n$ -(co)homology of $\pi $ -finite spectra, established by Hopkins and Lurie, at heights $n\ge 1$ . We use this theory to generalize said duality in three different directions. First, we extend it from $\mathbb {Z}$ -module spectra to all (suitably finite) spectra and use it to compute the discrepancy spectrum of $E_n$ . Second, we lift it to the telescopic setting by replacing $E_n$ with $T(n)$ -local higher cyclotomic extensions, from which we deduce various results on affineness, Eilenberg–Moore formulas and Galois extensions in the telescopic setting. Third, we categorify their result into an equivalence of two symmetric monoidal $\infty $ -categories of local systems of $K(n)$ -local $E_n$ -modules [-12pc] and relate it to (semiadditive) redshift phenomena. Abstract:We develop the theory of derived differential geometry in terms of bundles of curved $L_\infty[1]$-algebras, i.e. dg manifolds of positive amplitudes. We prove the category of derived manifolds is a category of fibrant objects. Therefore, we can make sense of "homotopy fibered product" and "derived intersection" of submaifolds in a smooth manifold in the homotopy category of derived manifolds. We construct a factorization of the diagonal using path spaces. First we construct an infinite-dimensional factorization using actual path spaces motivated by the AKSZ construction, then we cut down to finite dimensions using the Fiorenza-Manetti method. The main ingredient is the homotopy transfer theorem for curved $L_\infty[1]$-algebras. We also prove the inverse function theorem for derived manifolds, and investigate the relationship between weak equivalence and quasi-isomorphism for derived manifolds.

Abstract:We calculate the local Fourier transformations for a class of $\bar{\mathbb Q}_\ell$-sheaves. In particular, we verify a conjecture of Laumon and Malgrange. As an application, we calculate the local monodromy of $\ell$-adic hypergeometric sheaves introduced by Katz. We also discuss the characteristic $p$ analogue of the Turrittin-Levelt Theorem for $D$-modules. The method used in this paper can be used to show a conjecture of Ramero which states that the Fourier transformation of an analytic sheaf with meromorphic ramification still has meromorphic ramification.

Derived equivalence of algebras induced by their trivial extensions

Abstract:The bounded derived category of a finite dimensional algebra of finite global dimension is equivalent the stable category of $\mathbb{Z}$-graded modules over its trivial extension \cite{Happel}. In particular, given two derived equivalent finite dimensional algebras $\Lambda_{1}$ and $\Lambda_{2}$ of finite global dimension, their trivial extensions are stable equivalent. The converse is not true in general. The goal of this paper is to study cases where derived equivalences between $\Lambda_{1}$ and $\Lambda_{2}$ arise from an equivalence of categories involving their trivial extension. Thanks to a graded version of Happel's theorem, we show that one can construct a $\mathbb{Z}$-grading on the $\Lambda_{i}$ so that such an equivalence involving their trivial extension yield a derived equivalence between the category of $\mathbb{Z}$-graded module over $\Lambda_{i}$. We describe explicitly the tilting object associated to this derived equivalence (in the non-graded and in the graded case) for triangular matrix algebras. Finally, we apply these results to the particular case of gentle algebras. In this context, we study how one can obtain a derived equivalence between $\Lambda_{1}$ and $\Lambda_{2}$ (in the non-graded and the graded case) from graded generalized Kauer moves.

Abstract:Let $A(G)$ and $B(H)$ be the Fourier and Fourier-Stieltjes algebras of locally compact groups $G$ and $H$, respectively. Ilie and Spronk have shown that continuous piecewise affine maps $\alpha: Y \subseteq H\rightarrow G$ induce completely bounded homomorphisms $\Phi:A(G)\rightarrow B(H)$, and that when $G$ is amenable, every completely bounded homomorphism arises in this way. This generalised work of Cohen in the abelian setting. We believe that there is a gap in a key lemma of the existing argument, which we do not see how to repair. We present here a different strategy to show the result, which instead of using topological arguments, is more combinatorial and makes use of measure theoretic ideas, following more closely the original ideas of Cohen.

