Abstract:In this paper we discuss some properties of Baxter's TQ equation for the eight-vertex elliptic Sklyanin algebra it its compact representation based on the elliptic Gamma-functions. As the main result, we establish the structure of the spectrum of the corresponding quantum integrable model.

Abstract:We present a generalization of the master solution to the quantum Yang-Baxter equation (obtained recently in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1006.0651" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1006.0651">arXiv:1006.0651</a>) to the case of multi-component continuous spin variables taking values on a circle. The Boltzmann weights are expressed in terms of the elliptic gamma-function. The associated solvable lattice model admits various equivalent descriptions, including an interaction-round-a-face formulation with positive Boltzmann weights. In the quasi-classical limit the model leads to a new series of classical discrete integrable equations on planar graphs.

Abstract:Let [Formula: see text] be an elliptic curve, and let [Formula: see text] be a point on [Formula: see text]. In his groundbreaking paper [E. K. Sklyanin, Some algebraic structures connected with the Yang-Baxter equation. Representations of a quantum algebra, Funktsional. Anal. i Prilozhen. 17(4) (1983) 34–48], Sklyanin introduced a family of algebras [Formula: see text], consisting of four generators and six relations. These algebras hold profound connections with his work on the Quantum Scattering Method. Subsequently, Feigin and Odesskii defined algebras [Formula: see text] for any number of generators [Formula: see text] [Sklyanin’s algebras associated to elliptic curves, Inst. Theor. Phys., Akad. Nauk Ukrain. SSR, Kiev (1988)] and asserted that, for [Formula: see text], they coincide with Sklyanin’s algebras. In this paper, we provide an explicit isomorphism between the algebras [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. Abstract:A summary of the construction procedure of generalized versions of Baxter's Q-operator is given. Illustrated by several figures and diagrams the use of representation theory is explained step-by-step avoiding technical details. The relation with the infinite-dimensional non-abelian symmetries of the six-vertex model at roots of unity is discussed and parallels with the eight-vertex case outlined.

Abstract:We show that elliptic solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation can be obtained from triple Massey products on elliptic curve. We introduce the associative version of this equation which has two spectral parameters and construct its elliptic solutions. We also study some degenerations of these solutions.

Abstract:Three examples of free field constructions for the vertex operators of the elliptic quantum group ${\cal A}_{q,p}(\hat{sl}_2)$ are obtained. Two of these (for $p^{1/2}=\pm q^{3/2},p^{1/2}=-q^2$) are based on representation theories of the deformed Virasoro algebra, which correspond to the level 4 and level 2 $Z$-algebra of Lepowsky and Wilson. The third one ($p^{1/2}=q^{3}$) is constructed over a tensor product of a bosonic and a fermionic Fock spaces. The algebraic structure at $p^{1/2}=q^{3}$, however, is not related to the deformed Virasoro algebra. Using these free field constructions, an integral formula for the correlation functions of Baxter's eight-vertex model is obtained. This formula shows different structure compared with the one obtained by Lashkevich and Pugai.

Abstract:The Baxterization process for the dynamical Yang-Baxter equation is studied. We introduce the local dynamical Hecke ,Temperley-Lieb and Birman-Murakami-Wenzl operators, then by inserting spectral parameters, from each representation of these operators, we get dynamical R matrix under some conditions. As applications, we reformulate trigonometric degeneration of elliptic quantum group representations and also get dynamical R matrix for critical ADE integrable lattice models. Through Baxterization, we construct some one dimensional integrable systems that are dynamical version of the Heisenberg spin chain.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to study the solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation in the endomorphism semigroup of the tensor product of a vector space. As preparation, we introduce the concepts of quasi-braided almost bialgebra (see also [10]) and quasi-cobraided almost bialgebra, and discuss some of their properties. In particular, it is shown that the quasi-R-matrix R of every quasi-braided almost weak Hopf algebra is regular under von Neumann's meaning. The solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation in the endomorphism semigroups are constructed respectively from every quasi-braided almost bialgebra and every quasi-cobraided almost bialgebra. As examples, we explain how to build solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation from some weak Hopf algebras and all Clifford monoids. Finally, the FRT construction is given so-as to build every solution of the Yang-Baxter equation from a quasi-cobraided bialgebra.

