Abstract:We study the structures of arbitrary split Leibniz triple systems. By developing techniques of connections of roots for this kind of triple systems, under certain conditions, in the case of $T$ being of maximal length, the simplicity of the Leibniz triple systems is characterized.

Abstract:In this paper, we first define a concrete representation on an abelian extension of a Leibniz triple system L by a Leibniz triple system A. Using this new representation we construct the third-order cohomology classes by derivations of A and L, which characterize the splitting property of above abelian extensions. Then we study the obstruction for extensibility of derivation pairs. We prove that the set of compatible derivation pairs can define a Lie algebra, whose representation can also characterize the extensibility of the compatible derivation pairs.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the mathematical structure of Nijenhuis Lie triple systems, an extension of classical Lie triple systems augmented with the Nijenhuis operator. Our study focuses on the cohomology of Nijenhuis Lie triple systems and demonstrates how abelian extensions of Nijenhuis Lie triple systems are related to cohomology groups. Additionally, we define Nijenhuis Lie triple 2-systems and also classify `strict' and `skeletal' Nijenhuis Lie triple 2-systems in terms of crossed modules and the cohomology of Nijenhuis Lie triple systems.

Abstract:We study the structure of arbitrary split Leibniz superalgebras. We show that any of such superalgebras ${\frak L}$ is of the form ${\frak L} = {\mathcal U} + \sum_jI_j$ with ${\mathcal U}$ a subspace of an abelian (graded) subalgebra $H$ and any $I_j$ a well described (graded) ideal of ${\frak L}$ satisfying $[I_j,I_k] = 0$ if $j \neq k$. In the case of ${\frak L}$ being of maximal length, the simplicity of ${\frak L}$ is also characterized in terms of connections of roots.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the notion of system of quotients of Lie triple systems and investigate some properties which can be lifted from a Lie triple system to its systems of quotients. We relate the notion of Lie triple system of Martindale-like quotients with respect to a filter of ideals and the notion of system of quotients, and prove that the system of quotients of a Lie triple system is equivalent to the algebra of quotients of a Lie algebra in some sense, and these allow us to construct the maximal system of quotients for nondegenerate Lie triple systems.

Abstract:For a Lie triple system T over the complex field C, we prove that a nilpotent Lie triple system T has a decomposition of subspaces as T = V +̇[T, T, T ], and that a basis of V is a minimal system of generators of T . We also show that if t is a maximal torus on T , then dim t ≤ dim V . By the above results, we naturally call a nilpotent Lie triple system T satisfying dim t = dimV being of maximal rank. We find an interesting relation between nilpotent Lie triple systems of maximal rank and the Kac-Moody algebra, by which we construct a kind of Lie triple systems of maximal rank with some universal property.
Symplectic structure, product structures and complex structures on Leibniz algebras

Abstract:In this paper, a symplectic structure on a Leibniz algebra is defined to be a {\em symmetric} nondegenerate bilinear form satisfying certain compatibility condition, and a phase space of a Leibniz algebra is defined to be a symplectic Leibniz algebra satisfying certain conditions. We show that a Leibniz algebra has a phase space if and only if there is a compatible Leibniz-dendriform algebra, and phase spaces of Leibniz algebras one-to-one corresponds to Manin triples of Leibniz-dendriform algebras. Product (paracomplex) structures and complex structures on Leibniz algebras are studied in terms of decompositions of Leibniz algebras. A para-Kähler structure on a Leibniz algebra is defined to be a symplectic structure and a paracomplex structure satisfying a compatibility condition. We show that a symplectic Leibniz algebra admits a para-Kähler structure if and only if the Leibniz algebra is the direct sum of two isotropic subalgebras as vector spaces. A complex product structure on a Leibniz algebra consists of a complex structure and a product structure satisfying a compatibility condition. A pseudo-Kähler structure on a Leibniz algebra is defined to be a symplectic structure and a complex structure satisfying a compatibility condition. Various properties and relations of complex product structures and pseudo-Kähler structures are studied. In particular, Leibniz-dendriform algebras give rise to complex product structures and pseudo-Kähler structures naturally.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider compatible Hom-Lie triple systems. Compatible Hom-Lie triple systems are characterized as Maurer-Cartan elements in a suitable bidifferential graded Lie algebra. We also define a cohomology theory for compatible Hom-Lie triple systems. As applications of cohomology, we study abelian extensions and deformations of compatible Hom-Lie triple systems.

