Abstract:We use the elliptic interpolation kernel due to the second author to prove an $\mathrm{A}_n$ extension of the elliptic Selberg integral. More generally, we obtain elliptic analogues of the $\mathrm{A}_n$ Kadell, Hua-Kadell and Alba-Fateev-Litvinov-Tarnopolsky (or AFLT) integrals.

Abstract:We derive some Hodge integral identities by taking various limits of the Mariño-Vafa formula using the cut-and-join equation. These identities include the formula of generalλg\lambda _g-integrals, the formula ofλg−1\lambda _{g-1}-integrals onM¯g,1{\overline {\mathcal {M}}}_{g,1}, the formula of cubicλ\lambdaintegrals onM¯g{\overline {\mathcal {M}}}_g, and the ELSV formula relating Hurwitz numbers and Hodge integrals. In particular, our proof of the MV formula by the cut-and-join equation leads to a new and simple proof of theλg\lambda _gconjecture. We also present a proof of the ELSV formula completely parallel to our proof of the Mariño-Vafa formula.

Abstract:We derive residue formulas for the regularized integrals (introduced by Li-Zhou) on configuration spaces of elliptic curves. Based on these formulas, we prove that the regularized integrals satisfy holomorphic anomaly equations, providing a mathematical formulation of the so-called contact term singularities. We also discuss residue formulas for the ordered $A$-cycle integrals and establish their relations with those for the regularized integrals.

Abstract:We prove a two-dimensional $\mathbb F_p$-Selberg integral formula, in which the two-dimensional $\mathbb F_p$-Selberg integral $\bar S(a,b,c;l_1,l_2)$ depends on positive integer parameters $a,b,c$, $l_1,l_2$ and is an element of the finite field $\mathbb F_p$ with odd prime number $p$ of elements. The formula is motivated by the analogy between multidimensional hypergeometric solutions of the KZ equations and polynomial solutions of the same equations reduced modulo $p$.

Abstract:We give a brief account of the key properties of elliptic hypergeometric integrals -- a relatively recently discovered top class of transcendental special functions of hypergeometric type. In particular, we describe an elliptic generalization of Euler's and Selberg's beta integrals, elliptic analogue of the Euler-Gauss hypergeometric function and some multivariable elliptic hypergeometric functions on root systems. The elliptic Fourier transformation and corresponding integral Bailey lemma technique is outlined together with a connection to the star-triangle relation and Coxeter relations for a permutation group. We review also the interpretation of elliptic hypergeometric integrals as superconformal indices of four dimensional supersymmetric quantum field theories and corresponding applications to Seiberg type dualities.

Abstract:In this paper we provide a unified approach to a family of integrals of Mellin--Barnes type using distribution theory and Fourier transforms. Interesting features arise in many of the cases which call for the application of pull-backs of distributions via smooth submersive maps defined by Hörmander. We derive by this method the integrals of Hecke and Sonine relating to various types of Bessel functions which have found applications in analytic and algebraic number theory.

Abstract:Let $\mathcal E$ be a complex elliptic curve and $S$ be a non-empty finite subset of $\mathcal E$. We show that the functions $\tilde\Gamma$ introduced in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1712.07089" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1712.07089">arXiv:1712.07089</a> out of string theory motivations give rise to a basis of the minimal algebra $A_{\mathcal E\smallsetminus S}$ of holomorphic multivalued functions on $\mathcal E\smallsetminus S$ which is stable under integration, introduced in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2212.03119" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2212.03119">arXiv:2212.03119</a>; this basis is alternative to the basis of $A_{\mathcal E\smallsetminus S}$ constructed in loc. cit. using elliptic analogues of the hyperlogarithm functions.

Abstract:We present a generalization of the symbol calculus from ordinary multiple polylogarithms to their elliptic counterparts. Our formalism is based on a special case of a coaction on large classes of periods that is applied in particular to elliptic polylogarithms and iterated integrals of modular forms. We illustrate how to use our formalism to derive relations among elliptic polylogarithms, in complete analogy with the non-elliptic case. We then analyze the symbol alphabet of elliptic polylogarithms evaluated at rational points, and we observe that it is given by Eisenstein series for a certain congruence subgroup. We apply our formalism to hypergeometric functions that can be expressed in terms of elliptic polylogarithms and show that they can equally be written in terms of iterated integrals of Eisenstein series. Finally, we present the symbol of the equal-mass sunrise integral in two space-time dimensions. The symbol alphabet involves Eisenstein series of level six and weight three, and we can easily integrate the symbol in terms of iterated integrals of Eisenstein series.