Fourier transforms and a filtration on the Lagrangian cobordism group of tori

Abstract:Given a polarized tropical affine torus, we show that the fibered Lagrangian cobordism group of the corresponding symplectic manifold admits a natural geometric filtration of finite length. This contrasts with results of Sheridan-Smith in dimension four and the present author in higher dimensions, who showed that such group is infinite-dimensional. In the second half of this paper, we construct a Fourier transform between Fukaya categories of dual symplectic tori. We show that, under homological mirror symmetry, it corresponds to the Fourier transform between derived categories of coherent sheaves of dual abelian varieties due to Mukai. We use this to show how our filtration is mirror to the Bloch filtration on Chow groups of abelian varieties, but the results may be of broader interest.

Abstract:On a Weierstraß elliptic surface X , we define a "limit" of Bridgeland stability conditions, denoted as -stability, by moving the polarisation towards the fiber direction in the ample cone while keeping the volume of the polarisation fixed. We describe conditions under which a slope stable torsion-free sheaf is taken by a Fourier-Mukai transform to a -stable object, and describe a modification upon which a -semistable object is taken by the inverse Fourier-Mukai transform to a slope semistable torsion-free sheaf. We also study wall-crossing for Bridgeland stability, and show that 1-dimensional twisted Gieseker semistable sheaves are taken by a Fourier-Mukai transform to Bridgeland semistable objects.

Abstract:For a Fell bundle $\mathcal{B}=\left\{B_{s}\right\}_{s \in G}$ over a discrete group $G$, we use representations theory of $\mathcal{B}$ to construct the Fourier and Fourier-Stieltjes spaces $A(\mathcal{B})$ and $B(\mathcal{B})$ of $\mathcal B$. When $\mathcal B$ is saturated we show $B(\mathcal{B})$ is canonically isomorphic to the dual space of the cross sectional $C^{*}$-algebra $C^{*}(\mathcal{B})$ of $\mathcal{B}$. When there is a compatible family of co-multiplications on the fibers we show that $B(\mathcal{B})$ and $A(\mathcal{B})$ are Banach algebras. This holds in particular if either the fiber $B_e$ at identity is a Hopf $C^*$-algebra or $\mathcal{B}$ is the Fell bundle of a $C^*$-dynamical system. When $A(\mathcal{B})$ is a Banach algebra with bounded approximate identity, we show that $B(\mathcal{B})$ is the multiplier algebra of $A(\mathcal{B})$. We prove a Leptin type theorem by showing that amenability of $G$ implies the existence of bounded approximate identity for $A(\mathcal{B})$ for bundles coming from a $C^*$-dynamical system $(A,G,\gamma)$. The converse is left as an open problem.

Fourier transform and Radon transform for mixed Hodge modules

Abstract:We give a generalization to bi-filtered $\mathcal D$-modules underlying mixed Hodge modules of the relation between microlocalization along $f_1,...,f_r \in \mathcal O_X(X)$ and vanishing cycles along $g = \sum_{i=1}^r y_i f_i$. This leads to an interesting isomorphism between localization triangles. As an application, we use these results to compare the $k$-plane Radon transform and the Fourier-Laplace transform for mixed Hodge modules. This is then applied to the Hodge module structure of certain GKZ systems.

