Abstract:We recall the definition of quasinearly subharmonic functions, point out that this function class includes, among others, subharmonic functions, quasisubharmonic functions, nearly subharmonic functions and essentially almost subharmonic functions. It is shown that the sum of two quasinearly subharmonic functions may not be quasinearly subharmonic. Moreover, we characterize the harmonicity via quasinearly subharmonicity.

Abstract:We prove an analogue of Yau's Caccioppoli-type inequality for nonnegative subharmonic functions on graphs. We then obtain a Liouville theorem for harmonic or non-negative subharmonic functions of class Lq, 1<=q<∞, on any graph, and a quantitative version for q > 1. Also, we provide counterexamples for Liouville theorems for 0 < q < 1.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce a new class of harmonic univalent functions with respect to k-symmetric points by using a newly-defined q-analog of the derivative operator for complex harmonic functions. For this harmonic univalent function class, we derive a sufficient condition, a representation theorem, and a distortion theorem. We also apply a generalized q-Bernardi–Libera–Livingston integral operator to examine the closure properties and coefficient bounds. Furthermore, we highlight some known consequences of our main results. In the concluding part of the article, we have finally reiterated the well-demonstrated fact that the results presented in this article can easily be rewritten as the so-called (p,q)-variations by making some straightforward simplifications, and it will be an inconsequential exercise, simply because the additional parameter p is obviously unnecessary.

Abstract:We study boundary values of harmonic functions in spaces of quasianalytic functionals and spaces of ultradistributions of non-quasianalytic type. As an application, we provide a new approach to Hörmander's support theorem for quasianalytic functionals. Our main technical tool is a description of ultradifferentiable functions by almost harmonic functions, a concept that we introduce in this article. We work in the setting of ultradifferentiable classes defined via weight matrices. In particular, our results simultaneously apply to the two standard classes defined via weight sequences and via weight functions.

Abstract:We prove the following result. If $f$ is a harmonic quasiconformal mapping between two Jordan domains $D$ and $\Omega$ having $\mathscr{C}^1$ boundaries, then the function $f$ is globally Hölder continuous for every $\alpha<1$ but it is not Lipschitz in general. This extends and improves a classical theorem of S. Warschawski for conformal mappings.

Abstract:The motive behind this article is to apply the notions of q-derivative by introducing some new families of harmonic functions associated with the symmetric circular region. We develop a new criterion for sense preserving and hence the univalency in terms of q-differential operator. The necessary and sufficient conditions are established for univalency for this newly defined class. We also discuss some other interesting properties such as distortion limits, convolution preserving, and convexity conditions. Further, by using sufficient inequality, we establish sharp bounds of the real parts of the ratios of harmonic functions to its sequences of partial sums. Some known consequences of the main results are also obtained by varying the parameters.
On a problem of Pavlović involving harmonic quasiconformal mappings

Abstract:We obtain a sharp result on order of certain affine and linear invariant families of harmonic quasiconformal mappings with bounded Schwarzian norm. This problem is motivated by the work of Chuaqui, Hernández and Martín [Math. Ann. 367: 1099--1122, 2017]. Firstly, for $K\ge1$, we construct a harmonic $K$-quasiconformal counterpart of the classical Koebe function and use it to formulate the corresponding conjectures. Then we consider Hardy spaces $H^p$ of harmonic quasiconformal mappings by applying results for quasiconformal mappings obtained by Astala and Koskela [Pure Appl. Math. Q. 7: 19--50, 2011]. In particular, we determine the optimal order of the family of harmonic quasiconformal mappings with bounded Schwarzian norm to belong to a harmonic Hardy space. This partially solves an open problem posed by Pavlović in 2014. Finally, we derive pre-Schwarzian and Schwarzian norm estimates of certain harmonic mappings.

Abstract:This paper has two goals: to present some new results that are necessary for further study and applications of quasi-linear functionals, and, by combining known and new results, to serve as a convenient single source for anyone interested in quasi-linear functionals on locally compact non-compact spaces or on compact spaces. We study signed and positive quasi-linear functionals paying close attention to singly generated subalgebras. The paper gives representation theorems for quasi-linear functionals on $C_c(X)$ and for bounded quasi-linear functionals on $C_0(X)$ on a locally compact space, and for quasi-linear functionals on $C(X)$ on a compact space. There is an order-preserving bijection between quasi-linear functionals and compact-finite topological measures, which is also "isometric" when topological measures are finite. Finally, we further study properties of quasi-linear functionals and give an explicit example of a quasi-linear functional.

Abstract:The classical Bohr theorem and its subsequent generalizations have become active areas of research, with investigations conducted in numerous function spaces. Let $\{\psi_n(r)\}_{n=0}^\infty$ be a sequence of non-negative continuous functions defined on $[0,1)$ such that the series $\sum_{n=0}^\infty \psi_n(r)$ converges locally uniformly on the interval $[0, 1)$. The main objective of this paper is to establish several sharp versions of generalized Bohr inequalities for the class of $K$-quasiconformal sense-preserving harmonic mappings on the unit disk $\D := \{z \in \mathbb{C} : |z| < 1\}$. To achieve these, we employ the sequence of functions $\{\psi_n(r)\}_{n=0}^\infty$ in the majorant series rather than the conventional dependence on the basis sequence $\{r^n\}_{n=0}^\infty$. As applications, we derive a number of previously published results as well as a number of sharply improved and refined Bohr inequalities for harmonic mappings in $\D$. Moreover, we obtain a convolution counterpart of the Bohr theorem for harmonic mapping within the context of the Gaussian hypergeometric function

Abstract:We prove a contraction property for certain classes of smooth functions, whose absolute values of elements are log-subharmonic functions in the unit ball, thus extending the results of Kulikov to higher-dimensional space (GAFA (2022)). Moreover, by applying those results we get some new results for harmonic mappings in the complex plane.

Abstract:In this note we study the plurifinely locally maximal plurifinely plurisubharmonic functions and improve some known results on these functions. We prove in particular that any locally bounded plurifinely locally maximal plurifinely plurisubharmonic function is maximal, and that any finite plurisubharmonic function on an open subset of $\mathbb{C}^n$ is maximal if and only if it is plurifinely locally maximal.

Abstract:By making use of the concept of basic (or q-) calculus, various families of q-extensions of starlike functions of order α in the open unit disk U were introduced and studied from many different viewpoints and perspectives. In this paper, we first investigate the relationship between various known classes of q-starlike functions that are associated with the Janowski functions. We then introduce and study a new subclass of q-starlike functions that involves the Janowski functions. We also derive several properties of such families of q-starlike functions with negative coefficients including (for example) distortion theorems.

Abstract:In this paper, we study quasiconcavity properties of solutions of Dirichlet problems related to modified nonlinear Schrödinger equations of the type $$ -{\rm div}\big(a(u) \nabla u\big) + \frac{a'(u)}{2} |\nabla u|^2 = f(u) \quad \hbox{in $\Omega$}, $$ where $\Omega$ is a convex bounded domain of $\mathbb{R}^N$. In particular, we search for a function $\varphi:\mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}$, modeled on $f\in C^1$ and $a\in C^1$, which makes $\varphi(u)$ concave. Moreover, we discuss the optimality of the conditions assumed on the source.
