Abstract:This research aim to develop the concept of EHL by reflecting the wish tree metaphor in supporting interactions between government, communities, companies, and agencies to achieve the vision of environmental health. This research used a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological perspective. The community, the penghulu, the village secretary, the village midwife, as well as businesses, professionals, and peatlands specialists served as the study's informants. The peatlands where the study is being conducted is in Indonesia's Riau Province's Rokan Hilir Regency. As a result of this research, it is hoped that stakeholders will become more knowledgeable about the detrimental effects of peatlands management and that they will be able to lessen the negative effects of poor community sanitation on peatlands, protecting the environment and lowering health risks. This metaphor of the wishing tree is said to be upbeat and holding on to improvements in the quality of life in the future. This research is a reflection study that results in a wish tree metaphor that expresses the desire that stakeholders would adopt EHL successfully.

Abstract:The primary objective of this investigation is to conduct a comparative analysis between the target formulation and outcomes of the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP) scholarship program and the targeting outcomes of program model. The research paradigm employed is post-positivism, utilizing qualitative methods to explore program development and assess its effectiveness. Two key conclusions emerge from this study: i) the prescribed structure of the LPDP scholarship program is considered insufficient, marked by a focus on outcomes and activities and ii) the LPDP scholarship program's performance has fallen short of anticipated standards, primarily attributable to a significant disparity between scholarship recipients and program graduates. In light of these findings, five recommendations are proposed for future enhancements to the LPDP scholarship program: i) undertake a comprehensive study to develop a vision for addressing the human resource needs in Indonesia, taking into account regional variations, industries, professions, and scientific disciplines; ii) incorporate scholarship initiatives targeting the foundational stratum; iii) foster collaboration with ministries and institutions engaged in comparable program management and industry sectors; iv) adjust the standard of living and payment mechanisms accordingly; and v) implement stringent consequences within the LPDP framework for scholarship recipients who fail to graduate within the stipulated timeframe.

Abstract:Environmental problems are problems that arise from humans themselves, this can be one of the obstacles to factors that affect the success of teachers and learners in the teaching and learning process in schools. This problem must be overcome by making an effort to foster attitudes and living behaviors for school residents, both teachers, students, employees and parents / families who care about the environment with the management of environmentally sound school areas through the Adiwiyata program. Adiwiyata Program is a program of the Ministry of Environment, where this program is a form of appreciation given by the government to formal educational institutions that are considered to be instrumental in developing environmental education. With the Adiwiyata program, the Faculty of Agriculture – Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya as one of the Universities in Indonesia, especially East Java can make a real contribution in the success of the program through Community Service (PkM) activities. Community Service activities with the empowerment of elementary school teachers are carried out in the West Surabaya area, which is structurally an integral part of the Lakarsantri Subdistrict area, Surabaya - East Java. This program aims to grow and improve the ability of elementary school students to create a healthy environment and avoid negative environmental impacts through school activities with the empowerment of elementary teachers, through active involvement both initiativeally and participatoryly. This method of activity will be carried out using the PRRA (Participatory Rapid Rural Appraissal) and RRA (Rapid and Rural Appraissal) methods, between members of the elementary and companion teachers group (UWKS College) and students. This PkM is important to be proposed and carried out in order to support accelerating the target of achieving the UWKS Higher Education Strategic Plan, where the Umbrella of UWKS Superior Research and Service in accordance with the Rector's Decree in 2012, that the umbrella of research and service of the flagship LPPM-UWKS institution is "Sainteks and Environmental Insights". Where the flagship umbrella of this institution is the basic reference for lecturers to develop self-reliance and creativity, in compiling devotional activities at UWKS. The proposed and will be done service is partly an application of the author's superior research results, where the author's research results have been selected as a national finalist of PT's flagship research products in 2013, as well as a concrete step in realizing the vision and mission of the University, as proclaimed in the UWKS Strategic Plan, is also one of the solutions in solving community problems in facing this pandemic

Abstract:Objective: The successful development of a nation begins with community empowerment and village development. Many policies have been issued to develop villages, especially Law number 6 of 2014 concerning villages. Theoretical Framework: However, implementation in the field still has many obstacles, this is due to the low quality of human resources in the village. Methods: To overcome this problem, the village ministry-PDTT has issued a village past learning recognition (RPL) policy to support village Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, there are many problems that occur. Thus, it is very urgent to have an in-depth study regarding village RPL policies at macro, meso and micro levels. The aim of this research is to analyze Village RPL policies in realizing SDGs through a policy triangle analysis approach. Result: It shows that (1) the Village RPL policy was born due to the problem of low human resources and many villages with very underdeveloped status on the village development index (2) the process of formulating the policy was carried out using a participatory approach involving various stakeholders; central government, regional government, universities, and village officials and activists. Conclusion: This research was only carried out in analyzing the formulation of the agenda setting and RPL policy formulation, there was no field implementation analysis and evaluation of the impact of Village RPL policies.
