Abstract:Given a polarized tropical affine torus, we show that the fibered Lagrangian cobordism group of the corresponding symplectic manifold admits a natural geometric filtration of finite length. This contrasts with results of Sheridan-Smith in dimension four and the present author in higher dimensions, who showed that such group is infinite-dimensional.
In the second half of this paper, we construct a Fourier transform between Fukaya categories of dual symplectic tori. We show that, under homological mirror symmetry, it corresponds to the Fourier transform between derived categories of coherent sheaves of dual abelian varieties due to Mukai. We use this to show how our filtration is mirror to the Bloch filtration on Chow groups of abelian varieties, but the results may be of broader interest.
What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The main problem that this paper attempts to solve is the structural characteristics of the Lagrangian cobordism group under specific conditions. Specifically:
1. **Research object**: The paper focuses on the fibered Lagrangian cobordism group of symplectic manifolds corresponding to the polarized tropical affine torus.
2. **Known background**: According to Sheridan - Smith's research, in the four - dimensional case and in higher dimensions, such groups are infinite - dimensional. This means that in these cases, it is very difficult to understand or calculate the specific structure of this group.
3. **Proposed problem**: The author of this paper attempts to explore whether some structural understanding can be provided for this infinite - dimensional Lagrangian cobordism group when the base B is a polarized tropical affine torus. In particular, the author introduces a geometric filtration and proves that this filtration terminates in a finite number of steps.
4. **Main result**: The core achievement of the paper is to prove that for an n - dimensional polarized tropical affine torus \(B\), there exists a parallelotope filtration for the fibered Lagrangian cobordism group of its corresponding symplectic manifold \(X(B)\), and this filtration becomes zero after the \((n + 1)\) - th step, that is:
\[
F^{n+1}\text{Cob}^{\text{fib}}(X) = 0
\]
This means that although the overall group is infinite - dimensional, in this way, the understanding of this group can be simplified to a certain extent.
5. **Methods and tools**: To achieve this goal, the author uses Fourier transform techniques to construct an equivalence relationship between Fukaya categories and shows the corresponding relationship of this construction under homological mirror symmetry. In addition, it also explores how to connect this problem with the Chow group of algebraic varieties, especially the Bloch filtration.
In summary, this paper aims to introduce a new geometric filtration method for the Lagrangian cobordism group on a specific type of symplectic manifolds, thereby providing new perspectives and tools for understanding such infinite - dimensional groups. This not only helps to deepen our understanding of symplectic topology but also opens up new directions for further research in related fields.