Abstract:Abstract We explicitly identify the algebra generated by symplectic Fourier–Deligne transforms (i.e., convolution with Kazhdan–Laumon sheaves) acting on the Grothendieck group of perverse sheaves on the basic affine space $G/U$, answering a question originally raised by A. Polishchuk. We show it is isomorphic to a distinguished subalgebra, studied by I. Marin, of the generalized algebra of braids and ties (defined in Type $A$ by F. Aicardi and J. Juyumaya and generalized to all types by Marin), providing a connection between geometric representation theory and an algebra defined in the context of knot theory. Our geometric interpretation of this algebra entails some algebraic consequences: we obtain a short and type-independent geometric proof of the braid relations for Juyumaya’s generators of the Yokonuma–Hecke algebra (previously proved case-by-case in types $A, D, E$ by Juyumaya and separately for types $B, C, F_{4}, G_{2}$ by Juyumaya and S. S. Kannan), a natural candidate for an analogue of a Kazhdan–Lusztig basis, and finally an explicit formula for the dimension of Marin’s algebra in Type $A_{n}$ (previously only known for $n \leq 4$).

Semihomogenous vector bundles, $\mathbb Q$-twisted sheaves, duality, and linear systems on abelian varieties

Abstract:In this paper we point out the natural relation between $\mathbb Q$-twisted objects of the derived category of abelian varieties, cohomological rank functions, and semihomogeneous vector bundles. We apply this to two basic classes of corresponding objects via the Fourier-Mukai-Poincaré transform: positive twists of the ideal sheaf of one point, and evaluation complexes of ample semihomogeneous vector bundles. This leads to $\mathbb Q^{\ge 0}$- graded section modules associated to line bundles on abelian varieties (containing the usual section rings), built by means of semihomogeneous vector bundles. We prove a duality relation between such section modules associated to dual polarizations. Other applications include formulas relating the thresholds of relevant cohomological rank functions appearing in this context. As a consequence we produce non-trivial obstructions to surjectivity of multiplication maps of global sections of certain line bundles.

Abstract:In this paper we study the derivatives of Frobenius and the derivatives of Hodge weights for families of Galois representations with triangulations. We generalize the Fontaine-Mazur L-invariant and use it to build a formula which is a generalization of the Greenberg-Stevens-Colmez formula. For the purpose of proving this formula we show two auxiliary results called projection vanishing property and "projection vanishing implying L-invariants" property.

Abstract:We prove several results about integral versions of Fourier duality for abelian schemes, making use of Pappas's work on integral Grothendieck-Riemann-Roch. If $S$ is smooth quasi-projective of dimension $d$ over a field and $\pi \colon X\to S$ is a $g$-dimensional abelian scheme, we prove, under very mild assumptions on $X/S$, that all classical results about Fourier duality, including the existence of a Beauville decomposition, are valid for the Chow ring $\mathrm{CH}(X;\Lambda)$ with coefficients in the ring $\Lambda = \mathbb{Z}[1/(2g+d+1)!]$. If $X$ admits a polarization $\theta$ of degree $\nu(\theta)^2$ we further construct an $\mathfrak{sl}_2$-action on $\mathrm{CH}(X;\Lambda_\theta)$ with $\Lambda_\theta = \Lambda[1/\nu(\theta)]$, and we show that $\mathrm{CH}(X;\Lambda_\theta)$ is a sum of copies of the symmetric powers $\mathrm{Sym}^n(\mathrm{St})$ of the $2$-dimensional standard representation, for $n=0,\ldots,g$. For an abelian variety over an algebraically closed field, we use our results to produce torsion classes in $\mathrm{CH}^i(X;\Lambda_\theta)$ for every $i\in \{1,\ldots,g\}$.

Abstract:This paper presents a systematic study for the general theory of non-Abelian Fourier series of integrable functions on the homogeneous space $\mathbf{\Gamma}\backslash SE(d)$, where $SE(d)$ is the special Euclidean group in dimension $d$, and $\mathbf{\mathbf{\Gamma}}$ is a discrete and co-compact subgroup of $SE(d)$. Suppose that $\mu$ is the finite $SE(d)$-invariant measure on the right coset space $\mathbf{\Gamma}\backslash SE(d)$, normalized with respect to Weil's formula. The analytic aspects of the proposed method works for any given orthonormal basis of the Hilbert function space $L^2(\mathbf{\Gamma}\backslash SE(d),\mu)$. The paper is concluded with some convolution and Plancherel formulas.
