Abstract:During the process of informatization of project construction,the development and application of Building Information Modeling(BIM) is the development tendency,but some obstacles of BIM application still exist in China.So,the paper analyzes the basic functions and characters of BIM skills,and compares the BIM development situations and gaps between China and foreign counties.Then analyzes the main obstacles of BIM application in project design,and gives the reasons and suggestions from multiple perspectives.Finally,through a case study of a BIM application in an institute of design,summarizes the usual problems in BIM application,and proposes corresponding suggestions.

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to suggest development direction of open BIM. To achieve this purpose, the authors have investigated application status and current problems of open BIM through question survey to design firm which is introducing or plan BIM. Abstract:At present, with the rapid development of society, China's construction industry is advancing by leaps and bounds. BIM technology, as a new technology, has found a new direction for the construction industry, which is facing severe competitive pressure. This paper starts with the current situation of BIM technology, then the application of BIM technology to the building structure design of function and characteristics were analyzed, and finally explore the application of BIM technology in building structure design, and from the building structure parameter design, the structure of the building structure modeling, building space design in explore the specific application of BIM technology, provide reference for the practical application of BIM technology. It is hoped that BIM technology can be improved so as to create more effective economic benefits for the society in building structure design and meet the relevant requirements of building structure design.

Abstract:In order to improve the application of Building Information Modeling(BIM) in the construction industry of China,some real-life examples and comparison methods were employed to compare and analyze the current approaches to apply BIM.The most efficient approach,i.e.the developer-driven BIM application approach,was determined.Furthermore,some suggestions were also presented so as to extend and improve the application of this approach in the construction industry of China.Through determining and improving the BIM application approach,BIM technology can contribute to the construction industry of China.

Abstract:BIM is urgently needed by China's building industry to meet its opportunities and challenges.However,compared with developed countries,the progress of BIM development in China is very slow.It is urgently needed to discover the barriers of BIM adoption and identify key barriers which strongly impact the BIM adoption so as to propose corresponding measures to remove the key barriers.A survey about barriers' impact was carried out among Chinese construction practitioners.By using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process),41 "barriers of BIM in Building Industry of china" were identified.In the last part of the thesis,a roadmap of BIM adoption and application in china was developed based upon the measures and characteristics of barriers of the BIM adoption in China.

Abstract:Against the backdrop of the booming economic development in China, the construction industry has also witnessed rapid growth. The overall construction process of building projects is no longer a simple “drawing-construction” model, but has become more complex. This study aims to fully utilize BIM technology and apply it throughout the entire construction management process, with the goal of enhancing the quality of construction management, streamlining operational workflows, and improving efficiency. This paper analyzes the current research status both domestically and internationally, and identifies several implementable strategies to enhance the application efficiency of BIM technology in construction project management, considering its use in the planning, design, and construction stages. The research findings presented will greatly assist project management in the field of construction.

Abstract:With the development of informatization in the construction industry, the BIM technology has been rapidly popularized and implemented due to its unique advantages. However, as an evolving technology, BIM still faces many obstacles in the practical application. Among them, the legal issues have already attracted many attentions of researchers and practitioners, which, however, is lacking of corresponding research results in China. Thus, this paper adopts the method of literature review to analyze the legal issues existed in the BIM application in foreign countries from three aspects of ownership, responsibility and contract relationship, which will certainly lay a good foundation for the future research and judicial practice in this field in China.

Abstract:Building information modelling(BIM) has been extensively applied in building industry and it facilitates the intelligentization of building construction. This paper summarizes the intelligent building construction based on BIM. First of all, it divides the application of information technology in building construction into three phases, describes the characteristics of each phase, and points out that intelligentization has been implemented although the industry is in the digitalization phase now. Then,it reviews the research and development of intelligent building construction based on BIM. Finally, it predicts the major trend in the research and development intelligent building construction based on BIM. Abstract:This article mainly analyses the development and application status and development trend of BIM technology after the implementation of the British government, to explore the policies and methods that our government should carry out in the development of BIM. The article also summarizes and analyses the relevant policies and standards implemented by various provincial and municipal governments in promoting BIM technology in China and summarizes the strengths and weaknesses of each other by comparing the development status of the implementation of BIM policies in various provinces and cities. The article also analysed the obstacles encountered in the implementation of some specific projects at the current stage of BIM technology, and summarized the feasible solutions. The article mainly analyses the application prospects of BIM from the technical aspects of design, the application of technology in the construction process, and the strategic implementation and operation of the company, and provides a reference for promoting the application of BIM in the construction industry in China, especially in the western region.