Abstract:We resolve the `baxterization' problem with the help of the automorphism group of the Yang-Baxter (resp. star-triangle, tetrahedron, \dots) equations. This infinite group of symmetries is realized as a non-linear (birational) Coxeter group acting on matrices, and exists as such, {\em beyond the narrow context of strict integrability}. It yields among other things an unexpected elliptic parametrization of the non-integrable sixteen-vertex model. It provides us with a class of discrete dynamical systems, and we address some related problems, such as characterizing the complexity of iterations.

Abstract:For any algebra two families of coloured Yang-Baxter operators are constructed, thus producing solutions to the two-parameter quantum Yang-Baxter equation. An open problem about a system of functional equations is stated. The matrix forms of these operators for two and three dimensional algebras are computed. A FRT bialgebra for one of these families is presented. Solutions for the one-parameter quantum Yang-Baxter equation are derived and a Yang-Baxter system constructed.

Abstract:The Yang-Baxter equation first appeared in theoretical physics, in a paper by the Nobel laureate C. N. Yang, and in statistical mechanics, in R. J. Baxter’s work. Later, it turned out that this equation plays a crucial role in: quantum groups, knot theory, braided categories, analysis of integrable systems, quantum mechanics, non-commutative descent theory, quantum computing, non-commutative geometry, etc. Many scientists have found solutions for the Yang-Baxter equation, obtaining qualitative results (using the axioms of various algebraic structures) or quantitative results (usually using computer calculations). However, the full classification of its solutions remains an open problem. In this paper, we present the (set-theoretical) Yang-Baxter equation, we sketch the proof of a new theorem, we state some problems, and discuss about directions for future research.

Abstract:Bethe Ansatz was discoverd in 1932. Half a century later its algebraic structure was unearthed: Yang-Baxter equation was discovered, as well as its multidimensional generalizations [tetrahedron equation and $d$-simplex equations]. Here we describe a universal method to solve these equations using Clifford algebras. The Yang-Baxter equation ($d=2$), Zamalodchikov's tetrahedron equation ($d=3$) and the Bazhanov-Stroganov equation ($d=4$) are special cases. Our solutions form a linear space. This helps us to include spectral parameters. Potential applications are discussed.

Abstract:We introduce new methods to describe admissible states of the six-vertex and the eight-vertex lattice models of statistical mechanics. For the six-vertex model, we view the admissible states as differential forms on a grid graph. This yields a new proof of the correspondence between admissible states and 3-colorings of a rectangular grid. For the eight-vertex model, we interpret the set of admissible states as an $\mathbb{F}_2$-vector space. This viewpoint lets us enumerate the set of admissible states. Finally, we find necessary conditions for a Yang-Baxter equation to hold for the general eight-vertex model.

Abstract:We derive new holonomic q-difference equations for the matrix coefficients of the products of intertwining operators for quantum affine algebra U(q)(g) representations of level k. We study the connection operators between the solutions with different asymptotics and show that they are given by products of elliptic theta functions. We prove that the connection operators automatically provide elliptic solutions of Yang-Baxter equations in the "face" formulation for any type of Lie algebra g and arbitrary finite-dimensional representations of U(q)(g). We conjecture that these solutions of the Yang-Baxter equations cover all elliptic solutions known in the contexts of IRF models of statistical mechanics. We also conjecture that in a special limit when q --> 1 these solutions degenerate again into U(q')(g) solutions with q' = exp[GRAPHICS]We also study the simplest examples of solutions of our holonomic difference equations associated to U(q)(sl(2)) and find their expressions in terms of basic (or q-)-hypergeometric series. In the special case of spin -1/2 representations, we demonstrate that the connection matrix yields a famous Baxter solution of the Yang-Baxter equation corresponding to the solid-on-solid model of statistical mechanics.

Abstract:Using the point fusion procedure we obtain the new integrable systems from the Elliptic Schlesinger system (ESS). These new systems have the pole orders higher than one in the matrix of the Lax operator. Quadratic Poisson algebras on the phase space of the new systems generalize the Sklyanin algebras and have the graduated structure.
