Abstract:We continue the work of [10], studying properties of digital images determined by fixed point invariants. We introduce pointed versions of invariants that were introduced in [10]. We introduce freezing sets and cold sets to show how the existence of a fixed point set for a continuous self-map restricts the map on the complement of the fixed point set.

Abstract:In this note, a couple of unclear and unnecessary points made in the two existing papers by Liu and Li (Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 136:1213-1220, 2008) and Xiang and Yuan (Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 139:1033-1044, 2011) are first pointed out and clarified. Second, a few additional remarks are observed. Upon these observations, three corresponding refined and unified Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorems in strong topology setup are formulated. As an illustration, several new classes of Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorems are obtained, which expand and complement some known related results by Agarwal, O’Regan and Taoudi (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2010:243716, 2010) and Edmunds (Math. Ann. 174:233-239, 1967).

Abstract:We develop new tools for the construction of fixed point sets in digital topology. We define excludable points and show that these may be excluded from all freezing sets. We show that articulation points are excludable. We also present results concerning points that must belong to a freezing set and often are easily recognized. These include points of degree~1 and some local extrema.

Abstract:In this note, by means of the technique of measures of weak noncompactness, we establish a generalized form of fixed point theorem for the sum of T + S in weak topology setups of a metrizable locally convex space, where S is not weakly compact, I - T allows to be noninvertible, and T is not necessarily continuous. The obtained results unify and significantly extend a lot of previously known extensions of Krasnoselskii fixed-point theorems. The analysis presented here reveals the essential characteristics of the Krasnoselskii type fixed-point theorem in weak topology settings.
On digital H-spaces

Abstract:In this article, we investigate properties of digital H-spaces in the graph theoretic model of digital topology. As in prior work, the results obtained often depend fundamentally on the choice between NP$_1$ and NP$_2$ product adjacencies. We explore algebraic properties of digital H-spaces preserved under digital homotopy equivalence, and we give a general construction that produces examples of digital H-spaces which are not homotopy-equivalent to digital topological groups in both categories. Further, we show that this construction essentially classifies all NP$_2$-digital H-spaces. In a short appendix, we resolve a question that was left unresolved in [17], and complete the full classification of digital topological groups.