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the application barriers and internal mechanisms of BIM technology in green building projects. It is found that BIM technology can effectively integrate information and optimize management, but its application still faces economic externalities and requires government intervention to promote its development. Through the analysis of five aspects of technology, economy, management, policy and environment, we identified 16 influencing factors and focused on nine key factors, such as insufficient technology maturity and high-cost issues. Research shows that policy and management factors play a fundamental role in BIM adoption and influence economic effectiveness through complex interactions. Based on the ISM-ANP coupling model, we propose that the government should encourage technological innovation and personnel training to promote the effective application of BIM technology in green buildings. This study provides a theoretical reference for the application of BIM and green building on a global scale.

Abstract:In the process of architectural design, construction, operation and maintenance, the problem of inefficiency and inaccuracy in information application and exchange has caused substantial waste of resources and risk in construction industry. Building Information Management provides an opportunity to address the issue. Building information modelling (BIM) has been increasingly applied in design, construction and other information management in China as its important role in reducing engineering changes, improving engineering quality, shortening project duration, saving project cost, enhancing information sharing among the participants many others. As an integration of process and product, its development and implementation need government regulation to enhance its applications effect and standardize its adoption and implementation. Especially, the government guidance affects the application and development of new technology to a great extent in China. However, relevant policy development falls behind the rapid development of its application in practice in China, which has led to many problems in construction practice. In order to develop effective BIM policy for China, this paper conducted a comprehensive review about existing BIM policy in China by analysing its status and problems, comparing it with the corresponding policy in developed countries such as the USA and UK. The expected policy development direction is also discussed and proposed.

Abstract:BIM (Building Information Modeling) is now a widely used tool for architecture, engineering and civil engineering. The application of BIM technology can help improve the efficiency of the construction industry and help evaluating the sustainability aspects of green buildings. However, our literature review finds that the contribution and obstacles of applying BIM for promoting green buildings have not been clearly analyzed. In order to better promote the development of BIM technology, this study explored the contribution of BIM to green building and the obstacles of BIM in the promotion of green building in the form of questionnaire survey of different stakeholders. On the basis of the literature research, we design a questionnaire consisting of 27 questions. In the next step, the questionnaires are distributed to 300 relevant stakeholders of BIM and green buildings. Interviewees mainly cover the building designers, construction company managers, and workers in green buildings certification company. Then SPSS and AMOS software were used to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire to ensure the availability of the results. According to the questionnaire feedback, BIM technology has made important contributions in the design stage, construction stage and other aspects of green buildings. At the same time, we summarize the most urgent barriers from four aspects of technology, management, economy and social environment. Besides distinguishing barriers, we also rank the severity of barriers for different stakeholders, so as to propose more targeted countermeasures.

Abstract:Abstract At present, the history of Chinese ancient architecture has a long history and independent development. As early as The Shang Dynasty, Chinese architectural system has been initially formed. Until the beginning of the 20th century, it has always maintained its own structure and layout principles, and has been widely spread to other countries. BIM Technology is a rapidly rising digital modeling technology in recent years, which is widely used in the construction industry. Its intuition and accuracy have become the advantages of its rapid development. At the same time, BIM Technology can also better protect ancient buildings from the perspective of information. Starting from the ancient building restoration industry, this paper analyzes the current development trend of the domestic ancient building industry, and summarizes the key problems existing in the existing ancient building restoration methods. This paper analyzes and discusses the advantages and functions of BIM technology. According to the example of the old office building of Fengtian Zhaoxin Kiln Company, a BIM model is established. Abstract:Abstract with the development of economy and the reform of cities, the bridge engineering in China has entered a period of rapid development. By 2009, the number of highway bridges in China has exceeded that of the rest of the world. According to the statistics of 2014, the number of roads and bridges in China is 757100, and its extension meters reach 42.5789 million. The emergence of BIM technology has brought a new experience to China’s construction industry. Compared with the traditional CAD, the most significant change in BIM technology is to change building information from two-dimensional to three-dimensional. At the same time, BIM visualization, synergy and automation help building participants to do a lot of work better and more conveniently. Because of the continuous expansion of bridge engineering in China, bridge engineering has gradually become more complex and diverse, which has also brought problems to many industries. The research on BIM in our country is still in some surface stages. There are deeper things worth digging into.