Abstract:We discuss elliptic quantum Calogero-Moser-Sutherland models, including their relativistic generalizations due to Ruijsenaars and van Diejen, and the relations of these models to classes of special functions developed and explored in recent and on-going research efforts. We give an introduction to these models and corresponding special functions aimed at non-experts. We also describe a few open problems in the field.

Abstract:We introduce and prove evaluations for families of multiple elliptic integrals by solving special types of ordinary and partial differential equations. As an application, we obtain new expressions of Ramanujan-type series of level 4 and associated singular values for the complete elliptic integral $\mathbf K$ with integrals involving $\mathbf K$.

Abstract:In this talk we discuss a class of Feynman integrals, which can be expressed to all orders in the dimensional regularisation parameter as iterated integrals of modular forms. We review the mathematical prerequisites related to elliptic curves and modular forms. Feynman integrals, which evaluate to iterated integrals of modular forms go beyond the class of multiple polylogarithms. Nevertheless, we may bring for all examples considered the associated system of differential equations by a non-algebraic transformation to an $\varepsilon$-form, which makes a solution in terms of iterated integrals immediate.

Abstract:Integrals related to the surface area of arbitrary ellipsoids are derived, evaluated, and compared with each other and existing integrals found in the literature. We clarify the literature on the ellipsoid area problem, which dates back to Legendre's original 1811 work. We derive and evaluate several additional integrals involving or evaluating to elliptic integrals. These new integrals are natural extensions of those found in the literature and constitute useful additions to standard integrals compendia.

Abstract:Building upon the recent works of Bertola; Fasondini, Olver and Xu, we define a class of orthogonal polynomials on elliptic curves and establish a corresponding Riemann–Hilbert framework. We then focus on the special case, defined by a constant weight function, and use the Riemann–Hilbert problem to derive recurrence relations and differential equations for the orthogonal polynomials. We further show that the sub-class of even polynomials is associated to the elliptic form of Painlevé VI, with the tau function given by the Hankel determinant of even moments, up to a scaling factor. The first iteration of these even polynomials relates to the special case of Painlevé VI studied by Hitchin in relation to self-dual Einstein metrics.

Abstract:In recent work (<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="math.QA/0309252" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/math.QA/0309252">math.QA/0309252</a>) on multivariate hypergeometric integrals, the author generalized a conjectural integral formula of van Diejen and Spiridonov to a ten parameter integral provably invariant under an action of the Weyl group E_7. In the present note, we consider the action of the affine Weyl group, or more precisely, the recurrences satisfied by special cases of the integral. These are of two flavors: linear recurrences that hold only up to dimension 6, and three families of bilinear recurrences that hold in arbitrary dimension, subject to a condition on the parameters. As a corollary, we find that a codimension one special case of the integral is a tau function for the elliptic Painlevé equation.

Abstract:A fundamental solution matrix for elliptic systems of the second order with constant leading coefficients is constructed. It is used to obtain an integral representation of functions belonging to the Hölder class in a closed domain with a Lyapunov boundary. In the case of an infinite domain, these functions have power-law asymptotics at infinity. The representation is used to study a mixed-contact boundary value problem for a second-order elliptic system with piecewise constant leading coefficients. The problem is reduced to a system of integral equations that are Fredholm in the domain and singular at its boundary.

Abstract:The rationality of the elliptic Gauss sum coefficient is shown. The following is a specific case of our argument. Let f(u)=sl((1-i)\varpi u), where sl() is the Gauss' lemniscatic sine and \varpi=2.62205... is the real period of the elliptic curve y^2=x^3-x, so that f(u) is an elliptic function relative to the period lattice Z[i]. Let \pi be a primary prime of Z[i] such that norm(\pi)\equiv 13\mod 16. Let S be the quarter set mod \pi consisting of quartic residues. Let us define G(\pi):=\sum_{\nu\in S} f(\nu/\pi) and \tilde{\pi}:=\prod_{\nu\in S} f(\nu/\pi). The former G(\pi) is a typical example of elliptic Gauss sum; the latter is regarded as a canonical 4-th root of -\pi: (\tilde{\pi})^4=-\pi. Then we have Theorem: G(\pi)/(\tilde{\pi})^3 is a rational odd integer. G(\pi) appears naturally in the central value of Hecke L associated to the quartic residue character mod \pi, and our proof is based on the functional equation of L and an explicit formula of the root number. In fact, the latter is nothing but the Cassels-Matthews formula on the quartic Gauss sum.