Abstract:In this paper, first we give the controlling algebra of Lie triple systems. In particular, the cohomology of Lie triple systems can be characterized by the controlling algebra. Then using controlling algebras, we introduce the notions of homotopy Nambu algebras and homotopy Lie triple systems. We show that 2-term homotopy Lie triple systems is equivalent to Lie triple 2-systems, and the latter is the categorification of a Lie triple system. Finally we study skeletal and strict Lie triple 2-systems. We show that skeletal Lie triple 2-systems can be classified the third cohomology group, and strict Lie triple 2-systems are equivalent to crossed modules of Lie triple systems.

Abstract:In this paper, we first introduce the notions of a compatible Lie triple system and its representation. We construct a bidifferential graded Lie algebra whose Maurer–Cartan elements are compatible Lie triple systems. We also obtain the bidifferential graded Lie algebra which controls deformations of a compatible Lie triple system. Then we investigate the cohomology theory of compatible Lie triple systems and consider the connection between the cohomology group of compatible Lie triple systems and the cohomology group of Lie triple systems. Furthermore, we develop the 1-parameter formal deformation theory of compatible Lie triple systems and prove that it is governed by the cohomology groups. At last, we study abelian extensions of compatible Lie triple systems and classify them by the second cohomology group.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate non-abelian extensions and inducibility of pairs of automorphisms of Lie triple systems. First, we introduce non-abelian cohomology groups and classify the non-abelian extensions in terms of non-abelian cohomology groups. Next, we characterize the non-abelian extensions using Maurer-Cartan elements. Furthermore, we explore the inducibility of pairs of automorphisms and derive the analog Wells exact sequences under the circumstance of Lie triple systems. Finally, we state the previous results under the context of abelian extensions of Lie triple systems.

Abstract:We explore the role derivations of a Lie triple system play in the nilpotence and semisimplicity of T . In particular analogous to two theorems of Jacobson for Lie algebras, (by giving a sufficient condition for the nilpotence of T in terms of the existence of an invertible derivation, and in terms of the existence of certain automorphisms), are stated. The connections between the Lie algebra of derivations of and the semisimplicity of T are also studied.

Abstract:In this paper, we first introduce the notion of generalized Reynolds operators on Hom-Lie triple systems associated to a representation and a 3-cocycle. Then, we develop a cohomology of generalized Reynolds operators on Hom-Lie triple systems. As applications, we use the first cohomology group to classify linear deformations and we study the obstruction class of an extendable order n deformation. Finally, we introduce and investigate Hom-NS-Lie triple system as the underlying structure of generalized Reynolds operators on Hom-Lie triple systems.

Abstract: We invent a new cohomology theory for Lie triple algebras. Using this cohomology, we introduce the notions of 2-term $L_\infty$-triple algebras and Lie triple 2-algebras. We prove that the category of 2-term $L_\infty$-triple algebras is equivalent to the category of Lie triple 2-algebras. Crossed modules of Lie triple algebras are studied in detail.

Abstract:For many well-known families of triple systems $\mathcal{M}$, there are perhaps many near-extremal $\mathcal{M}$-free configurations that are far from each other in edit-distance. Such a property is called non-stable and is a fundamental barrier to determining the Turán number of $\mathcal{M}$. Liu and Mubayi gave the first finite example that is non-stable. In this paper, we construct another finite family of triple systems $\mathcal{M}$ such that there are two near-extremal $\mathcal{M}$-free configurations that are far from each other in edit-distance. We also prove its Andrásfai-Erdős-Sós type stability theorem: Every $\mathcal{M}$-free triple system whose minimum degree is close to the average degree of the extremal configurations is a subgraph of one of these two near-extremal configurations. As a corollary, our main result shows that the boundary of the feasible region of $\mathcal{M}$ has exactly two global maxima.

Abstract:We prove a new system of relations in the tautological ring of the moduli space of curves involving stable rooted trees with level structure decorated by the top Chern class of the Hodge bundle and $\Omega$-classes and double ramification structures. In particular, this resolves a recent conjecture on these relations as well as connects with one of the two sides of the recently established DR/DZ equivalence between the integrable hierarchies constructions of Buryak and of Dubrovin--Zhang.
